This is not the Hilton , but who cares , perfect location, accommodating staff, comfortable bed , great price !

Nothing we didn’t like , but word of caution, if your at front of hotel you will hear street noise , especially at 3am when Irish pub gets out , we actually loved the singing by all the bar patrons

I liked to hotel, terrace was absolutely amazing! I chose this hotel because of the terrace view and it met expectations. Location was great, hotel is at Rambla street and I liked it. Breakfast is ok, good enough. Staff is really polite. There is a storage room that you can use for free and 2 euros charge if you want lockers, what is affordable. In general I was happy with my choice.

I was aware of hotel disadvantages, I saw that some rooms are modern and some not. My room was not renovated, but it wasn't so bad, it was clean. I missed bathroom hangers, iron and kettle, that would make my experience better.

I never cease wonder how/why people (including me, of course) give credit to opinions/comments on stays at hotels. I have read lousy comments on this hotel, including noise from the Metro (?); noise from some neighbouring flamenco joint; dirt everywhere (?) and the like. I honestly understand that if you would have liked the odd cooked breakfast, then you were disappointed. Whether most of these complaints are valid obviously depends on the location of your room - that might even include cleanliness: maybe my floor was perfect while others grimy (??). To sum it up: I had a great stay in a cozy room (whose size was quite OK for myself), and it was one of my best hotel experiences. And because this was my first time in Barcelona (and Spain), I really appreciated everything. My advice: ask them to send you a photo of your room; info on where it is (facing the street?); on the elevator situation, the wi-fi situation (working fine in this case) etc etc. My room was one of the few (six, I understand) that have a terrace not just a balcony. The photo was taken of the palace just at the back of the hotel, right from the terrace (you can see the railing).

Great location right on the famous La Rambla street, close to both the center and the beach. Many restaurants on every corner, shops, etc. Great breakfast excellent, we liked it very much. We were very satisfied. If we were to return, we would definitely stay in this hotel again. I highly recommend it.

we missed the minibar in the rooms (kettle, coffee and tea). It would fit in the room. Because when he needs to rest or sit on the balcony/terrace and watch people on the street and you don't have anything warm to drink, e.g. coffee.

Location was great, breakfast was excellent with many choices though did not change for the 6 days- for us this was not an issue as we enjoyed each day. The staff worked very hard in their roles and food was always plentiful. We played cards in the dining area on a rainy day and had great fun. Thank you

As mentioned perhaps some variety though for us this was excellent as it was. It was quite noisy (screaming, chanting, beeping)every night until 0615 - there is nothing anyone could do about that but just a fact of the location

The highlights here are the location, the staff, and the breakfast. Check-in was very easy with friendly, positive staff. Once settled, you're right in the heart of town. The hotel is directly on La Rambla and very close to Palau Güell, a highlight of our trip. The large dining room and well stocked breakfast was a perfect way to start the day. Rooms can be quite large and have good views, but those vary around the property.

During our visit there were problems with the second elevator, which sometimes made getting luggage to the upper floors a bit challenging. One of our rooms had three beds, which could be handy but also made that room difficult to navigate. A bathroom ceiling also made an odd noise when the door was being closed, like a loose fitting panel that was too loud to comfortably use at night. All in all, room for improvement, but nothing that would prevent us from returning.

Perfect location along La Rambla, right next door to Tablao. Spacious room and bathroom. Housekeeping was daily. 24 hr reception and they were very helpful. Working elevator. But very slow. They have a scale to weigh luggage’s and luggage store room that is very secure. This was great as we were flying out of Barcelona and lucked out having the scales to weight luggage after a 12 week trip.

Very noisy. Our room felt like it was the centre of all plumbing in the hotel. We could hear every toilet flush and shower during all hours. Also being next door to a Tablao we could hear all the stomping from flamenco dancers at all hours of the night. Could have more updated amenities.

The central location of this hotel is the best. We’ve been to Barça for the third time and always stayed at La Rambla, but this hotel beats the previous one with the location (and the price). The rooms are OK, could use renovation. Rooms on the 8th floor are nicer and more freshly done than those on the 9th floor. We LOVED the terrace and would chose this hotel again only because of the it! The combination of the location and the terrace is impossible to beat, especially for the money.

Our room (909) could use a little TLC. Bathroom tiles were holding for dear life, please repare them! Could be dangerous. The room on the 8th floor our friends stayed at was much prettier and newer, however their terrace faced the back of the building, our room faced La Rambla, which was extremely cool, so not mad at the room at all. Also, the breakfast could use a bit of an upgrade (more vegetables and at least boiled eggs).
