From the moment we arrived we were made very welcome. The facilities were better than I expected. The entire staff that were there were extremely helpful with all that we asked them for. We had to leave early every morning, Jemma and Claudia were fantastic and arranged a taxi for us every morning also a packed breakfast to take with us, nothing was too much trouble, they were also very informative regarding locations of places to go etc! Overall a fantastic hotel in a great location, will definitely use this again. Again thank you Claudia and Jemma!

It was our first time in Alicante but certainly not our last. The location of the hotel was excellent, close to the city centre and beach. We arrived in the evening after a day of travelling and the young girl in the reception was very pleasant, welcoming, and helpful. Every time we came back to hotel it was nice to see her warm smile, she was always happy to help and chat. The buffet breakfast was great with rolls, bread, pastries, ham, cheese, yogurts, cereal, eggs, tomatoes, fruits, tea, coffee, and juice to choose from. All very fresh. There were several vegetarian and gluten free options for my daughter which is often difficult to find. The lady in breakfast bar was lovely and helpful. The rooms were clean and big. We had two rooms on different floors as we did not ask in advance to be placed on the same floor. The girl in reception was very apologetic about this but we really did not mind. The rooms were cleaned daily and to a high standard. The young cleaner was very pleasant and helpful. It was not an issue to get extra towels and after asking for this on the first day, the cleaner herself then left extra towels for us each day. Our flight was in the afternoon and the we had to check out of the hotel by noon. We were able to leave our luggage at the hotel after check out which was great as we were able to go out and enjoy lunch without having to take our luggage with us. Overall, we recommend La City Estación. Perfect location, great staff, and good value for money.

The rooms were very clean but the grouting in the bathroom needs to be refreshed.

Perfect location for overnight stay and day trip to Alicante. Close to station, easy access to airport bus and short walk to the heart of the city. Staff friendly and eager to help and hearty breakfast available. The check in process was straightforward and the team were kind enough to have our room ready on arrival. Our room was clean, comfortable and with a nice en suite bathroom.

The safe was not ready for use on our arrival so valuables had to be taken with us on our trip around the city - small inconvenience. The receptionist did do his very best to reset it but was unsuccessful. We appreciated the effort to help but maybe check this is in good order before signing off the room as ready for the guest. Only a point deducted for this technical fault otherwise the stay would have been 10/10

Clean, great location (also, all car rentals were right outside the door), easy to find, good selection for breakfast, friendly staff w 24hr reception. We arrived late in the night, and check in was smooth. Due to the late check in, I called the hotel beforehand and they responded immediately and had already made note of my late arrival, since I also provided this in the booking, impressive as this is not always the case at higher end hotels). Super place for a shorter stay!

Overall it cleanliness and extra special touches to the room.

Eggs on the buffet were cold, watery and over stirred.

Really excellent hotel and great value for money , Bright , modern facilities . Immaculately clean. Beds were comfortable , rooms were spacious with everything we needed . Breakfast was good with plenty of choice . Excellent location opposite train station and bus stop for airport bus . Easy walk to all main sights and lots of cafes, bars and restaurants . Very friendly and helpful staff . especially on Reception. Definitely recommend .

Nothing - 10/10 for us

Hotel was great - rooms were clean with very comfortable bed and bathroom was well stocked with toiletries and hairdryer. Location was excellent with train station and airport bus directly across the road. The old town and sea front were a short 15 minute walk away. An added bonus was the complimentary refreshments in the lobby which were a lovely touch. Staff friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend this hotel and would happily return!

Excellent value for money hotel in the center of Alicante suitable for business or leisure. Close to train station, bus stops and the tram terminal at Luceros. Very clean and comfortable and the breakfast is a good quality buffet. Friendly and helpful staff during breakfast and check in. Rooms modern with good size bath / showers.

Everything was OK

great place for a short stay, not so close to the old centre and beach, but right beside train and bus station and bus stop for the airport. Also big shopping street right around the corner. great staff, rooms and breakfast, nice to have free coffee and water in lobby. stayed in a 3 person family room, which was great for me and my adult children.

All good, location a little far from the old part and beach but only 15 -20 min walk or so.

The room was ample in size with a lovely view across the city and to the mountains in the distance. The location was perfect for walking to shops/bars and ‘old town’ and the bus stop for Alicante Airport was 2 minute walk away. Excellent value and well worth a stay!
