The property was located near a bustling intersection that provided a diverse variety of restaurants. The inside is charming and artfully decorated. Our room included a small balcony facing the street with a view. The room was substantially large, spotless and bright; surpassed our exceptions given other European vacations. The breakfast buffet is delightful and stocked with a generous offering beyond pastries. We were warmly greeted and the attention when needed was timely. We would return for a future visit.

This is not a dislike but it’s important to know the hotel has a small sign by the door which could easily be overlooked. For Americans, important to know that you’ll take a small European style elevator or stairs to the main lobby.

The breakfast was amazing and one of the best hotel breakfasts we’ve ever had. Even though our room looked out onto the street the soundproofing was wonderful and it was very quiet. The location is wonderful, just off the north end of La Rambla. Access to the metro is right across the street.

I always hate when people say there was nothing they didn’t like but here it is really hard to find anything so I will nitpick. The handle on the inside of the shower door was broken. It didn’t bother us at all.

We enjoyed the central location near Diagonal and L’Eixample. We spent time exploring the streets and finding several good places to eat. We went to Vivo Tapas twice and also really liked Abanic, both within two blocks of the hotel. We were within walking distance of La Pedrera and Casa Batllo. We did longer walks to Parc Guell, Sagrada Familia, La Rambla and Gothic Quarter, and took the funicular up to Montjuic. What a beautiful city! The Museo Picasso and Casa Batllo were highlights for our two teens, as well as the hotel breakfast which was packed with yogurt, fruit, juice, pastries, cheese, and coffee by order. The rooms were large and the beds were comfortable. The front staff, who also help with breakfast, were very nice and helpful. They helped us navigate around the city and were always willing to let us play cards in the breakfast room or order a coffee later in the day.

We could hear and feel the metro going below us late at night and early in the morning. Even a sound machine didn’t block it out. But we got used to it after a few nights. There were some broken tiles on the far edges of the floor in the rooms, but the main floor and walls themselves were very pretty.

Arriving afterhours, tired from a long flight, the link and instructions to access our rooms worked perfectly. Well done!! Fresh tasty breakfast well presented. Extra was having our coffee order taken and served at our table! Special breakfast boxes made and delivered the night before for when we had early morning plans before breakfast was served!! So thoughtful. The beds and pillows were so comfortable! We awoke refreshed and ready to explore the city the next day! All the staff were friendly and most helpful. We felt very welcomed. We give Forget Me Not our highest recommendations!

The room was really quite large and well equipped. Clean and comfortable. We loved the location, plenty of great restaurants in the area. Although the walk to some of the areas (Old Town, Sagrada, Port area) were a bit long, it was quite easy to walk to all these areas and there was always something interesting to see along the way.

As the hotel is not on the ground floor of the building and there are no large signs, it was a bit of a mystery getting in initially, but the welcome more than compensated for the small amount of unease. A couple of nights we experienced a bit of street noise, but we were staying over a festival weekend.

The hotel was fairly easy to find and the instructions sent by staff were clear and easy to follow ( it comes in handy especially when you check in outside the hotel’s business hours). The facilities were excellent, clean room with plenty of space and of course air conditioning was a life saver. Breakfast was amazing, had an excellent variety of savoury and sweet, fresh fruits and vegetables, cheeses, omelettes, boiled eggs, yoghurt, croissants etc. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful with a special mention to Rose who went the extra mile every time. Rose made us feel very welcome and ensured that we enjoyed our stay. Rose gave us some tips of how to get around the city and even organised a to go breakfast pack as we were checking out early in the morning. Couldn’t thank her enough for her amazing work! I strongly recommend this place and would definitely book again when returning to Barcelona. Thank you team Forget me not Barcelona!

All was good

We arrived early, but it was not a problem. We were able to leave our luggage while our room was being made ready. In the meantime, the management was very helpful in providing directions to the major attractions in the hotel area. The transfer point for the Red and Blue lines for the Hop-on-Hop-off Buses is just two blocks away, making it easy to see all the major sites. The hotel is in a lively but safe area, and just a few blocks away are museums and an upscale shopping district. Breakfast was delicious, with an excellent variety to choose from.

We have no complaints. Everything was great.

It’s a pearl in the middle of Barcelona. Really close to main attractions (everything in walking distance, we did not use metro) and different shops and very good restaurants (Vivo, La selva, La Palmera, Cerveceria Catalania etc). Breakfast was also pleasant and coffee tasty. Especially big praise goes to the cleaning service, bc they cleaned our room everyday and dit it with the utmost care. Room was really clean. And as for finding the hotel, if you read the guide sent by the hotel, keep your eyes open and read the signs on the door, it's very easy to find.

Location is perfect, walking distance from all the major sights. It's very convenient to get everywhere from the hotel. The staff is super friendly and helpful. There is a possibility to make yourself a coffee in the breakfast space throughout the whole day. Hotel's design is lovely, it fits perfectly in such a historic building. The room was very clean, the bed and pillows very comfortable. Also the room was cleaned and amenities were refreshed every day. Overall, we are very pleased with our stay and it's definitely great value for money.

The only thing that could be improved is breakfast. It would be nice to have a bigger variety of eggs like an omelette or scramble, as only boiled eggs were available. We also read a couple of comments that you can feel metro train when it's moving, but it's not the flaw of the hotel as you can feel it in many parts of the city. Also it's very slight and you barely notice it once you get used to it.

This was a quaint little boutique hotel in the heart of Barcelona. The decor was neat and well done. The rooms were very big and the beds were comfy. The bathroom was roomy. Everything was very clean and comfortable. The AC worked great! The breakfast spread was wonderful!

The location was fine. But finding the hotel is a little tricky. It looks like you are entering a residential building and the hotel access is on the 2nd floor. But once you know where you are going its fine.
