Hotel Castilla took me in like I was one of their own! I loved my room, with balcony and so much sunlight, space and bath tub. They were so kind, accommodating and supportive. Very friendly staff and I felt safe and at ease here as a sola traveller. Bed was comfy, plenty of wardrobe space, so quiet during the night. I had a great stay and loved the central location and bar/restaurant below. Cleaners were wonderful. Couldn’t rave more! Gracias!

A nice hotel room ,amazing for the price. A very popular bar and restaurant downstairs .very friendly staff that took time to help me with another booking I had. Very central location in the old town. On a main street but somehow not too loud.

The only complaint is the bar was closed Saturday night and Sunday morning so no chance for a morning coffee.

The room had previously been used by a smoker so it was really unpleasant until we opened the window. It would be great if they offered non-smoking rooms.

room window opened to inner well, booking room details was room with balcony, since this was for single night it wasn’t to bad, but any more days would have been bit claustrophobic.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Room very clean and hotel has a lift. Location excellent just next to the middle of town - hadn't booked parking and found it was not an easy place for me to find a parking spot at 8pm but the staff helped me, which I really appreciated. Evening meal in the restaurant to a very high standard, not much waiting at all; food and drinks served very quickly - very often asked if everything was ok. Nice Spanish breakfast, also served very quickly.

For the price there was nothing not to like, everything was far above expectation

The location was excellent, very central. The room was spacious and very clean. The bed was very comfortable and the room was warm. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was very good value for money and we would stay here again.

For a 2 star hotel it was simple and clean just how I like it. One has everything in one place. There is the accommodation, restaurant and bar and I love it.

After reading the recent reviews I was hesitant to book, however there was absolutely nothing wrong with the property for the price. The room and bathroom were very clean, just the towels are a bit old (but clean). We had a room at the back with a French balcony overlooking the pedestrian street. Check-in was fine, no information given about the surroundings etc, but we did not ask either. The location is great, in the middle of the centre. We parked our car at Calle Fresca 6A Parking lot which was free and only a 10 min walk from the hotel. Great place to stay when hiking the El Torcal park.

Was initially given a room facing a light shaft = absolutely no view. Was able to switch to a room with a balcony.

Arrived late due to flight. Parked on street. Check in went smoothly, friendly staff, very helpful. Recommended.
