i liked that the room had its own shower and toilet, rather than shared with the whole corridor. i was also able to do a late check in after 11Pm, its value for money in terms of what you get. breakfast had a nice spread considering its a hostel. the locker for each bed is quite spacious! Luggage room also available. for a overnight stay it was a great cheap option for a bed, shower and breafkast before continuing travels.
Nothing specifically but there is no lobby for socialising per se, like in some hostels where you find a games room etc, the reception area is the hangout area aswell.

The properties location is really good, not in town but by a few bus stations which was great for us - also quiet at night time! Breakfast was really great, lots of options available. Rooms were clean and comfortable. There was also a mini supermarket around the corner which we used on a few occasions!
There were alot of pigeons in the outdoor area so it would be difficult to enjoy breakfast outside. We had also had some travellers check into our dorm rooms at 3:30am, i understand they have 24 hour check in but there should be some type of rules or considerations given for minimal lights and sound. The images make it look like a social hostel but its quite quiet and most people keep to themselves, this would be a plus for most people but for us we would’ve liked to chat.

The location is not far from barcelona sants, the room had included facilities, which may be good or bad depending on the number of people in the room as always they don't have a place to arrange your clothes so in the wet season you will have trouble drying it, dunno how about hot sesson but they have AC, your bed comes with power plug, usb socket and light the bathroom was big but the shower had extremely awkward tape you had to constantly push for more water and it was fixed on the wall very inconveniently so you have to dance around it to spray with water your entire body, there was liquid soap, towels are not included what i appreciated was the big lockers (two big backpacks fitted well) with a magnetic tablet-like key that also worked for a door) I bought breakfast included and recommend doing it for everybody), they sent a nice message on the day i was leaving, so that if i don't have the time to eat (kitchen opens st 7-30), the may give me takeaway Also they have a kitchen where you can cook for yourself, it has two stoves, two microwave ovens and two fridges, plus plenty of room and works till 23-00, its a bit lacking on pans, but because very few people use it, its fine

There is a large lockable draw under the beds which was great for luggage. Shower was good if a little annoying, it has a push button so you have to push it in every minute or the water turns off. Included breakfast of cereal, fruit, bread and sliced meats was decent.
No curtain on individual beds for privacy and sleeping. We don't have 'youth' hostels in Australia, I didn't realise it meant there would be busloads of children staying at the hostel. Also no food or drinks allowed in the rooms seems excessive, makes sense if it's kids but at 31?

The man who was in the reception on 10.05 (the night in between 10 and 11) made all the difference here. He answered my questions about my early check out, prepared snacks for us as we were leaving ealier and when I thought I had lost my glasses he did everything he could to help - till he finally found it (it was in the middle of the bedlinen that he kindly got with me as the blue place to put it wasn't in my floor to leave it there as requested.) He was way better than the girls that work there during the day. But far better! (The girls were fine, everything ok, but he really raised the bar). 5 starts to him! Also, It's not in the city center but it's close and well connected. The breakfast was pretty good for a hostel in my opinion. There were shower and toilet in the bedroom + toilets in the common area. Fair space.
Well, we had the worse roommates those days and of course it's not the Hostel's fault. However, it would have been not that bad as it was if there were bed's curtains - it would have helped a lot.

We booked a Family room for 6 people, and it was privatized for us. We even had 2 extra beds with no additional charge, which helped a lot as an extra storage space. Also, we got towels included in the price for booking a family room (otherwise we would pay 4 euros per person for towels rent). It was acceptably clean, and garbage was taken from the room every day by staff. Breakfast was also included, simple, but enough, and a good coffee was the part of the breakfast too.
There is not even one small table in the room, which was inconvenient for us, we wanted to have wine in the room from time to time, but no space to put our glasses on. Also, there were no hangers in the room at all, and we had winter jackets which were hard to fold in the lockers under the bed. One of us missed her sport tights when packing things at the end of the stay, we cannot claim they were stolen, but, just in case, lock your things in the lockers, we didn't (privatized room, we didn't think we need to).

- Good location; if you come from the airport, just get off at the Maria Cristina metro station (the hostel is less than 1 km away), if you go to the airport, just go to the Zona Universitaria metro station (about 2 km away from the hostel) - There are power plugs on each bed (one for charger and one for USB cable) - Comfortable beds and mattresses - There is a good toilet inside the room (an important point, the shower is good) - Breakfast is good and varied - Professional and regular cleaning - Helpful staff
- The most negative and annoying point: the AC (although effective, it's quite noisy all night) - A lot of youth at the moment I went (mid-July), it felt like a summer camp school

First off, the front desk staff was excellent - professional, yet friendly, and very helpful in giving directions to local destinations. Juan was especially kind to this age 65-plus traveler. The breakfast was fresh and plentiful while the staff was quite helpful. Overall, it was a terrific experience. Two "thumbs up."
The only negative, which was really just a small inconvenience, was that the front desk staff was unable to exchange bills for coins for the vending machines, which only took coins. Again, a small inconvenience.

The staff and the people in my room were friendly, the breakfast was nice. The location isn't central, but there is a big mall on the other side of the street, and a bus stop very close to the hostel, and since Barcelona has great public transport even at night, the location wasn't a downside.
The check in process is really long, so you have to wait a while if there are people in front of you. Otherwise, it's a youth hostel, so it has all the expected downsides of a hostel (people arriving back to their room late, no privacy curtains on beds, etc.) Also, our bathroom door didn't have a lock, but it wasn't an issue as we let each other know when we'd be using it.

Inside the room was a toilet separate from the shower; quiet footlockers; individual power outlet; strong WiFi throughout; and large guest kitchen. The hostel is short walking distance from Numancia tram stop (and longish walking distance straight up from Sants Station). The inclusive breakfast is worthwhile despite the overcooked mini croissants :) I really liked the coffee machine which offered a selection of hot drinks. The hostel has ample lobby sitting and ground floor terrace.
The individual nightlight projects straight out from the wall and since the beds have no privacy curtains this "reading light" was the furthest thing from private. The room only had one chair and no coat hooks.
