- Excellent location with a subway stop for Jongno-3 station right outside the door and near many restaurants and cute little shops. There are also a couple of convenience stores that open 24/7 in case you're awaking at 2am fighting jet lag. When my Korean friends visited, they also mentioned that it was a really good location where lots of young folks hang out after work. - AC worked amazingly well during the summer heat - Good amenities (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, vanity kit, complimentary water) - Beautiful rooftop (though it looked smaller than in the pictures) - Super helpful staff Helpful notes: - You can get to the hotel with the airport limousine (like the 6002). It stops <10 minutes away. Or you can take a combination of airport limousine and subway so you can exit right by the hotel (take exit 4) - Make sure you have ample cash to purchase a transit pass and buy stuff from street vendors outside (though if you prefer paying with card, ask them if they accept card before indicating that you have cash). There's a currency exchange machine in hotel just in case.

- The lobby is actually on the roof. So many people were confused during check in... It would be nice if this was mentioned in the welcome/reminder email. - If your neighbor decides to have a concert in their shower, you will definitely hear it

Room was very large, bed was big and super comfortable. Large, stand-up shower was nice. Convenient location right by Jongno 3-ga Station on the Seoul subway line. Surrounded by lots of cafes, restaurants. Recommend Obelee right across the street for beautiful pastries and really good coffee. Beautiful rooftop with nice views, lounge with games on the first floor and the second floor where breakfast is located has lots of seating plus a water dispenser and coffee machine open 24 hours. The Moxy brand is definitely geared towards a younger demographic, you check in on the 16 floor where the bar is and they have free welcome cocktails. Staff was very pleasant and kind.

At night, it's a bit of a party area which was fun but slightly noisy when getting to bed (we were street facing). Just a heads up if you are looking for a calmer, sleepier area at night.

Location - you can’t go wrong with Insadong and the location of this hotel. It is conveniently located by 3 subway lines! Hotel - it is clean, noise proof, the staff is nice You can walk to the 2 palaces, Bucheon Hanok village the stream and Myongdong. it is really convenient. Expect a lot of (young)people drinking and eating on the street at night as it is a popular place. If you have watched any Korean movies and dramas you know about the street restaurants. you will see many of those here. it is not too noisy and it is actually really cool to be right there

Excellent location: walking distance to some of the main sights of Seoul, right next to lively Inseondong Hanok Village and with easy access to public transport. The staff were very friendly and helpful, e.g. arranging a take-out breakfast when I had to leave one day before the breakfast started.

My room was generally clean. However, the window was quite dirty. The, rather small, desk could use a dedicated light.

The room and all other hotel facilities (bar, gym, laundry, luggage storage) were in a very good condition, stylish and modern, pleasant to look at and to use. Gym is small but clean and has a treadmill and some dumbells. Nice breakfast. Great location, right to the underground station. Across the road you can find loads of cute cafes and restaurants. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Thank you so much for this stay

Sometimes there was a really weird smell coming from the bathroom ?ventilation? or so it seemed

Location! Walking distance to everything...palace, galleries, a variety of restaurants, subway outside your door, airport limousine bus. Family of four here ✋🏻. Scored rooms 1010 and 1011 which they closed off with a main door, giving us extra space to put shoes and luggage ( rooms are bijoux but efficient and super clean). Spent a week here. Pleasantly surprised to see a mixed bag of clientele ( multi- generational families, young couples , some with kids, teens, older couples). Small gym but does the job. Very helpful staff. Everything we could need. Tried the buffet breakfast a few times. Look out for board notice at check in saying if you pay first you get a discount. We took advantage of that only on the third time because it wasn't advertised anywhere and only noticed later. It was good, sufficient and satiating (looked pretty). Not cheap but the times we ate there were convenient. Last note: free coffee or tea 24 hours. Yes! Would stay here again. Best part is the chance for the teens to go exploring on their own right outside the door.

Nothing it was perfect for our needs as a family of four.

Staffs were very friendly, helpful and accommodating! The hotel itself is very nice and funky with exceptional facilities and superb view from the rooftop. The room too, although on the smaller side, was very nice with comfy beds, good layout, good lighting and even an electronic bidet in the bathroom! The location of the hotel too is superb with a subway station right in front of the entrance, Ikseondong village just across and all the different convenience stores every few steps away. If youre used to walking, the hotel is also within walking distance to many other Seoul attractions like Bukchon Hanok Village, Gyeongbokgung palace, Cheonggye Plaza and so on (~around 20 mins).

Need to improve more on cleanliness as there were some stray hair in the room when we just arrived. On most days, our used cups were also not cleared away/replaced. The shower water isnt as hot as it usually is at around 5/6AM in the morning.

I stayed in Moxy Insadong for 4 nights with family . i would say the whole experience was exceed my expectation and very pleasant staying . 1) Room is very new and clear. Bed are comforatble and quite roomy for 2 person 2) Room is quite large compare with others hotel in Seoul. we can leave 2 big suitcases , 1 small suitcase but still have lot of space in the room. ( i have been Seoul more than 6 times, always stayed in Myeongdong. The room is much smaller than Moxy Insadong) 3) very considerate to have folderable table and chair, 4) we stayed at 4 th floor , room facing the street but don't hear any noise from the street ( From friday to monday night ) 5) Great location . Subway station Jongro 3 ga - No.4 just in front of the hotel 6) Excellent concierge and cutomer serivce- they all speak very good english, very friendly & helpful. The young lady helped my dauhgter to order take away at the night time , appreciated. 7) Lots of restaurants downstair, we personlly quite like it as its very convenince. we arrived at 11:00pm on the first day and still able have nice BQQ dinner .

I had an absolute great stay at moxy. I didn’t use many (or any?) of the facilities as I was more out than in. I only saw the rooftop at checkin. But the location is great. If you’re young and love a good time, the street in front is so fun every night. The subway is also literally at the front door and has convenient lines. My room was perfect in size and interior for me as a solo. In the 10 days I was here I literally also only saw the housekeeping lady ever. So nobody (guests) was a bother. It’s a bit expensive as a solo, but compared to similar hotels I’d say it’s fine. Would 10/10 recommend and will for sure stay here again.

Location was great. I skipped the breakfast as I could get better value food elsewhere. I would have liked to try the Korean breakfast which looked great. The western breakfast options didn't look so good. The room was perfect. Great view, big enough, very comfortable bed, air conditioning was easy to control. I loved that the window opened (and didn't even mind about the noise from the street!). I especially liked the folding table and chair. I used these to do work and share a cup of tea with a guest. I used the baggage locker and laundry which were great.

Breakfast was too expensive. Teabags in the room would have been very very welcome. (I would prefer a cup of Korean tea more than the vanity kit!)
