Loved how near it was to the beach and a big sopping centre with shops/supermarkets The pool was great for a nice swim, and the roof top had AMAZING views. We didn't have breakfast, but it looked great, and the hotel was only a few stops into the centre. So we felt like we had the best of both worlds with the beach, and the city. We often went to the beach after a long day exploring and it was the perfect end to the day. Metro is about a 10 minutes walk from the hotel, and a further 10/15 into the centre. There are also trams, and buses - one ticket can cover them all and its cheap. The local beach is friendly, not as busy as the main harbour one and its very easy to sit and relax on. We both swam and left our stuff with no trouble at all, there was lots of families and even a dog section, which was very funny to watch them. Beach is about 15 minutes walk from the hotel, you pass Condal Mar - a huge shopping centre, we often stopped by Alcampo a supermarket to get picnic bits for dinner on the beach. The staff we so helpful and friendly, and the room was spotless clean and comfy. I would 100% stay here again, it was exactly what we wanted after a long day.

Not much, but we'd have liked the pool to open earlier and close later, and for there to be more seating up there. We also couldn't get the safe to work, but that wasn't an issue in the end. The hotel isn't very near to many independent restaurants/bars - we had to go into the centre to find those, which meant we didn't get to be at the pool/beach in the evenings.

The location was out of the way so not much around but this was beneficial as it was very quiet, no street noise. We all slept well. The staff were lovely, spoke great English. My son particularly liked Francisco and Jesus. The hotel was modern and clean with everything we needed. The pool was too cold to swim in or else we would have as it looked wonderful. The food was perfect, huge breakfast selection and GF options. It was easy to get to in a taxi from the airport. Within walking distance were a few basic restaurants, supermarket and shopping centre. We walked to the beach in around 15 minutes.

The two single beds pushed together moved apart in the middle. That's literally all we can think of!

We were allocated the exact room that we booked, I know I have read reviews where this hasn't happened before. It was identical to the photos. Very spacious. Two bathrooms (one with toilet, basin, shower and a bath and a separate one with just a toilet and basin). We had a large family room, including a king size bed, a double sofa bed and an additional single bed. There was a dining table and 4 chairs, flatscreen TV, fridge and plenty of lights and sockets! The staff were exceptional, and the room service was incredible. Roof bar and pool both beautiful too. Our rooms were always made up perfectly. Three lifts so you never had to wait for long for an elevator. We can't fault the hotel or its staff at all. Food was delicious too. Taxi rank right outside the door. Perfect!

Some may argue its a little too far away from the centre. It requires a taxi to get to, or a decent hours stroll. We walked it one day but took to taxis for the rest. We like hotels out of the way as they're quieter and it's easier for the children to sleep so we knew this prior to our visit, but some may see it as a negative. We also visited tibidabo and illa fantasia while we were there so the location was central for us but if you're solely going to be in Barcelona City centre it is a little far out to just walk to.

Smoothies were tasty, the rooftop was great to relax in, eat, swim, sunbathing and a nice atmosphere in the evening for drinks before going out. Breakfast had a great selection including hot waffles with syrup, mediterranean/continental breakfast selection and fresh croissants, juices and fruits. The location was also great as only 5-10mins walk to shops and the beach, the harbour and city centre is further away but only cost between 10 - 20 euros to get to you location.

Taxi's are hard to get so I'd highly recommend asking the hotel to call one for you I think we managed to hail one successfully our whole holiday and some do seem to charge more than others apart from that there's nothing to complain about staying in this hotel and visiting Barcelona in general it's just as beautiful as I imagined and I can't wait to return

I couldn't have asked for a better hotel experience! The staff at the front desk was absolutely amazing. Upon our late arrival from the airport, Froi was incredibly welcoming and friendly towards my mother and me. He even recommended the in-house bar and restaurant, which we decided to try out. And let me tell you, it did not disappoint! The food was incredibly tasty, and we were pleasantly surprised by the midnight closing time. However, when we arrived at the bar, we were a bit disheartened to find that some of the menu items were already sold out. But then we were fortunate enough to meet Francisco, who turned out to be an absolute gem of a person! He treated us like we were old friends and helped us order some truly delicious food and drinks. On the day of my birthday, Carlos and Francisco were working at the bar. They went above and beyond to make me feel special by creating the most amazing cocktail I've ever had. The two of them had such great chemistry and were so much fun to be around! And to top it all off, when I returned to my room, I was delighted to find a lovely birthday card and balloon and a little cake waiting for me. I'm sure it must have been from Froi. Housekeep and Front Desk, thanks for the sweet surprise and drinks. I can't thank Froi, Carlos, Francisco and the rest of the Hotel Barcelona Condal Mar staff enough for making my birthday weekend absolutely unforgettable. Muchas gracias amigos por todo, un abraso

While the room sizes may not be spacious, they are certainly adequate for a short weekend stay. However, what truly sets this place apart is the incredible rooftop area. The views are simply breathtaking, and it's the perfect spot to unwind and take in the scenery. Just be aware that the wind can pick up at times, so bring a light jacket or sweater if you plan to spend some time up there.

The staff are all lovely and it's a well presented hotel, rooms are nice and spacious with good bathroom as well.

The pool is only open from 12 noon - 8pm so not good if you're visiting as a tourist and we're looking to use it before/after sight seeing, so we were disappointed by that. There is no iron/ironing board in the room. The cleaning staff took away and replaced the eco toothbrush provided after 1 day, which seems to defeat the purpose of the eco-friendly.

The property itself was a nice design, look modern and the pool upstairs was nice to cool down in, handy to have the rooftop bar too. Rooms were big and beds were comfortable. The distance is far from city yes, but this is what you see when you book the property so I don’t understand why people complain.

The bathtub in room 208 was damaged making it look dirty. Also the floor was a little dirty upon entry to the room(hairs etc). Food in hotel very expensive. Otherwise everything great.

The hotel was in a great location for the CCIB congress centre. It was also a short walk to the beach and shopping centre. The room was a great size and was fully equipped with a mini fridge, hair dryer and lots of plug sockets. The breakfast was AMAZING with lots of choice both hot and cold and the hotel staff were beyond amazing and were so helpful in every situation

The hotel complimentary Wi-Fi was not great, i ended up hot spotting to my phone but i believe you can pay for a better connection

Modern hotel

4 star hotel and no mirror in the room, no bin other than the one in the toilette, no kettle. When I asked for kettle, I have been told that only premium rooms have it. Very expensive hotel for 3 nighs but Barcelona hotels are exoensive

Nice hotel clean lobby beautiful made up - amazing breakfast!!!! Very fresh and good variety - nice swimming pool and view - room was big with good bathroom and big closed

Location was terrible very far from subway nothing in the area , dodgy people on the street not safe at night - pool area over crowded and bar food was not very tasty for the money - fortunate of the room was a bit out dated and the shower it self also -
