Great location- just across from the beach many restaurants and shops close by. The cleanliness of the hotel and its grounds was great and cleaners cleaned rooms to high standard. Only stayed for bed and breakfast but food was nice and varied. Got toasties daily from pool bar for lunch and they were tasty and well priced. Loved the Sky Bar and the drinks served...the views were spectacular. The staff are the biggest asset however and couldn't do enough for guests. My partner and I enjoyed it so much that we have already booked to stay next July!

As a non-smoker, it was a bit annoying having people smoke around the pool....perhaps there could be a designated smoking area

Our stay was fantastic. First, we were lucky, we found a parking just on the corner on the street, but also Hotel has a parcking place for 15 euros/day, so no problem, if you dont find it on the street. Cos when I was booking on the booking.com it did not say this inforamton about hotel has parking also. Then also we had an internet, on booking it does not say it has Wifi, but yes it has for free:) The receptionist a blond, kind lady we had at our check in, she was fantastic, so helpful, kind and smily. We had a room on the first floor facing small side street /not main/ and a side seaview, as I asked not to face the street if possible. It was only a little noise from the cars but almost nothing. The area around just gergous, you can reach a lot of things by walking or you can take taxi or bus also. The beach is beautiful and the surrounding the mountans amazing. Also what I loved is the check out time is 12, and you can leave your stuff in the hotel after that and still can enjoy the swimming pool or the sky bar there. There is also live music or singing in the eveing, we had nice singing in the bar in the evening, the bar staff also very nice, but we went to sleep early and we did not hear anything from the room. The restaurant staff just amazing, they are sooo helpful, fast and smily. We had dinner and breakfast. Both was just amazing. So many things you can choose from and very tasty. I am vegetarian and I left full:) The cleanliness of the room just uncredible, I travel a lot, but this hotel was one of the cleanest hotel in my life:) Just bravo to the staff! I would like to say thank you so so much, we had a great time in Benadelmadena and we will for sure come back to this hotel next time <3

The location is brilliant, rooms lovely and clean with air con, loved the variety of food on offer and loved the fact at breakfast you dont queue for a coffee as staff bring tea or coffee in pots to the table which cuts out the waiting for next person to move before you can get a drink, Toaster worked brilliant and only needed bread going through once, there was every variety of juice available. Staff was only too happy to help they are a credit to hotel.

As this is a 4* hotel the only thing i could say lets it down was the shower, having a shower with shower head over a bath isnt what i expected, i would think just having a nice shower in a cubicle would make things nice. But that is only negative.

Like many reading this review, we have stayed in many hotels. Hotel Las Arenas has to be the best for the following reasons. First of all, the staff are professional, helpful, hardworking and engaging. And, importantly they appear to enjoy their work at the hotel. The cleanliness of the hotel is excellent. Entertainment, varied and very good. The food is outstanding with a huge variety of choice. Sky Bar is lovely with panoramic views. When we return to Benalmadena, we will not be staying anywhere else but The Las Arenas. Thank you to all the staff for making our holiday so wonderful.

There was nothing that we didn't like.

This is the second time I booked in the hotel. I love the hotel, for the location and the beautiful view and atmosphere! It’s safe for a solo traveler ( women) . I usually book with half board! The evening there are some entertainment ( Music) It has many terraces ( beautiful) The stuff are professional, either in the restaurant, reception or the bar. The hotel receive groups, but it’s fine.

The groups or couples who booked through Jet2 Holidays, find a good deal ! As a solo traveler women, it was expensive for me during 3 days. I tried to negotiate the price a price, as I had done in November 2021, but it didn’t work. So 3 days cost me ( alone) 479€!

.We had a fabulous 4 night break in Benaladema. This hotel was a wonderful place to stay. Staff were so friendly and very helpful. Entertainment every night in bar. The pool areas were fab, especially the roof top area, it was exceptional. The breakfast, well I can't say enough, it catered for all needs. We both highly recommend this hotel. 👌👏

Only thing missing was a kettle in rooms. We do like our cuppa first thing on morning, but we survived.

Exceptionally clean, pool area well maintained with pool towels available daily. Pleasant helpful staff who make you welcome. Evening entertainment reasonable although a start time of 9.30 pm a little late for us. Close to alternative restaurants and only yards from the beach. Although Booking.com confirmation stated no wi-fi this WAS available at no cost.

As with most buffets hot food is a lottery. Most days we were towards the end of the daily room servicing which meant is was often between 3-3.45 before the room was cleaned and bed made. In my view alternating the routine to make you early/ late for room servicing would reduce frustration. Sad but water with evening meal had to be paid for but wine was at a reasonable price by today’s standards.

This was our second stay and once again we were not disappointed. Excellent value for money. Food fantastic with a very good choice. Extremely clean, good entertainment. What makes this hotel are the staff. They are super friendly, efficient, helpful and go above and beyond. We will return and would not stay anywhere else but Hotel Las Arenas. Very helpful and friendly reception and restaurant staff. Buffet dinner and breakfast both very good - adults and children all happy. Room and bathroom were good although we all found the beds a little too firm (being v picky!). Excellent location across the road from the beach and hardly any noise from the road or restaurants was heard inside the room.

The pool area is nice and very clean, but small pool and sun beds very close together. It wasn’t that busy when we got there, but in high season it might be. The restaurant was clean and roomy, but had no atmosphere - no music and very plain in design. We had eaten out at local restaurants most nights and this felt like it could have been anywhere as there was no character.

Very friendly staff, particularly Mickey and Eva. The hotel was spotless, food was fantastic and bar service very good. Very well done to the fabulous staff, they all do a excellent job. We had a wonderful time

We have been coming to the Las Arenas for about 18 years. The only negative this time was the room. The balcony faced a wall and the side of a swimming pool (underneath) so it wasn't feasible to sit out there to relax. I had put in a request for a sea view or side sea view and I thought as a regular customer, I would be catered for. Besides this, everything else was excellent.
