This was our first trip to Jeju island as part of our first trip to Korea or Asia in general. Jeju is a beautiful place. We specifically chose not to stay in one of the two big towns, instead opting for something that looked quiet and on the coast as a contrast to our time in Seoul. The fact that the hosts speak English was a draw, and was very helpful not just for the stay itself, but Sue very kindly helped us by calling restaurants to pre-order food as well as checking to see if places we were planning to visit were open. The little town in the Andeok valley is very small, but has a surprising number of good restaurants and convenience stores as well as access to two sections of the island's Olle trail system. You can do a mountainous hike up a cliff or a hike along the coast starting just down the street from the inn. From the rooms as well as the common breakfast area, you can see the ocean and sunset over the cliff. Our room had a good air conditioner, but we only used it once for a few hours. Otherwise we enjoyed the fresh air and slept with the sliding door open, listening to the sound of the ocean waves. The inn is in a town that is off the beaten path - it is several kilometers just to get to the main road to go to other parts of the island. But in return, you are right on the coast and it is very peaceful with very little traffic. Breakfast includes homemade bread, jam and yogurt, fresh salad, local fruit, juice, coffee, hard boiled eggs, ham, cheese and cereal. It was the same every day, but the quality was excellent.

If guests had access to laundry facilities, that would be a nice touch. However, there is a laundromat within walking distance.

Jeju Doldam was amazing! The property is very homey and Sue, the owner, made us feel right at home. The room and bathroom were very clean and nicely decorated, and the balcony had a view of the ocean. The breakfast is also incredible - Sue made homemade bread, yogurt, eggs, and apricot jam!

We didn't realize that Jeju Doldam was about 2 hours away from many of the main sightseeing activities on the island (the ones on the east coast). We rented a car so it was no big deal, but still kind of a time suck! This place is great though for staying outside any of the cities, which are very developed and busy even on Jeju Island, so overall we were really happy we stayed here.

This place is cute and the room has an amazing view. Its close to Olle trails and always have some nice corner where you can enjoy the sea view or the mandarin farms. Dori the dog is so friendly and my daughter really enjoyed playing with him. Cafe Lucia is within walking distance and they have amaxing bread selections. There are couple of 7/11 or CU nearby

To get around to places of interest comfortably you will probably need a car /taxi, however the walking trails , cafes and some restaurants are within walking distance and you definitely can enjoy great view along the way

Sue and her husband were great hosts, they made us feel at home, and gave us useful advice for our itinerary. We had a perfect stay with my husband and two kids, who could play outside in the garden and pet Dori the dog. The breakfast was tasty and finally salty, with great view on the sea. The rooms had scenic view too, on the garden and sea. The coast is in walking distance, as well as some great black porc and seafood restaurants, adviced by the hosts. Excellent choice for families for a relaxed holiday.

Sue and her husband are wonderful people. They are welcoming and have good tips, will help you in any way you need.

There was a misunderstanding in the rooms description, when I booked a Bedroom, I expected 1 bedroom and a living room or separate space. It was just one room. It were a little tight with 2 toddlers but it worked out. It wasn't a problem itself but know that there is no beaches there. Beaches are 15min drive, but you do have a beautiful sea view and seaside walkway.

Large, nicely decorated room with even a massage chair! Nice owners, good breakfast and two very sweet dogs. Guesthouse is located in a small village and therefore there are not as many tourists as in other parts of Jeju (but still quite a lot). Oceanview is a big plus.

The sun was shining every day (lucky us!), and therefore there was no shade on our south facing balcony and we could not sit there. An umbrella or sunscreen would have been nice.

Loved my stay at this property. The hosts were so kind and generous. They were also very knowledgeable of the island and helped me plan a day hike nearby. The breakfast was made with love every morning, complete with delicious homemade bread and jam. You can tell the hosts love what they do, which made the experience really enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this spot if you’re looking for seclusion and go get away from the busy cities!

Sue has been a very good host and has helped us with information ahead of our arrival, and during our stay. She gave us good places to visit, restaurants were to go, and helped us organize taxis. The place is very nice, with sea view, and a very nice terrasse to enjoy a drink and breakfast. It is also very quiet, and the town has a few restaurants including BBQ. I would recommend the area is you have a car if you din't want to rely on bus or taxi. It is a quiet town, so not much to do past 8pm.

Beautiful, serene location. Wonderful views to the harbor and the countryside. Excellent staff attitude (the couple who own the place). Good continental breakfast with homemade and homegrown products. Excellent styling in my room as well as in the common areas. Blessed massage - couch in room. Clean and spacious. A few excellent local restaurants nearby.

No laundry service on site, but there is a laundromat in short walking distance.

Excellent B&B in a quiet and quaint setting in Daepyeong-ri, just beneath cliffs of the Andeok Valley. The entire B&B, rooms and facilities were very clean and well maintained by the owners, who were always available to assist. The rooms were modern and comfortable and the floors were nicely heated. Breakfast was hearty and delicious in a delightful dining area overlooking the sea. Individuals, families or groups will find this a nice place to explore the surrounding hills, farms, and coastline by foot, and to relax and rejuvenate. The village centre had good excellent meal options for dinner.
