the warmth of the people in the reception - they are all very accommodating. spacious room, they even gave us room for 3 pax. They clean the room everyday. Breakfast was good, just as what expected.

the nearest Metro which is not that useful when it comes to directing you to good places in Barcelona or wherever you go. They don't replenish bottles of water - free bottle of water will only be on your first day.

The staff were friendly and helped us check in early as we arrived around 11ish. We loved the colour all the rooms, they were very spacious and the beds were super comfy too. We had an issue with the sink in one of the rooms and the reception staff took note and it was solved for us coming back from our day out. There are a few local bakeries near by that do delicious pastries. Location is about 20 minute walk from la rambla but there is lots to see on the way with lots of bars and restaurants on route too! Would definitely stay here again!

Room was clean, spacious, relatively quiet, and well decorated. Reception folks were very nice and would not let me in or out of the hotel without exclaiming "Hola!" ;-) I had two separate bookings but they were nice enough to combine them for me for the same room. I didn't do the breakfast so can't comment.

My room was facing a busy street so there was some noise even with a closed window, but really nothing too distracting. My main issue was that there was no lamp next to bed to enable reading (there is a lamp but it's facing another way), so I couldn't really read in bed. So would've loved some more lighting options.

Location, Abanic Restaurant next to the hotel has the most delicious food in the whole Barcelona, room was clean, lift was fast, you could find anything that you needed as a one time usage pack, like a comb, toothbrush, shower hat, shaving pack...the staff were all so friendly and supportive, the bed on the terrace was a great idea.

The swimming pool on the terrace wasn't completely full because of that every morning or better to say every midnight for changing the water it made a bad noise. It was really nerving. I mean when the hole which the water should go through is not covered with the water, when it sucks the water it makes sounds I will attach the photo. Because the water couldn't go through the hole, of course on the third day the water was really dirty and wasn't filtered. As for suggestions, a toilet brush was necessary, I know everyday we had room service but still a toilet brush wouldn't be bad. We had all the needed packages like toothbrush, ear swabs..., just lotion was missing.

The location was amazing, so close to great eateries and didn't feel too busy or too isolated. It was walking distance to some of the hop on hop off bus points and after exploring the rest of Barcelona we definitely felt like we were in the best spot. Staff were legends, super helpful and always so friendly. Facilities were brilliant. Well and truly worth booking

A window with a view would be amazing but absolutely not a deal breaker. We still had a window with natural light coming in and all the positives outweigh this tiny little "want". Everything we needed was there.

We stayed in Allegro Barcelona for a week First, the reception. Erika was very nice and welcoming, she gave us information about the city attractions and the surrounding restaurants and some good places to go. The hotel was clean and modern, our room view was on the street and it was very nice ( I saw a few rooms that overlook the inner side of the hotel and I think you should request a room with a view) The bed was very comfortable and we slept like babies. Within a walking distance there were plenty of good brunch shops and restaurants.

The shower door is transparent, so keep that in mind if you’re traveling with someone else. Also, the walls are not soundproof and you can hear the person in the toilet or the shower loud and clear lol

We really loved this place. It’s centrally located, only three blocks from Barcelona’s Casa Battlo and La Pedreir. Only 1 minute walk from the metro station. There’s many restos/cafes beside the hotel and down the street all within 1-2 minute walk. Accessible to everything. Grocery store in front of the buildings which is so convenient for buying basic stuff. Airport is about 25 mins to city centre by cab. Place was very clean and spacious. We got even another small bed for an extra person but we didn’t need it. I love the music playing when we came in the door. It’s a busy street outside but we really never had an issue with the noise. It was a good stay. I’ll recommend the place. Towels/beddings/bed were soft, clean and comfortable. The place was safe even at night. Staff are very friendly. Was an easy check in. There were cup cakes and chocolate bars and candies as a welcome for our stay. I love that! There’s available breakfast for 11 euro if you wish. Washroom was spacious as well, however we didn’t have a hook to hang our used wet towels after every bath. Overall it was a really nice stay. I would stay here again if we ever come back to Barcelona.

I really enjoyed my stayed at Allegro, not only is located is a central point of Barcelona but also the staff are absolutely friendly! Need to mention Xavi & Nacho and all the staff at the reception! The ladies at the breakfast room and cleaners were always smiling and nice to us! Perfect size room, comfortable bed, shower and bathroom great, is definitely a place to stay again! Breakfast has plenty of options!

Everything was great

Lots of restaurant choices in the neightborhood, as well as little supermarkets. Also, location is convenient to Metros and the Eixample neighborhood. Breakfast was good enough for us Americans but somewhat overpriced (13€ per person). Hence we only ate there on 1 of our 4 days. Hotel staff was consistently friendly and helpful!

We didn't like the bed pillows at all! They were like 42 inches long, very heavy, and very thick. Also didn't like that our "king" bed was 2 twins pushed together with separate linens and a big crack between. Not a fan of the smallish sink in the bathroom or the big towel bar placement on the front side of it. Also didn't like the lobby furniture; the chairs were these roly-poly things that put you about 6 inches off the floor. Not inviting or the easiest for older guests to get in and out of!

Definitely recommend! The room was absolutely comfortable and clean, with great bluetooth sound system. The bathroom was also spotless, and was kept that way as cleaning service came every day. Excellent location: 2 min walk to Provença station and 10 min walk to Diagonal metro station. Countless restaurants, bars, bakeries, stores in walking distance. A supermarket just across the street. Great breakfast with a variety of sweet and savoury choices, fruit, cereal, yoghurt, fresh juices. They even prepared a picknick pack for us when we had to leave early and did not make it to breakfast. They also have a luggage room, where you can put your luggage if you arrive early and your room is not ready yet. Most friendly and helpful staff ever!!!! They truly went above and beyond to solve any issue, that occured. Your whole team is great, thank you for everything!

The Wi-Fi only worked in a certain part of the room. It worked well in the hallways and the breakfast room, though. It is a bit dark in the entire hotel (except maybe for the reception hall), a few more lights would be great – nothing major, more of a personal preference.
