The location of this hotel is the main selling point - it is on the quiet side of town and right on the sea front. We had a sea view room with balcony which was very good. We arrived just before lunchtime and although check in isnt until 4pm they said a room was available - when we went up there the room hadnt been made up after all but the receptionist got the chambermaid to come straight along and clean the room so we dumped our cases and went back out. The rooms are fairly spacious, very simply furnished, there are no pictures on the walls for example so quite minimalist. The bathroom has a large walkin shower, toiletries and hairdryer. There is a safe, fridge and tv in the room. The main thing to point out is that this really is a hotel geared up for spanish holidaymakers rather than english . There was only one other english couple staying on our last day so if you want sit in the bar talking to other holiday makers etc then I suggest this isnt the hotel for you. The bar area and restaurant are very minimalist, its not really the sort of environment that you want to spend long periods of time. Breakfast was pretty good with a bit of everything, 5 or 6 hot dishes which changed each day, various breads/rolls, apples and pears, cereal, yoghurts, croissants and a couple of cake selections. Its perfectly adequate. The fruit juice machine wasnt so good - the juice was way too concentrated, like undiluted squash. The young lad at breakfast was very nice and very efficient. There is a lovely rooftop terrace with some sunbeds, tables and chairs and even a small pool although this was closed (probably due to time of year - January). Overall I would recommend this hotel if you like to do your own thing and want to use the hotel as a base only . If you want to spend a lot of time around the hotel this probably isnt the hotel for you.

It would be nice to have tea and coffee in the room - we knew that this wasnt provided so took our own travel kettle. It would be nice to have a mirror in the bedroom - not just in the bathroom, for getting ready. It would be nice to have some english tv channels. Again it seems to be geared up for the spanish. There is entertainment in the bar area on Fridays and Saturdays which is very very loud. We were on the first floor above the bar area and it was deafening. But if you were on a higher floor it probably wouldnt be such a problem.

We paid a little more for a room with a seaview and was rewarded by a perfect view from this frontline property. We stayed on a half board basis and was pleasantly surprised by the buffet tyle meals offered, something for everyones taste and all well presented and served hot throughout the buffet service. The hotel does seem to be popular with the older Spanish clientel, there is probably a reason for this in that where it is located is easy walking because its flat around that area and like most establishments and restaurants if you notice where the locals patronise its usually good.

There were no facilities in the room to make a drink, bring (or as we did, buy) a travel kettle and this can be overcome.

The location of the hotel is superb. The room with the sea view was also great. Helpful staff on reception

The bathroom and shower was dated and is in need of modernisation. Little in the room in way of storage for clothes.

The location, directly across from the beach. Near the old town. Tapas Alley, restaurants, shops. Near beautiful bars and restaurants. The breakfast was excellent every morning. The staff very happy and accommodating. We had a room with a sea view and a balcony. Went to sleep most nights to the sound of the waves. Loved sitting on the balcony in the evening watching everybody walk up and down the prom. The shower was perfect. Great flow and lovely and hot. It has a small solarium with a small pool. Near the port for boat trips and para sailing. Supermarket next door and another round the corner. On a bus route. No 3 from across from the bus station will take you to the poniente beach and a 2 min stroll to the hotel. You can walk to the new town 20/25 mins or taxi 8 euros. If you like to pop in and out of the lively night/day life in the new town this is perfect. Or stroll along the prom with all the bars and restaurants.

Very thin walls. You heard chairs being scrope along the floor. The noise outside you could hear and if your a light sleeper may affect you. Didn't notice air con unit so in the summer may be very hot.

I liked the pool on the roof with sun loungers - I liked it was situated opposite the beach - I liked how clean the hotel is. It was a nice stay.

All the food on offer was in Spanish no translation to English therefore some meals I wasn't sure what the food was - I didn't like I had to pay 2 euros per day for the safe but I noticed when leaving at the end of the holiday that the card which was given with. the door card said that the safe was free - strange

The sight on the beach from my balcony was superb, incomparable ! The wifi connection was perfect, contrary to this of my 3 former hotels in Benidorm. My single room was very nice and cosy !

The meals (in the evening) were rather mediocre. A medium variety of food, in many cases not hot enough (luke-warm fish or French fries) , the beef was mostly exceptionnal tough full of "tendons" or nerves. And at the breakfast, as in most Spanish restaurants and hotels, the bread, croissants or sandwiches were not really "fresh", freshly baked and crispy as we have in Belgium of France. In our restaurants they serve bread or croissants which are freshly baked at 4 o'clock in the morning. Yours are rather a bit "damp" and certainly not crispy. I believe you have another tradition. But I admit, we come to Spain for the sun and the fantastic weather and not for the croissants....

Fabulous location and amazing sea view. The bed was very comfortable so as kept well. Had an amazing shower, hot and a nice size. Good breakfast selection of hot buffet, cereals, fruit and pastries

I specifically booked this hotel for the use of the rooftop pool but it wasn’t yet open so was little disappointed, I have stayed in other hotels the same time of year in Benidorm where the pool was open so just expected it to be. The white coffee in both machines was very sweet so didn’t like it but got by with tea instead

The staff were brilliant. Isabela, Ivan and Kevin were all great at their jobs and very professional but friendly. A good example of how staff should be. Also the guy on night reception with bald head ( sorry I forgot his name) was great. Entertainment staff were really professional. Cleaners were excellent and very courteous.

The bar area was a bit cold due to drafts coming in through glass doors. Plastic strips were missing from the bottom of the joins between the doors. Coffee is really really terrible !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
