The location is superb! Super close to Myeongdong subway station, and the Myeongdong Street. It is an all women stay so that's already an awesome start! The staffs there were friendly and helpful, and they responded to all of my inquiries as soon as possible. The facilities are well equipped, and as advertised, although some people might find the shower cubicles are a bit small. The toilets have bidets, which is another plus point to me. The bed is comfortable and cozy, and have the basics facilities for individuals. The shared facilities are also adequate and enough for everyone's usage. You can even leave your luggage after you check-out and have a whole day tour before coming back to pick them up to leave for the airport. I might opt for this place again if my travels to Seoul are full of sightseeing and exploring, and I need a comfortable place to refresh and sleep in. 🤩🥰

I don't mind and can tolerate the slight noises (or ruffles) made by un-avoided movements, AND snores (as I've read in certain comments) but I just hope people would be more tolerate and considerate when staying at a shared hostel like this. They should really follow the rules provided by the accommodation, but at the same time people should not be TOO ENTITLED of any peacefulness, ESPECIALLY at a shared space, in the middle of a bustling and busy tourist spot. If you can't handle any noise at 9pm (mind you AT MYEONGDONG), then you really should not come here. Same goes to people who CAN'T BE QUIET AT ALL, even after the dedicated quiet time. 😅😅

The personal cube is pretty roomy and the mattress is comfortable. The staffs are also all female and they are so friendly and hard working to keep this place tidy around the day. The showers and the restrooms are clean and look new.

A few minor hardware problems: The dryer didn’t dry my clothes effectively (in fact it makes my clothes even damper) so I still have to hang-dry them overnight. The small collapsible desk in my cabinet is not working. It falls back even if I only put my phone on it. The metallic curtain bottom rod makes a lot of noise with the metal frame of the upper bound bed, which makes me always apologize to the roommates.

The location is very near in Exit 4 of Line 4 and in front of Myeongdong Street. The bed is spacious and good enough to sleep and rest. The shower room is clean and has hot shower. They also serve breakfast and towel can be changed daily.

Nothing in particular in this hostel. However, I encountered a customer who has an attitude of observing the behavior inside the room ( tenant in B-1) to be exact like she doesn't want to open the lights and when others are talking she always says quiet even if this is already in daytime. This makes me uncomfortable to stay but definitely not a bad image to the hotel.

It's extremely clean and the staff is easy to communicate with, whether it is recommendations or luggage storage, etc. I felt very safe here. I enjoyed the rooms because it is the price of a hostel but it kind-of feels like a private room with the curtains! The location is great. It is 1 minute walk from Myeongdong station 4 subway line.

It's not a great hostel for meeting other people, but that is not the point really of capsule hostels. I wish there was a larger lounge space but there are lots of cafes nearby to relax or work on your laptop. There is also no kitchen.

Very clean and very centrally located in the centre of Myeongdong. Not a social hostel so it’s nice and quiet. Staff were super friendly and helped me with my bag up and down the stairs. Basic breakfast included which was cereal and toast. Bedding and slippers and a little basket for your toiletries was also provided.

The mattress was way too firm for me. The showers were very small and made it a little hard to get changed. The pods don’t have their own air conditioning or fans so got a little hot.

The location is excellent! Super close to Myeongdong shopping area and the subway entrance. Bathroom is clean, and bed is comfortable, the wonderful part is that they offer a small basket with bathroom shoes, public use hair dryer, microwave, and fridge. The room is a little bit smaller than expected but the bed is a regular bed size, the bedroom is warm, even in the winter season only has 20F/-4C. If you want to safe travel expenses and stay with a nice clean living quality, this is acceptable !!

I liked the location. It was really near the train station and exit. I like the comfy beds and blanket. The roll down blinds were great, cause it was not noisy like the usual curtain style. Most of the occupants don't snore. Ample storage under the bed, slightly out of luck if you get assigned the top bed, cause it might be a bit creeky. They had sharing full sized fridge, microwave, water dispenser, sink and cutleries. Businesses nearby, bbq shop, Mcd, Olive Young, CU x2, 24hrs eatery, 7-11.

I didn't like the toilet facilities, there was only 3 cubicle for shower and 4 toilet shared by all the rooms. Shared combs were not cleaned, makes me wonder if they even vacuum the walking areas which is not air-conditioned. There isn't a good size pantry if you want to do some work or chill by a table, it only fits 5 at a time. There is only one pay per use 5L? washing machine and dryer shared by all. Noise reducing is dependent on occupants themselves. I had ppl packing luggage next to me at 5.30 in the morning, with all the plastic rustling, great. Breakfast is thawed frozen bread + spread, 2 toasters for use.

Philstay Myeongdong Boutique Female is conveniently located at Myeongdong Subway Exit 4 and Airport Limousine Bus Stop. It’s also walking distance to Myeondong Shopping District, Namdaemun Market (fir cheap finds) and Baekbom Square (hiking view if the N-Seoul Tower. The facility is clean and the staff are warm and accommodating.

It’s not about the property but common about hostels in particular, room mates can be noisy. You need to wear ear plugs while sleeping so as not to be disturbed by inconsiderate room mates.

i love the fact that they allow me to check in as early as 8am because the bed is ready…the check in time is flexible…its very near to myeondong station..the staff fatma is very helpful…the properties are clean…the toilet are clean…they provide bucket. and slippers for the guest…very convenient

The location is amazing, just a 3 mins walk from Myeongdong station exit 4. Across the street is Myeongdong shopping area! There are common areas where you can eat and the hostel provides water (hot and cold) and there is a microwave too. There were restaurants around the hostel too. I only had a small luggage so it wasn't much trouble opening and storing the luggage for me. You can put your luggage in your room, and they can store luggage in the common area for free. The room was really quiet, luckily my roommates were sensible people who were quiet after 11pm ^^ Thanks to them I had good sleeps during my stay here. Definitely recommend and will stay here again when I visit Korea the next time!
