The location is good, a lot of good food & it’s easy to pin for kakao taxi to go anywhere we wanted. Price is good. Service is good. Triple room bedroom even gave us 2 hair dryers instead of 1 and they gave us 1 extra pillow each as per request. We had a happy stay 🤍

Can only stick to 1 mineral water per pax per day. But that’s ok. We went to convenient store and buy a few bottles to backup.

Location. Bed was very comfortable.

Every time we asked the staff for help with things they didn't do much to help. Examples - we asked about checking in a few hours early by email and were just told no. They didn't mention there were lockers available for luggage. We also asked about turning on the AC in our room but were told no again because of the season. But nobody mentioned that fans were available until my wife suggested it. Lastly, some hooks or shelves in the bathroom for towels would be very helpful.

I had an exceptional stay here and visited for 10 nights. I'd definitely recommend this hotel (and the other Nine Tree Hotels in Seoul). ROOM: The room is spacious and clean, with thorough room cleaning done daily. I was also impressed with how quiet the rooms were. The bed itself was really comfortable, there was a smart toilet (seat heating, a bidet, automated flushing, etc) in the bathroom, and I was beyond comfortable during my stay. I also LOVED the toiletries - the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were amazing. FACILITIES: The WiFi was always fast. I made use of the luggage storage on my last day (free for 12 hrs) with no issues. The coin-laundry services were one of the reasons I chose this hotel - there are washers, dryers, and they're all reasonably priced. There are also enough machines that I never had to wait for other guests. STAFF: All the staff I interacted with were professional and kind. For instance, someone swooped in to show me how to use the detergent vending machine (for coin laundry) and when I accidentally locked myself out of my room safe, they sent someone up within 3 minutes to help me. The room management staff were also very kind, always greeting me and wishing me a good day when we passed in the halls. LOCATION: The hotel is situated on Insadong's main road - a perfect location for any tourist as there are loads of traditional stores, restaurants, and tea houses to visit. Public transportation (metros) are also very short walks away, making the hotel a great central place to stay.

We stayed in the large family room for 6 nights which was comfortable for our family of 5. Our two older boys enjoyed the bunk beds and kids' area. We were happy that the room had a small fridge and microwave as we were travelling with my baby. The room had a living area for the family to hang out after a long day of touring. We liked that the hotel itself was within a shopping mall and a 5 mins walk to the trendy Anguk area where there are lots of cafes and also easy walk to Ikseondong Hanok village, Changdeok gong, Gyeongbukgong. Location is really fantastic

The service was cold and no-frills. They cannot help you book restaurants or call a taxi to the airport. The part that annoyed us the most was that the rooms only had paper cups for the sink and paper cups for the mini kitchenette. Not very practical as the paper cups start to disintegrate.

excellent location - within walking distance to many cultural institutions - Seoul craft museum, modern and contemporary museum, the incredible Arario in Space museum and a zillion smaller amazing galleries in Insadong at the doorstep. Also next to temples and two palaces...... highlight was Insadongs vibrant streets and markets and being able to go back to hotel for a break in the middle of the days adventure. Highly recommended..... fabulous.

im positive about every aspect of this hotel... the staff were very helpful and the star rating reflects the quality of all services and facilities.

The location is excellent for history buff like us. We visited Gyeongbokgung Palace in the morning, walked back to the hotel to rest in the early afternoon and avoided the big crowd, then headed back for the evening visit of the palace. It also helped when we tried to get the tickets to visit Changdeokgung Secret Garden, which was impossible to reserve in advance. Artist Bakery and Onion Cafe are close by. We could easily beat the crowd by getting there at opening time. I also want to thank the cleaning crew for doing a wonderful job and gave us a spotless clean room to welcome us back after our sightseeing.

The sink is located outside the bathroom which means there’s no place to put your clothes - both dirty and clean ones. I had to put them on top of the toilet seat cover which is slanted. I also took a look at the breakfast and found out the bread choices were poor and the coffee machine doesn’t offer cafe latte. Even so, it costs $27. No thank you, there are plenty great coffee in the neighborhood and just five minutes’ walk away, you get delicious egg muffin at Paris Baguette.

The bathroom was quite tight despite being very new and clean. Bathroom door swing open inward so close to the shower and toilet. If someone was indeed inside, it would hit them for sure. If a floor mat is on the floor, you can't open or close bathroom door without it getting in the way. And there was nowhere to put clean clothes in the bathroom to change into. The only place is to close toilet lid and put clean clothes on top. Also, there is no iron and ironing board in room but it seems to be the norm in korean hotels.

Excellent location in the Isandong area. Walking distance to Gyeonbokgung, Changdeokgung and Changgyeonggung Palaces as well as the Bukchon Hanok Village. Jogyesa buddhist temple right opposite the hotel. Unhyeongung Palace, Seoul Belfry, Tapgol Park and Jongmyo Shrine also easily accessible on foot. Anguk Metro close by (haven't used it though), lots of food option in the Isandong area. Room modern and comfortable. Spacious bathroom (booked panoramic suite). Personally, I'd prefer a walk-in shower instead of a tub-shower, but you can't get perfection. Roof top bar nice in the evening, despite non-alcoholic selection small. Haven't used the gym. Breakfast room slightly clinical, but selection quite good. Self-storage for luggage helpful and easy to use. The best thing really is the location, really great for sightseeing. Also several guided city walks by Visit.Seoul.net start nearby. I greatly enjoyed my stay.

WiFi slightly slow, but ok.

Location was great, close to metro station and bus stops. We were able to walk to Gyeongbokgung Palace, Bukchon Hanok Village and Changdeogung. Hotel was close to Jogyesa Temple and Insadong Culture Street. There was a convenience store in the premise adjacent to the hotel which was bigger than the other one around the corner, also lots of restaurants nearby. We really enjoy the Insadong area, close to the attractions but not too busy. Hotel room was nice and clean. There were washing machines and dryers to use, KRW 4000 per use. (I think you need to buy the laundry detergent, we brought our own; so I couldn't remember)

Hooks in the bathroom were very high up and also using paper cups for teeth brushing; would prefer ordinary cup/glass. We needed to ask front desk for more hangers which was not a big issue.

The property is in a decent location for a couple of the main Seoul sites, but to get to many of the other popular locations/neighborhoods it seemed like we had to make at least two or more connections on the subway, which wasn’t optimal. The front desk staff were fine. The cleaning crew came across a little over zealous. That may just be a cultural difference we were picking up on. The manager of the rooftop bar/restaurant was very good. We had an excellent time chatting with him about Korea and he took very good care of us the night we had dinner there.

It was attached to a mall, which made the area and public spaces around the hotel seem very busy/crowded. It was convenient for grabbing sodas or breakfast items, but would have preferred not to have the crowds.
