Very central to everything, great sunny balcony to enjoy your morning coffee overlooking the sea. Just 2 minutes walk off the main road so quiet at night for sleeping. Santi was always available on WhatsApp for advice and queries. I would definitely go back to Sunny beach

Nothing to complain about

We loved the location and pool at the apartments. The pool was so peaceful and relaxing, with plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas for everyone. The staff were also all so lovely and helpful. We went to the pool in the mornings and got lunch in one of the many restaurants nearby before walking across the road to the fabulous beach. We really recommend sunny beach If you want a relaxing, cheap and cheerful break away, in a perfect location.

We liked everything 😊 There is no air con, but you can purchase an additional fee. We didn't need it as there is a fan in the room anyway. The traffic outside was sometimes loud, which is not the accomodations fault. We brought ear plugs as we knew the location was close to road. Would advise. We would definatelt stay again and already planning our next trip 😊

We love the location and the fact that all the apartments have a sea view, which is exceptional. There are restaurants, bars, supermarkets and a great bus service within a 5 minute walk. This is our 4th time at Sunny Beach, and we will return next year. The staff are so helpful, and will assist whenever necessary. The apartments are big, with comfy beds and are so clean. They also have a lovely big pool with loads of sunloungers.Free Wi-Fi, TV, and a very well positioned balcony. Love it.

Always stay here. The rooms are spotlessly clean. Staff are very friendly and would do anything for you. Rooms are pretty basic, however if it's just a place to get your head down at night, then it is ideal. All the rooms are sea facing, so sitting out on your balcony in the morning with your coffee is ideal. Excellent location right at the Windmills roundabout, with everything practically a short stroll away. Already booked again for next year!

Would be ideal if the kitchen area was a little larger as it is pretty tight for space. However you are able to make snacks or light meals as everything is there for you to use. Would be great if there was a washing machine in the apartment.

Both of us really liked our stay at Sunny Beach, administration were there in the morning and at a knock on the door if they were needed. The rooms were clean and tidy, pleny of towels and the beds were very comfortable. The balcony was as it said on the web a beautifull view out to sea with the Windmill roundabout thrown in. Always plenty to view and see night and day.

I s uppose one of the downsides would be the traffic noise which was pretty constant night and day. We had pretty noisy neighbours who talked well into the night and early morning. No respect or regard for fellow neighbours, however. Sad but realistic unfortunately.

Sunny Beach is a fantastic small family run hotel. 5 floors with 6 rooms on each floor. Some people seems to live there permanently, and others stay come for a shorter stay. The staff is really nice and will do what they can, to assist. The pool is really good. Alot bigger then what I initially thought. It is well-kept, and cleaned every morning. Not much to say about the hotel. It’s a bit old, and needs an update, but everything works, and they get an olympic Gold medal for the location. All rooms have a full ocean view on the terrace. No aircondition, but a fan is provided, and that works just fine. All in all, it’s totally worth the price.

We loved this apartment, it has a lovely sea view, it was very comfortable and traditionally Spanish. It is located in a really good place for everything. The staff here were all lovely. The beds were comfy, the shower was good, we loved the coffee maker and the kitchenette, we will definitely come back here again next time we visit Benalmadena.

The only thing extra we would have needed was some dish washing liquid which is provided in some apartments.

The hotel was spotless and they cleaned the room and changed the linen twice a week. The room has everything you would need and plenty of plates, cutlery, pots and pans etc. There were lots of free beds by the pool and there was always someone about if you have any questions. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is in an excellent position with lots of small food shops and restaurants around, the food was great in most of them. There is a larger supermarket just up the road and a beautiful park right next door which is worth a visit. The beach is just across the road and the views from the rooms is to die for. Over all this hotel is a 10 for me and I will definitely stay again when I am in the area. Jose and Sante are very nice hosts, being very friendly and helpful and will do anything to make your stay comfortable.

The hotel is a bit dated however that did not dampen my stay here. I really have nothing bad to say.

Although the property is basic it was extremely clean and have everything we needed for a self catering trip including kettle, toaster and microwave oven and two ring hob. Juan the manager was extremely friendly and helpful and the location was fantastic, there is a supermarket just under the building that is about 50% cheaper than the one across the road, lots of shops and restaurants nearby and the bus stop is across the road were we took trips to Torremolinos, Mijas, Fuengirola for as little as 2 euros each.

I really can’t give a negative review except to say the shower rail needs replacing as the shower is so strong which is wonderful the current older for the shower head needs replacing with a long bar type holder.

This was my third stay at Sunny Beach and, as before, it was well suited to my individual needs. Great balcony views, spacious and well equipped studio, friendly and helpful staff (but, at the same time, not intrusive), within easy walking distance of shops, restaurants and the marina.

The lack of AC hasn't been a problem for me but, in hotter weather, it might be. Similarly, the dated design of the hotel and some of the facilities haven't been problems for me - indeed, I find they add "character" - but it might not suit guests looking for something newer.
