We liked being in a very convenient location. Metro station Parallel 3' from the hotel and a great pedestrian road with numerous bars,restaurants!!!! Zodiaco was our favourite. A Carrefour supermarket right on the corner!!!! The bed was king size , air conditioned room, a fridge!!!and the staff helpful.

We asked for a wake up call at 5.45 a.m on a Thursday but we never got one.SOS!!!! Fortunately we had thought of a second call , so as to go to the airport in time. The hairdrier never worked properly and the next door guests were heard ......probably due to poor insulation in our room. The windows were dirty and the lamps over the bedside tables were covered in dust!!!!!!!

I stayed there from November 8-15, 2024. I was in a single room, which was well equipped. Even though the hotel is being renovated, it didn't bother me at all. The staff are wonderful and helpful. The location is great and the nearby metro (L3 & L2) takes you quickly throughout the city. The El Poble sec district is lively with many hidden culinary delights. Go discover them! For music lovers: P62 and Apollo are around the corner on Paral-lel. Furthermore, a beautiful walk to the Museum of Miro and the surroundings of the Olympic Stadium is an absolute must!

What may be annoying to some people are the vibrations of the metro. It didn't bother me myself. I grew up in a big city with a lot of commotion.

The staff was very friendly and gave great tips on where to explore in the city and which districts are worth visiting, also great suggestions on restaurants. Rooms were clean and beds comfy, AC worked but was quite loud. Breakfast was fine, could use more fresh veggies maybe. Location excellent - walking distance from major sights and districts.

The room was a bit "tired" and gets very dark in the evenings, the lightning is too dim for the dark interior of the rooms. The hairdryer did not work.

Great location. Comfortable and clean. Room cleaned and tidied each day to a high standard. Easy to use safe in room, fridge and nice shower room. Just a short walk to the nearest metro. Also on bus route. Staff were helpful. One of them did say to another guest that the Wi-Fi only worked in the lobby but Irma was OK on the first floor as well.

Only breakfast served but it was surrounded by restaurants.

The hotel is at a very good location, very close to the Paral-lel Metro, making it very easy to go anywhere. Even the Funicular to Montjuic is from the same station (you need to search for it though, as the way to the funicular is at the end of the metro’s platform). I went to the top with the funicular and was able to easily climb down from the castle to the hotel. I eve went on foot to many parts like the La Ramblas. It was really nice to have been upgraded to a double room which was spacious. They provided a kettle and some teabags in the room, besides a refrigerator and a locker (safe). You can also borrow the umbrella if it’s raining. They provide housekeeping everyday. I really loved my stay there and would gladly stay again.

It’s just a suggestion for housekeeping. Or probably I didn’t understand the protocol. Usually if you leave the towel on the floor, it is considered that you want it replaced. But I didn’t leave it on the floor and yet, it was changed everyday. Considering the water shortage in Barcelona, may be they can give clearer instructions on how to indicate when you want it changed and when not.

The hotel is located near the metro station, it is convenient to get anywhere you want. We mostly walked, because the hotel is within walking distance of the sea and central attractions. The room looks the same as in the photo, everything is clean, beautiful, comfortable, there was even a balcony in the room. The bed was washed every day, and the towels were changed. Delicious "buffet" type breakfasts at the time of our stay for 13 euros. There were different goodies every day. Friendly staff

hair dryer worked poorly, shower did not have a door so everything in bathroom was wet, lighting in the room and in the bathroom was bad (inconvenient to put make up on)

I really enjoyed my stay here. The room was immaculately clean, modern, spacious and comfortable (especially the bed), the hotel location was excellent and convenient, the staff were very helpful and the breakfast was varied, tasty and plentiful.

The room which I was initially assigned was on the first floor and facing right onto a busy street. The noise there was unbearable. After asking the reception for a quieter room, they kindly gave me a quieter and more comfortable one on the 5th floor. I really appreciated this. The room was perfect although the walls adjoining the next room were very thin and the guests in that room were extremely noisy. Nevertheless, for the price I paid, everything else was worth it.

Location was amazing with great restaurants nearby. Came for a show at the Apolo so it was perfect! The room was amazing with a lovely balcony, very clean and comfortable. The staff was nice.

The bathroom always smelled like sewer, probably due to a floor drain. We tried out best to cover it but it still smelled and it seeped into the room. There was also a (false) fire alarm at 3AM and when we went down the emergency stairs, the last door that led to the reception was obstructed by construction materials and we had to push it out of the way in order to get out which is a big no-no. Thankfully it was a false alarm. Plus because there was construction work being done in the hotel, there was a lot of noise that started really early. I wish you would wait until 9 or 10AM when most of the guests are already out, but being woken up by construction at 7AM was not pleasant.

Very convenient location, great modern room furnishings and a very delicious breakfast which was worth paying extra for! A smooth check in and out and they have a luggage room which was helpful.

The view out of the window is so-so - it's an inner courtyard but to us it wasn't a problem since I prefer to have that over a view on a loud street. One weird moment was when we couldn't get out of the main entrance doors as there was no one in reception and they disabled the automatic doors?!
