We had the most wonderful stay at La Fuente del Sol! The location is absolutely stunning—surrounded by breathtaking views that made the experience so memorable. The staff went above and beyond, being incredibly friendly and helpful with every request and always greeting us with a smile. Our room was spacious, immaculately clean, and so comfortable, providing the perfect place to relax. To top it off, we were greeted with a lovely surprise—a chilled bottle of bubbly on our arrival, which made us feel truly special. Breakfast was a highlight, with a fantastic variety of fresh and delicious options that set us up perfectly for the day. La Fuente del Sol truly exceeded my expectations, and I can’t recommend it enough for anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway!

The location is lovely. Beautiful views and peaceful . It may be worth paying extra for a view across the valley. Very comprehensive breakfast. Lovely, helpful staff. Nature all around. Every morning the vultures could be seen riding the air currents above the hotel. Very spectacular. We didn't mind the 30 min drive to Antequera for some really good restaurants and tripper sightseeing. El Torcal national park within easy reach. It is spectacular.

The beds were very hard. If thinking about using the spa facilities check the prices are what you expect. We were told it was 30€ per person per hour. Hotel guests included. We were also told we had to book 24 hrs in advance. So not much spontaneous use of sauna and swim after a lovely walk in the mountains. 30 min + drive to nearest good eateries.

Charming hotel a bit away from the town of Antequera but well worth the 30 min drive. Beautiful farmland around. Lovely area to be peaceful and quiet. But close to magnificent El Torcal for a day hike. Staff were all warm and extremely friendly and went out of their way to help us when we had car troubles. Breakfast was lovely and dinner was outstanding.

Absolutely nothing

I booked the hotel only for one night, but it was too short, it is an exceptional place! I arrived late in the evening, slightly cold outside, but the fireplace was lit in the hotel, and the atmosphere was dreamlike. The food at the restaurant was super good, and the breakfast was sensational, better than many 5-star hotels! I booked a private hour at the Spa, which was a total delight. The jacuzzi was excellent, the water in the pool was warm, and the wet and dry saunas were at the right temperature. The whole atmosphere was heated by the wood stove, which gave a special charm to the Spa. Congratulations to those who built and maintain this superb hotel! Bonus, the bed is excellent🤗

This place was an absolute dream. The views, the building, THE STAFF!! The spa - the breakfast. We loved it so much we tried to stay an extra day They were incredibly LGBTQ+ friendly (cis male couple) and treated us like family. We cannot wait to go back

The Staff were all so warm and friendly. They all went out of their way to accommodate any request. The bedroom was magnificent with a gorgeous view looking towards the swimming pool and the hills. The dinner was good and the waiter was so charming and personable. When we needed to leave early to catch our flight, the reception opened extra early for us and the lovely lady there make us a breakfast to take away. All in all, we loved our very short stay and would definitely consider returning.

This hotel is in a stunning location and we enjoyed walking in the area around it. We arrived and had booked the spa and didn't realized we'd have the entire spa to ourselves. Heavenly - and with tea included! The gym was nice to have too after a long flight. The restaurant was lovely, a nice selection and they easily accommodated my gluten-free requirements. The staff were very helpful and we had an adorable waiter who took great care of us. Our bedroom was lovely and absolutely quiet.

The staff were the some of the most professional that I have seen in all the places ive travelled around the world. Starting from the booking to the front desk to the dinner service. This is what all hotels should strive to be like. They made my weekend an amazing weekend. Other hotels could learn from this team. Their attitude was all about the customer and what they wanted and they ticked every box. Well done to the management and the individuals for giving me a birthday to remember. Thank you.

I loved everything.

Great location: quiet, with superior views of the landscape, beautiful flowers in spring. You’re really surrounded by nature. Very friendly staff!! Nice restaurant (although a bit repetitive if you eat there a lot) and a superior breakfast each morning. Drinks aren’t expensive. We enjoyed the Spa as well!

If you like taking a bath, our room would’ve been great for you. Showers were a bit messier ;)

Rural character hotel, spectacular setting below Torcal Mt and a view over farmland. Competent reception, comfy bed, interesting evening menu, excellent breakfast (included in our tariff). Great fireplace in sitting room. Pool for summer season use, pleasant garden being upgraded.
