Location was great, right in the heart of Insadong. Easy access to shopping, food and sights.

Ongoing construction. There was some construction work going on in the building, especially the front door area. It was tough to find the entrance since it was closed for construction and guests had to use the back door.

Did not expect the free facilities (e.g., onsen and supper)! Truly enjoyed them

The heating in the room was very hard to control. Some nights it was too stuffy, other nights were too cold.

It was super quiet, which is basically my top criteria. And it was super clean. And it was affordable. I booked on a variety of apps (Booking.com and Agoda) because the cost was about 25% of booking through the hotel itself haha. Location is walking distance to tons of tea shops and restaurants in Invading and close to public transport.

The staff were ... frustrating. They'd wake me up with phone calls at midnight when there was a language barrier and I couldn't even understand what they were saying. Turns out it was something that 100% could wait till morning. Even though I had the Do Not Disturb sign up, the housecleaner would knock until I got up and answered in the morning, and I kept trying to tell the front desk to ask her not to, but there was a language barrier. Understandably most of the staff don't speak English, so it's maybe not the best fit for non-Korean speakers like me. Also advertised included breakfast was not present because of COVID.

Great location and lovely view from the deluxe twin room. I stayed here twice during my trip, the first time in a deluxe twin and the second time in a standard double. There was no view in the standard but still very comfortable. Worth the small extra cost for the deluxe room with an incredible view! Staff were friendly and spoke English pretty well, which isn’t always the case in Korean hotels. You can easily walk to the main historic sites in Seoul.

This is a highly recommended and value for money option in Seoul; it’s located in the heart of the one of the most interesting parts of Seoul and the room, whilst small (as you expect in this city) was very well set out to make the most of the space and the bed was really comfortable. The room was quiet too, so I slept very well here. The breakfasts were also good too.

Nothing really - the staff might have been a touch more welcoming but that alone wouldn’t prevent me from staying here again- it’s a very good hotel for the price.

The pillow had a plastic cover which was very uncomfortable and made loud noises with even the slightest movements. My partner and I woke up multiple times each night. Please replace the pillows.

The location of this hotel was fantastic, almost everything we wanted to visit was super close including bus stations, metro stations and convenience stores. The cleanliness was also excellent. We also received 2 bottles of water each day and checkin and checkout went very smoothly. The staff were friendly, and we didn't have any issues

The beds were a bit on the harder side, but that's to be expected. A water pipe could be heard from above, but during the night it rarely made a sound and it wasn't that bad

My friend and I booked a standard double room for 7 nights. Room is well maintained and clean. Essentials (e.g. towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hairdryer, and water) are provided except for disposable ones like toothbrush and toothpaste due to post pandemic reasons. Water pressure is good and we especially like that the toilet has bidet. 👍🏼 Staff was nice to lend us their umbrella on rainy days. They also assisted us to arrange a taxi going to the airport at 3AM. It’s strategically situated near shopping streets, restaurants and cafe. Nearest bus or subway station will take you around 6min walk.

Super good breakfast (Japanese food, fresh fruit, bread, cereals...) The staff is nice and friendly and a very nice Spa. Also, the hotel is close to 2 different MTR lines, and restaurants, shops, which is very convenient.

Rooms are small and have no cupboard but it's probably the case for all the hotels at this price
