The 19th Hold Golf Villa is a lovely boutique hotel near the Worcester Golf Club and set in a peaceful and quiet neighbourhood. Your host Angelique is gracious and accommodating which makes the stay very enjoyable. Not all the rooms are the same size, but if you’re staying there, the Albatross Landing room is for sure the recommended one. The rooms are comfortable and homely. You get a TV, a fridge and sizes are pretty generous. There is a pool which is not too deep so that it’s safer for young people. The balcony is a lovely added (and unexpected) touch, as was the jet bath. You get all this under a wonderful thatched roof (the only property in the neighbourhood with one) and for a nominal extra money, you may also get breakfast in the morning. Even during the curse of load shedding, the WiFi stays on, and there are also a couple of lights that will remain powered even when the mains electricity goes out. Uniquely, there are road signs that direct you to this hotel.

If you are a wheelchair user and booked on of the upper rooms, bear in mind that it's not wheelchair friendly. Other than that it's well worth the stay and the only regret is that you’d like to stay longer.

I enjoyed the comfortable bed. The aircon was a winner, especially when it got too hot in the room. I liked the fact that the bathroom was very spacious. I enjoyed the five roses tea. Additionally, I liked the pool as well.

The only thing I didn't like was the fact that I had issues connecting the TV to the wifi. The DSTV Era is kind of over, so having smart TVs that can access Google or Google Chrome would be very nice. That way, guests can watch movies on their favorite movie sites or link all TVs to a Netflix account.

We chose not to eat the breakfast as we had other plans. The location was really great being easily accessible to the N1 and the Karroo National Botanical Garden. The host was very friendly and helpful. Lovely hot shower after a long day. Location is in a secure neighbourhood. Back up lighting in the event of load shedding which was what happened before we arrived late. There was a pleasant view up the mountain from the bedroom. We spent a few hours in the Karroo National Botanical Garden before leaving for our next destination. During early spring make sure to visit the garden after about 10am when the flowers have opened on a sunny day and it’s warmed up. See some photos taken in the garden. Could have spent much longer there too. We would choose this venue again in the future if the opportunity presented itself for that. The host is warmly friendly and welcoming.

There wasn’t anything of real consequence other than we could hear the people in the next room coughing and then talking in the morning - it was not unpleasant though. A better marking with a visible house number and name near the road entrance would make confirming the correct address easier for late arrivals after dark.

The? Is slightly out of line, for the purpose I booked a single room was more for the emotional retreat than focusing on fun... So the night was tranquil and quiet, which fitted me well, and the next morning I was up at daybreak... And I found my answer to face life written on her wall..

even though we were close to home (Stellenbosch) , the drive alone was nice , a different scenery . the property was lovely , open and sunny views , fresh atmosphere , it was quiet and oh the dog Fluffy , she is too cute . they have a pool as well , but unfortunately the weather isn't too hot anymore

the fact that the bathroom was literally just there in our room , no privacy . but that's probably our fault as we didn't expect it to be like that .

The property staff were super friendly. Amazing views of Worcester. Pool was amazing with the hot weather. Rooms were super clean and had a nice look and feel. Mall was a nice 8 mins drive and had everything you needed. We did lots of shopping there.

There was nothing to not like.

Everything was superb. Gorgeous room, beautiful view, lovely breakfast. The bathroom with the spa bath looked top tier. .

The fact that it was for a special occasion such as a wedding night, expected at least a swan towel on the bed or offer a wedding package that includes champagne.

Large room with balcony, fantastic spa bath and twin showers, extra large bed. Cooked Breakfast was good

No easy chairs, no dressing table, lacked some little extras that most b&bs supply, Non cooked breakfast was lacking variety, very little fruit and juices

The location and especially our view from our room was beautiful. We stayed in the Albatros. The room was very comfortable and clean. The wall mounted heater and very warm duvet helped a lot in a very cold Worcester. The bed/matrass was very comfortable - had a very good night rest! The breakfast was good.

The bathroom with it's spa bath and 2 shower heads was beautiful, but we did not even fill a 1/4 of the bath when the water turned cold! Too small geyser?

Place and a host were very nice. Also a dogs company. We couldn’t enjoy a swimming pool due to weather, but it looked appealing. We had a spacious room for our daughter to rumble around
