going for years

we booked two rooms my business parter got to her room after check in to find room not cleaned and wine bottle standing around. she was given another room which we think they never updated on the system which led to her been woken up by someone coming into her room ar 01:00 the morning- imagine the horror and fright. she got dressed and went down stairs to say someone just came in her room. Upon that the reception said it was him and he did not know she was there….

Beautiful hotel located in a quiet suburb, within walking distance to the mall. The staff was friendly and welcoming. I had to do a lot of walking up and down the stairs to the room, otherwise it has great outdoor spaces.

The bathroom needs to be renovated. The water in the shower sprays everywhere and the shower door does not close properly. I could not even use it. I waited an hour and a half for an iron until I gave up. The hotel has potential but needs maintenance and to pay attention to the small things e.g buy more irons. These are things that makes one a bit uncomfortable.

The staff very professional polite and very helpful , I sincerely appreciated the sense of urgency in resolving queries. the bed was deliciously Comfortable and the room was spotlessly Clean. I should thank the chaff for accommodating all my meals requests , that was truly special. The location was ideal for both my meetings and the overall environment was pleasant . Thank you so much for the prompt early checking preparation -much appreciated.

The only thing was the internet was not good at all.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable, heated towel rails for extra comfort

The website is inaccurate in its description of the hotel facilities. There is no elevator on the premises, no ramp for disabled persons to enter the facility, and navigate around the premises. I traveled with big, heavy bags, which I had to carry up and down many flights of stairs. The friendly staff are always willing to assist though. The television channel options are really poor and the picture quality in my room was not good at all.

The room was stylish with a comfortable bed and cushions. The property is beautiful and centrally located. The shower was great. The hotel is very big, so ensure you book a room closer to the entrance if you have trouble walking or need to be in and out quickly. The staff was friendly and accommodating.

I wish it was summer, I wanted to swim in the long, narrow pool ;-) and I wish we could have stayed longer... (neither were the Hotel's fault). Most of the TV channels were not viewable (either hanging or snowy).

Overall experience is great, spacious clean room. Coffee station and mini fridge are a lovely bonus. Friendly staff who remember us regulars.

TV offering is terrible! Only channel worth switching on is BBC News, everything else is not worth the effort never mind the atrocious picture quality!!!! When I place my booking you ask if I have any special requests, I place the same request every time, you respond with a 'sure no problem' and then you ignore it after that!

Good location. Very friendly and helpful staff. Building is old, but very well maintained, beautiful pools and garden areas. Secure on site parking available, but depending on your chosen room it may be quite a walk with your luggage...

Did not eat breakfast at the venue (overpriced) - if cheaper, would've tried it. Went to a mall around the corner for amazing food at half the price of the hotel's food prices (including gratuity).

The personnel were too loud in the mornings that they woke us up on both mornings and don’t consider the fact that guests are sleeping at 07:00 in the morning.

I loved the location, the set up and the pool area. It was quite and relaxing. Our room was well kept and the aircon and TV worked well. It was central to all our activities.

Our sink didn't work so the water was stuck once we closed it, clogged when open, the staff assisted with draining water but obviously made things like teeth brushing a little difficult.

It's very quiet and professional. There are no ladies of the night hanging around the reception which is the cade now with a lot of sandton hotels. The rooms are lovely and gardens pretty.

Only thing I would say is if they would upgrade their pillows to different densities. A lot of hotels have 4 pillows of different density on the bed.
