- Excellent location with a subway stop for Jongno-3 station right outside the door and near many restaurants and cute little shops. There are also a couple of convenience stores that open 24/7 in case you're awaking at 2am fighting jet lag. When my Korean friends visited, they also mentioned that it was a really good location where lots of young folks hang out after work. - AC worked amazingly well during the summer heat - Good amenities (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, vanity kit, complimentary water) - Beautiful rooftop (though it looked smaller than in the pictures) - Super helpful staff Helpful notes: - You can get to the hotel with the airport limousine (like the 6002). It stops <10 minutes away. Or you can take a combination of airport limousine and subway so you can exit right by the hotel (take exit 4) - Make sure you have ample cash to purchase a transit pass and buy stuff from street vendors outside (though if you prefer paying with card, ask them if they accept card before indicating that you have cash). There's a currency exchange machine in hotel just in case.

- The lobby is actually on the roof. So many people were confused during check in... It would be nice if this was mentioned in the welcome/reminder email. - If your neighbor decides to have a concert in their shower, you will definitely hear it

Amazing location: right outside the metro, well-connected, beautiful Ikseondong right accross the street, close to a lot of restaurants and bars. The street comes alive at night, which is a very nice atmosphere but can be loud if you face it. Our room was high enough to have a really nice city view, a bit small but had really comfortable beds and a great bathroom. The staff was accomodating and friendly. I really liked the rooftop as well!

The elevator had one song on repeat, I would suggest a mix instead. Breakfast was not worth the money since there are so many cute cafes around with better options. The lounge music had really lound music which made it difficult to work there (but I was able to do so on the rooftop).

The rooms are nice , the bed is comfortable, bathroom is clean, the location is perfect in the middle of all attractions and in insadong where everything is around you food, shops, mini markets, subways

My only comment is : Under the bed is not clean it looks like it was never cleaned, we stayed for 8 days and the sheets were never changed !

Room was very large, bed was big and super comfortable. Large, stand-up shower was nice. Convenient location right by Jongno 3-ga Station on the Seoul subway line. Surrounded by lots of cafes, restaurants. Recommend Obelee right across the street for beautiful pastries and really good coffee. Beautiful rooftop with nice views, lounge with games on the first floor and the second floor where breakfast is located has lots of seating plus a water dispenser and coffee machine open 24 hours. The Moxy brand is definitely geared towards a younger demographic, you check in on the 16 floor where the bar is and they have free welcome cocktails. Staff was very pleasant and kind.

At night, it's a bit of a party area which was fun but slightly noisy when getting to bed (we were street facing). Just a heads up if you are looking for a calmer, sleepier area at night.

The location is absolutely banging! There is a metro station right outside, every evening the road becomes a pedestrian street and packed with locals & street food stalls, opposite the hotel there are small lanes into the the infamous ikseondong bukchon village which is also full of fantastic cafes, restaurants & boutiques - super easy to navigate around. The hotel rooms are small but functional - shower & bathroom is decent size. 24hr coffee available and luggage locker / laundry room available. And a roof top bar with killer views. I would say the room is good to share for couples but a little cramp for friends to share. I would stay here again for the location. Staff were also super friendly.

The location is superb. Lots of activities around till late at night but it's quiet in the room. The rooftop bar was the reason that we chose this hotel and we were not disappointed. It's breathtaking. The room size is okay, as long as it's kept tidy. Shower is powerful. Fresh towels everyday. Very comfortable bedding and pillows. If we had more time, we'd explore the hotel a bit more. It seems interesting.

The music that plays in the elevator got to our nerves by the second day. It turned out that other customers felt the same too when we ranted about it in the elevator. Difficult for the taxi to take right up to the front of the hotel because the road is closed at night.

The breakfast was really outstanding. So good and varied for both Korean or Western tastes. The servicing of the room was excellent, the location is really outstanding so overall I was really happy with my stay. Also the left luggage service was convenient and handy. A tip: if you order breakfast when you arrive, you get a 20% discount. If you order online beforehand, you are not offered a discount.

The room was small for 2 people and the door on the bathroom didn't close properly because the hinge was damaged. It's possible staff were unaware of the issue. The room was really warm, but the air conditioning fan was quite noisy so we didn't use it, meaning we were too warm at night. We didn't try to adjust the fan though, so it's possible this is a non-issue for others.

Totally regret not purchasing breakfast because it looked really good! The hotel was always clean and tidy and I liked the location. Right next to a station and plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. Even though we were by a busy street we couldn't really hear much noise which was great. I really liked the smell of the hotel. It was pleasant and not perfume-y in any way. I loved having a heated toilet with bidet feature and the shower water warmed up so fast. Receiving free water bottles whenever we run out is really nice. And the 24 hour access to tea and purified water was convenient, I was able to refill my water bottle before going out for the day.

The light above our bed kept flickering, I think the bulb was faulty. And the sensor light by the door would turn on by itself in the middle of the night and wake us up, so I wish there was a way to turn it off completely. Once or twice the toilet would flush by itself and wake us up.

Location - you can’t go wrong with Insadong and the location of this hotel. It is conveniently located by 3 subway lines! Hotel - it is clean, noise proof, the staff is nice You can walk to the 2 palaces, Bucheon Hanok village the stream and Myongdong. it is really convenient. Expect a lot of (young)people drinking and eating on the street at night as it is a popular place. If you have watched any Korean movies and dramas you know about the street restaurants. you will see many of those here. it is not too noisy and it is actually really cool to be right there

Loved the location and character of this Moy Insadong hotel. The hotel itself was reasonably stylish and comfortable (there are a couple of things that could be better) and within walking distance for most of the more grand tourist attractions in Seoul.

There are a couple of little things that the hotel can improve on. Cleanliness, there were marks on the wall, stains in the curtains and no one had cleaned the windows in my room. The fan/AC is quite loud and every time someone slammed the door the walls of my room would shake. Also the light on the fire alarm is quite bright. Apart from that the rest of the stay was good.
