The location was incredible, walking distance to the beach. The room and all facilities of the hotel were incredibly clean and still very fresh and modern. My favourite area was the pool area. They have cleverly created little “booths” around the pool, where you are hidden from the lounger next to you by bushes. These little booths are paired up with beds. If you would rather sit in a larger groups, there are more open areas around the pool where you wouldn’t be split from your party. It was absolutely bliss. The little outside bar by the pool was also a wonderful addition to the stay, able to provide food for you to eat by the pool and cool beverages. I must also include that the hotel arranged a transfer from the airport on my arrival day, and again to the hotel for my travel home day. Absolutely faultless and so so so thankful for them for arranging it. They even offered to make up a little picnic for the transfer back to the airport for me as my collection was at 5am.

The food was incredible, but I would say the option available at buffet wasn’t great, therefore not worth the €25 per person. Despite that, like I say, the food taste was amazing. The buffet breakfast was amazing daily and lots of options available for that.

Mercure in Benidorm was a lovely place to stay. We stayed there for 7 nights that we could say "our home away from home." The hotel itself has a lovely garden that would make your day start gracefully. They keep their outdoors clean, that you can not even see any fallen leaves within the swimming pool area. The Bali-beds were beautiful but sadly we decided not to rent it due to weather circumstances. On the other hand, the beds would be worth the money if it were on a warmer and sunnier day. The entire hotel staff were so friendly and accommodating. By the way, when you visit Mercure, make sure that you won't miss any of your breakfast😉.

We did not encounter any oriblem within our stay, but accidentally, I dropped something under the bed. While getting my stuff, I noticed that it was quite dusty and was not cleaned during our stay because I checked it every day since I noticed it.

This hotel was very good in every aspect.Maids cleaning rooms every day.Nice comfy bed.Hotel lovely & clean.Very good staff in all areas.3 Lifts so, not very long waiting.The shower was quite good but,went cold on a couple of occasions.The food was very good.A bit repetitive but,lots of other options to choose from.My only gripe would be that, the hot food needs to be a lot hotter.It was nowhere near it's optimum keep warm temperature.If you are a Sun Worshipper, this hotel is probably not for you as,large parts of the pool are shady most of the day, due it's splendid lay out &, tall trees surrounding the pool &, patio area.Very centrally located,for the old town.We would most definitely stay here again.

Everything was fine.

The hotel and pool area is beautiful. Although the hotel was busy it was so peaceful around the pool (we stayed midweek) Lots of shade unless you’re on a lounger facing the pool. We stayed half board, the food was buffet and immaculately presented. There are some beautiful day beds that cost 100 euros a day but I only saw 1 or 2 each day being used. I think it would be better to allocate those to guests staying in a deluxe room, maybe 1 use per stay. This would then free up sunbeds for other guests. The old town is about a 15 minute walk and the strip approx 30-40 but you can get a taxi for around 8 euros.

The bathroom area is open plan which looks great but not very practical. The toilet and shower are cubicles facing the sink area. The air con in our room was terrible, it didn’t seem to work at all but I’ve not seen any other complaints so it might just of been our room, we had to rely on a massive ceiling fan. Coffee, milk etc not replenished after first day. The are no drawers, just shelves to put belongings and 8 coat hangers.

Location was good, all rooms have a nice balcony with views over pool area. Hotel felt quite classy, ideal for couples. Good selection at breakfast with bottles of cava in ice buckets. However coffee machine could have been better. We liked that you could order from the bar using a QR code while sat at the sun lounger. Bar area had a pianist playing and singing while we were waiting to check inn.

The mirror that was attached to the sink in the room left a really nasty rust stain. The trees/bushes around the pool did make it quite shady throughout the day. Only a handful of loungers had sun throughout the day. Pool was quite cold.

Good location. Nice breakfast. Welcome drink of cava on arrival. Friendly staff and were helpful when we spoke to them about things we weren’t so happy with. Grounds around the pool are attractive with nice trees. Fridge in room. Cleaners looked after the room well. Burger from the pool bar was very good. Dog friendly, we don’t have a dog but we like them! Quiet, wasn’t disturbed by other guests at all or street noise.

Not enough sunbeds round the pool at all for the number of people in the hotel. People queue at 9am to get them. They have cabana beds which cost a lot extra per day to book, which are taking up space where more free beds could be. No replenishment of water in the hotel each day. There is a water machine by the bar in the dining area which they don’t make clear/advertise. Could be more in terms of activities offered/classes, I only saw 1x yoga class once a week advertised. Gym was OK but not much equipment in there, one of the main reasons we chose the hotel was for the gym. Only one treadmill, one cross trainer, one bike, limited light dumbbells, no bench or weights machines. Very small gym room.

100% dog friendly including larger size dog. Food and drink excellent as were rooms but the superb staff was the icing on the cake!

Had to leave.

After a first visit to Benidorm in May where we were at the far end of Levante ,this hotels location was excellent. Just a short stroll to promenade and old town .The hotel has a great vibe , relaxing and welcoming. Rooms great and the beds were so comfortable. Only stayed bed and breakfast but food was well presented and a good choice. Didn’t eat from menu but witnessed plenty of people who did and it looked fantastic.

The outdoor area has a lot of greenery which is pretty but creates too much shade and a welcoming home for mosquitoes I think . Got quite a few bites . It wouldn’t stop me from revisiting though but would certainly bring my repellent spray next time

The hotel was a total surprise for us. From the outside, it looked like it was in a really bad area . But when you walk into the lobby , you just relax. I noticed there been a revamp around the swimming pool, which was very good, surprise. We had dinner the 2nd night at the restaurant, very good service. The food was really good. The breakfast was good.. just to crowded for me .. but not a negative for the hotel , just my dislike.

All was good.. but sadly, we only used this destination for a sleepover on our road trip down to Marbella.. Benidorm is not for my liking, so we stayed at the hotel for the day and half .

Beautiful aesthetic. Public areas are neutral colours with soft lighting and lots of fragrant, leafy plants around as well as comfortable Borg seating and a library. Breakfast was delicious - lots of variety with a number of “stations” depending on what you were in the mood for! We celebrated my birthday whilst here and I was so happy to return to my room on the day to find a bar of chocolate and note from the manager!

We were on the 8th floor and found the elevators slightly temperamental. On one occasion, we were trying to get to the lobby and ended up on floor 9 after the lift stopped on floor 4 to collect a couple who were also heading to the lobby. Nobody actually got on at floor 9 so we were all a little frustrated!
