The location is right in the center of the city, on Las Ramblas, 1 block to subway. The rooms are super clean. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very nice. Location was quiet.

Furnishings in the room are very simple and the bed wasn't very comfortable. Looked a bit like a university dorm room. Towels are a bit thin, but they worked just fine. Amenities (shampoo, soap) were basic. I would stay here again because the location and staff are wonderful. They could use a better mattress in the room I booked.

The location is perfect on La Rambla. Even though street construction is going on along La Rambla, it’s still so easy to get everywhere you want to go from the Hotel. The metro is very close & everything is walkable. There’s a great plaza around the corner with bars & restaurants & a convenience supermarket around the other corner. We enjoyed the salon/living room area in the evenings with the balconies overlooking all the action. There’s a 24-hour reception desk, and the staff were very friendly & professional. The included breakfast was good & had a very large variety of items available. There’s an elevator & the room had very good AC. Our room was very comfortable with a double bed & a twin. The bathroom was the only “interesting” thing we had to deal with (room 214), since you have to walk up some stairs to get to it & then the bathroom inside the room is then down a set of marble stairs. It’s a wonderful bathroom with shower, sink, toilet & bidet, but be very careful with those 3am potty visits! Our family was in 215 & that was a level room without the climb. Finding a taxi to the airport was easy, since they are always up & down La Rambla & you just wave at them to pull over at one of the crossovers. Taxi to the airport was approx €30. We highly recommend staying at this hotel & will definitely stay there when we return to BCN.

The stairs up & down to the bathroom in room 214 was awkward, but we understand old buildings have quirks :) Request a level room if that would be an issue.

This hotel was situated right in the center of all the tourist activity. We were able to walk to most places we visited during our stay. The breakfast was really good. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean, and the "maid service" of this hotel was just as often and just as good as most cruise ships. Whenever we go back to Barcelona, we will be staying here again. We were pleasantly surprised to discover that right behind this hotel is a square/plaza that was full of AFFORDABLE eatery type restaurants. We ate our last meal of each day there EVERY night of our stay, and some lunches too. Also, we were just a 2minute walk from one of the tours we did, which was a Paella Cooking Class which I (the husband) was not initially very enthused about when my wife wanted to go, but it turned out to be a great and interesting experience with good food and the good company of others doing the same tour. I would recommend that (the one where you go to the market and shop for the items you cook at the beginning of the tour).

The breakfast was good, staff was very-very-very friendly and always hepful. Room was clean and the location was perfect ( streets were getting full of weird people later in the night but it's not the hotel's fault ).

Some furniture and the TV needs to be replaced as they're pretty old, some towels were a bit smelly but we replaced them, we missed slippers but they provided some later. In my opining these are small things that get easily fixed, so in the big picture can't complain about anything. We wanted somewhere to shower, sleep, and have easy access to everything, so that's exactly what we got. Thank you !

We chose this hotel for its outstanding location on the Rambla down towards the seafront. We expected that location, and the price we paid, meant some compromise on comfort or whatever, but that turned out not to be the case. All was good. The bathroom was excellent, not at all what one expects in an old building. Our room was on the side with the window opening to a covered walkway. Reasonably quiet. We thought the breakfast very good, with a lot of choice and everything of good quality. The staff was friendly and helpful.

A bit of competition for the elevator. Our room was on the first floor, which turned out to be three floors up from the reception, but the lovely old staircase was always a treat; we only used the elevator with luggage.

Nothing as much problems. Quite good for the price paid. In center to access public transport and to visit many attractions.

Drinking water was cheap enough where there is a 24/7 supermarket just nearby but hotel told nothing available in nights, we were forced to buy 2€ per liter of water.( As it was already 12am we didn't had option we thought. We were tired enough to google too). Never depend on receptionist as they are not truth to the customers. Just google in well hand before.

The bed and shower, the friendly staff, and the price/quality relation. For the price you pay you have a real good room, even though it looks a bit dated. Also, the breakfast was really nice and cozy - despite being simple.

On my last night someone tried to enter my room and woke me up. I know it's not the hotel's fault - but it was the 1st time this ever happened to me.

The location of the hotel is perfect, but I must say that the staff is the best part: they're incredibly nice and really go far and beyond to meet all of your needs! The rooms are okay, good value for money I would say, maybe a bit small and old-fashion but I honestly didn't mind. The bathrooms have soap/shampoo and a toothbrush set as well as a small fridge. The breakfast is abundant and they have quite some options. The breakfast rooms has small balconies with a nice view of Rambla. Metro Liceu is very close-by as well as supermarkets, restaurants and other shops. Commuting from/to the airport takes approx. 40 mins.

What an awesome place in Las Ramblas. Awesome breakfast and super helpful staff. Metro is close (Liceu) and can get to almost anywhere in Barcelona from here. Walkable to beach (20-25minutes) lots of activities and food options available around the hotel. Our room 210 was super quiet and my kids were able to get a good night sleep. Needed an early breakfast one of the days and the waiter made sure we got to eat early and take some stuff with us. Stayed 7th-10th August 2024.
