From the moment I walked in, to the moment I left, I loved everything about my stay and my room. The staff was wonderful. The building is unique, very old, and one of its kind. My room was overlooking the port with a peek out window on the top floor, which I loved. It ended up being fairly quiet, too. I loved the big tub, and the shower pressure was amazing! The oversize towel was cozy and the bed super comfortable. Plus, it was right in the heart of anything you could want. The location was fantastic. Being on the camino, it was an easy point.

If I had to pick something I didn't like... for the price of the room, it would have been nice if there was a welcome drink or breakfast included.

The most beautiful little apartment overlooking a courtyard. The heritage style building has so many gorgeous design features! We encountered two staff on reception who were so friendly, informative and understood our English perfectly. Couldn’t be happier with our stay. The room was spacious and had shutters plus windows which let in fresh air, the bath was great after a day walking on the Camino and the location was fabulous - views of the riverfront and adjacent to the alleys of restaurants and shops. We loved Olivada wine bar and the restaurant opposite which served giant steak to keep us going on the trails. There was a super cute bakery opposite and the castle was within a stone’s throw. 150% recommend!

Nothing! It was perfect. Reception gave us recommendations for local bars and restaurants too. We visited at the beginning of April so many places were not open frequently in the local area but Baiona was much more lively than the other villages and towns we’d visited en route from Porto.

The man at the reception was super lovely (I’m sorry I forgot your name) and allowed us to park our bikes in private hotel space. The beds were very comfy, the Mini bar was free and the view to the harbour gorgeous.

The hotel could be signed better. To find this place took us a while. It has a side entrance on a little square that during lunch time is busy with seatings for meals. Our mobile navigation just sent us around the block again and again.

I had a standard double room on the 3rd floor. It is a historical stone building in a great location of Baiona. Breakfast was not included but the restaurant on the first floor offered toast, coffee and orange juice served breakfast and did not charge. Loved it. Coffee maker, electric kettle. A bus stop in front of the hotel which takes you to Vigo by paying €2.50

it would very nice to include breakfast in the price Wish bathroom was more upgraded

Great location on seafront on edge of old town. Lovely Balcony with table and chairs overlooking lively area - but 3 sets of doors/shutters blocked out noise :) Beautiful lobby area from original building. Lovely smell in lobby area. Helpful, friendly staff. Kettle in the room a real bonus - thank you.

Unfortunately my room had a strong smell of drains when I arrived. The first evening/morning internet access was constantly buffering. Staff reset the Wi-Fi when I told them about this. Unfortunately, some hairs (not mine) in bath.

A gorgeous hotel in a beautiful building. The room and general hotel decor was fabulous - very much a boutique hotel vibe with lovely touches such as a little bag of sweets left for us on the bed. The room was a good size, the receptionist José lovely and the hotel is in a fantastic location opposite the harbour and facing a lovely square.

Unfortunately I didn't sleep well at all due to the noise from the square that the hotel overlooks. Thumping music from a local bar until around 2am, then the general noise from people talking and drinking until around 4.30am. It's such a shame because the hotel is really beautiful but the noise impacted on our stay. The hotel had left earplugs in the room, presumably for this reason.

The welcome by the receptionist was warm and friendly. She also arranged for a taxi to take me to Vigo the next morning. The hotel is housed in a 300 year old building that has been beautifully re-modeled. Gorgeous setting. The room was large and clean. The bathroom was also clean with modern fixtures. For dinner I went to the restaurant next door; excellent food and staff. The Pazo Mendoza was one of the top two stays in my Camino from Porto to Baiona.

A boutique hotel in a beautiful historical building from the 17th century, providing, however, all the comfort. It is right in front of the port and two steps from the historical center, the rooms are cozy, the beds comforable and the sea views stunning. We definitely recommend!

There is no elevator, which might be problematic for people with reduced mobility, but was not a problem for us.

This hotel is just gorgeous, quiet and has everything I need. The bed was super comfortable, there was a kettle in the room, the temperature was perfect. I loved staying here after two long days of work. Besides, it is very central so you can make the best of your time.

It did not really affect me personally but they do not have a 24/7, and breakfast starts a bit late, but they have come to an agreement with another cafeteria down the road to have breakfast there from 7.30 onwards.
