Fantastic staff! Everyone I encountered was great!! Modern, very new, relaxed atmosphere! Despite my negative points below the stay was great and would still stay again on my next visit to Alicante!

It’s a new hotel - so it’s understood there will be some small issues, but the room really lacked quality craftsmanship. Sloppy paint job, missing grout/silicone on tiles where it should be, random screws and holes. For a brand new room it was really poorly finished. Also - please have a member of staff stand in room 511 and then someone use the shower in the room that backs into it! You will get the shock of your life as I did at 05:00 one morning!

I recently stayed at this accommodation, and overall, it was a great experience. The place is newly reopened, very clean, and well-maintained. The staff was friendly, and the 24/7 reception was convenient. They even gave us a free drink ticket. Location was also great.

The only downside was the lack of Wi-Fi in our room, which is important for tourists. Other than that, everything was excellent! I would rate 10 if the WiFi in the room worked fine.

The hotel is located in a strategic location, in a calm area and near to Alicante center at the same time. The Bypillow staff is exceptional, professional, efficient and willing to help clients anytime. I had a very warm welcome by Cath, and thanks to her support, I was able to be quickly familiar with Alicante center city and to book a trip for visiting Tabarca Isle! The breakfast was good and the staff who are managing the premises are very friendly (e.g., Maria). The room was clean, and equipped with all necessary items. The room was cleaned on a daily basis

Some points to improve: i) Absence of TV (it worked only the first night), and then it asked for a PIN code, I have escalated this issue to the reception, but it was not resolved ii) Absence of WIFI (internet in the room), so I should go at the reception to get internet signal. iii) The room was not well isolated, I can hear everything from the neighbor

Breakfast very good, plenty of variety in Continental fare Would have expected fresh fruit juice (orange at least) rather than from concentrate, given hotel is in Valencia province of Spain!! The hot food selection was a bit hit and miss, with O noted, greater fare at weekends. I did appreciate the roast asparagus, the little tubs of olive oil and the variety of breads. However the "toaster", as in most Spanish hotels was absolutely hopeless! The huge selection of fair trade coffees from the well-maintained professional machine was a great bonus. The staff were quietly efficient, with some being more zealous than others in switching off said machine and clearing away the hot food on the button of 10.30 am Mon-Fri, 11.00 at weekends! Geraldine was superb, in every aspect and very kind and attentive to my disabled husband. She was polite, friendly and sweetly professional at all times, with a ready smile every morning. The cleaning and chamber staff were also quietly professional and charming. The Argentinian female Receptionist, could nit have been more professional or helpful in a time of crisis regarding my lost mobile phone. Her name escapes me at this moment, but I hope I can recall it. Her colleague Naomi was also professional and very helpful.

Nothing at all wrong with the hotel, and all issues mentioned in earlier reviews, I read shortly after the re-furbishment of the entire building, had all been resolved during our stay, including the vital lift. We paid over £2,000 for our two-week stay, including breakfast of 13€, in a superior double room, with a huge terrace, with seating and shower, right at the top of the 5 storey building, with great views of the city and the rear of Santa Barbara castle. Air conditioning was brilliant and the provision of a brand new duvet against air con chill during the night, a much appreciated addition to our comfort. I cannot comment on lesser rooms, and some did look quite small, upon passing open doors in a corridor. I guess one gets what one pays for!

This hotel is situated a short walk from the shops, bars, restaurants and port. The decor in the reception, lobby and rooms styles a boho vibe which brings peace and tranquility throughout. The hotel is clean, the staff are friendly, helpful and accommodating. The fresh water on arrival and a drinks voucher is a nice touch along with a voucher after the staff for future bookings. Would highly recommend ByPillow. A great little hotel for a trip exploring the city.

The parking was being refurbished however, the staff assisted us with our bags and showed us an underground parking nearby for €13 per day.

The staff was extraordinary, especially the very kind woman who helped me with my sim card problems at 6:00 in the morning. I was leaving that day and without her I would have had a big problem finding my hotel at my next stop, without google maps, in a place where there were no taxis at the bus station. I also really liked my room and super comfortable bed.

I couldn't figure out how not to drench the bathroom floor when taking a shower, but that could have been me.

Location, cleanliness, staff!! We were given recommendations and the staff was helpful everytime we had something to ask (about transportation, paggage storage, etc.) Our room was perfectly clean, had refillable water bottle for us to use, body wash, shapoo and conditioner and even a steamer for clothes!!

The gym was not open yet (which we knew beforehand though) and the room was super small but we didn’t really need more space!

Room was comfortable, modern and fresh with a recent renovation. Having a balcony was a nice addition. The breakfast was exceptional with plenty of fresh choices and happy staff, worth the cost. Only 10 mins from the train station made it easy to arrive and depart.

Check-in process seemed overly long and complicated and was the only time I had to fill in my own details at the counter despite booking online and providing that information prior to arrival. Also, the floor of my room was considerably dirty.

Staff is amazing!!! Can't say enough about how great they are!!! Thank you!! Safe, clean, comfy bed, good water pressure & plenty of hot water, good location, parking garage, Nice to have the cafe in the lobby.

Pricey parking in their garage!! Lobby is hot & strong odor from air freshener. Glass shower door oddly place next to toilet, could not open it very far at all. I'm 5'5 135 lbs and could barely squeeze in, very weird!

The hotel is an excellent choice for anybody who wants to discover the real Alicante. Based in the north western region of the city, it is very convenient location to discover shops and also the beach . The hotel is based in the mainly Spanish part of the city where you can experience proper Spanish culture, including great bars, restaurants and nightlife . Many residents live around this area and the area is very safe.
