We went to Busan for the lantern fest at Samgwansa temple and looked for a hotel in Seomyeon: many buses go from Seomyeon directly to the temple or you can even walk there (3km), it takes only 25 minutes to go to Haeundae or Gamcheon village, less to Busan station. Lotte Hotel proved to be an excellent choice: rooms with spectacular views, all the furniture looked newly restored, very nice lounges, excellent wifi, good coffee, beautiful external pool, everyone extremely helpful — we will stay there again, when in Busan.

Having to pay for a seat at the pool we would have spent longer at the pool if we had been able to sit comfortable at the We had already paid extra to use the pool facilities and then we were unable to sit poolside consequently we did not order a drink or anything to eat

beautiful hotel room v comfie with fab view of busan. Room decor a little dated but didnt make a difference to our amazing stay, comfie beds lovely bathroom, spacious. breakfast buffet extravagant. Had a little issue one morning re charge for breakfast being much higher than pervious morning due to a misunderstanding re booking it the night before but this was quickly sorted out by nice guy who worked at entrance to breakfast area. booked a massage while there at extra cost was good, didnt use gym but one use was free over our 4 night stay. Hopefully will get to use the gorgeous outdoor pool on our next stay at the lotte Busan.

The Lotte Hotel was a luxury hotel at an affordable rate. The location is excellent; the Staff was friendly, courteous, attentive, in service of guests, and very professional. The beds and pillows were so comfortable; the view of the city from the room is beautiful; no traffic noise that was disruptive of sleep; complete with all amenities from an ATM Currency Exchange machine to a scale to weigh suitcases. The room is spacious, clean, and comfortable. There is an easy access to the underground shopping which is amazing as well. Whenever I return to Busan, I know exactly where I will be staying ~ at the Lotte Hotel.

It would have been nice to have had more sitting furniture in the lobby.

This is a high end hotel so it’s quite expensive but I would say the price is very worth it. The breakfast was exceptional, definitely one of the best hotel buffets I’ve ever had, rooms very spacious and comfortable. It’s airy and light, the windows are massive and views are good. There is a spa, outdoor and indoor pool, fitness, restaurant and direct entry into the Lotte shopping mall. The location in Seomyeon is also great. It’s a lively area with many restaurants, cafés, shops, clubs and bars. Even though the area is quite loud, it’s very calm and quiet in the hotel. The hotel is on the green and red metro lines by which you can easily reach most of the popular tourist areas of Busan

Fitness Center. It is world class in terms of gym equipment & spa/sauna facilities. We were given a double bed to celebrate our 30th Wedding Anniversary. This was fantastic & much appreciated!

Breakfast is poor value for money compared with the variety of buffet spread in most Singapore and Australia 4 star hotels. No concierge or bell boy services to greet us upon arrival. ATM machines do not allow for foreign card to withdraw cash. Recommended tour service was over priced at USD360. It was not properly clarified at the beginning and we were given the impression that it was KRW360,000.

Thank you Lotte Hottel especially for Mr.Bryan (concierge / luggage / helper), who works close to the main door. I know politeness and attention are part of the protocol. But I was having trouble, and Mr.Bryan helped with orientation and patience to calm me.  I know it is not polite to give money or gifts to the hotel employees, so I try to thank him in another manner. Mr Bryan, you really helped me to have a good experience in Busan. I will return to Lotte; if I am lucky, I will be there during your watch!

All the robes have just one (small) size.

The room is cozy and practical. Bed was also comfortable. Lovely view! We had a small 2 person couch next to the window which really increased the feel of cozyness of the room. You can go directly to the lotte department store and the metro from the hotel lobby which was really great especially during the very rainy day. Breakfast is amazing. The amount of options for food is mind-blowing.

The sink faucet felt very cheap and I was concerned it will break on its own just by using it normally. The bathroom door also had problems when closing, the amortization mechanism on the door was not working properly and the door just slammed itself. Quite concerning when you get a 100000 won guarantee fee retracted from the credit card besides the room price.

The outdoor pool was awesome and I loved that the evening session was adults only! The hotel staff was wonderful and easy to communicate with. The location is amazing, the subway is easy to access from the hotel to get around Busan and the food court under the hotel was cheap and full of options (cafes, restaurants, street food etc). We also did room service one night and had a chicken and beer party while watching Kdramas, And the room service was fast (25 mins wait) and delicious.

The beds were very firm, I would have liked them a bit more soft (Paradise hotel beds were like clouds and this was the opposite). Also the screen mirroring on the TV didn't work at all.

Amazing hotel, I travel a lot, but the beds in this hotel are amongst the best I’ve ever slept in. Friendly staff, great food, perfect location for a stay in Busan.

Think it strange you have to specify what time you would like to be at the pool and didn’t like that once you have picked a time-slot for a day, you can’t go back at another time. For time at the beach this hotel may not be the right choice as both public transport and taxi take almost 1 hour to get to the beach.(traffic congestion and way to many bus/metro stops)
