Great location, enjoyed having a roof terrace to eat outside and to dry towels, swimming stuff. Very clean and tidy. We arrived early and the lovely girl on reception made sure we could access our apartment earlier so we didnt have to wait which was the best start to our amazing holiday. Restaurant downstairs very good, very friendly, great food. Lovely pool. We found it quiet and relaxing here just as we had hoped. I am sure we will be back for another stay here, Cala Galdana is gorgeous.

We did have a few ants in the kitchen but they weren't a huge issue. Could do with some more hooks in bathroom for towels and shelf in kitchen for food items.

Everything was great, if I had to point out something it would be that in the kitchen there is no extractor, but it was not a major problem at all! The apartment furniture is not new but it is really ok for the price.

Since I often inform myself by reading user reviews here I am happy to leave a review myself. But I don’t want to repeat others because mainly I found true at Alta Galdana what others wrote. So, read their reviews and make up your mind. Depending on what class of apartment you are looking for I can sincerely recommend Alta Galdana. The apartments offer all what you really need, their adjacent terraces (sometimes with spectacular views) give you space to relax. The management (in person of Mireia) is very friendly and very helpful if you have questions. And the on-site restaurant Sa Lluna is a very good one (offerings from pizza to menus with some local food). Cala Galdana gives you nice access to neighbouring calas (which I liked to walk in – 30-60 minutes one way). And Cala Galdana is a typical and relaxed holiday village. Sometimes beaches were a bit too crowded (even in September), but on the other hand the beaches were just marvelous. So, definitely Cala Galdana and the apartments Alta Galdana are worth a visit.

The apartment was very large and had all the amenities I needed. The kitchen was pretty well equipped and the capsule coffee machine with free capsules was especially nice. Everything was clean and working. You could see over the whole Cala Galdana from the apartment's terrace which was situated on the roof, the stairs to it were next to the apartment entrance. It was nice to sit outside having breakfast and listening to live music played in the nearby restaurant in the evenings.

Not a dislike, but the apartments are situated on a hill, so there are quite a few steps to climb to get to some of the apartments. But you are rewarded with great views!

It's always a pleasure to travel to Menorca. These clifftop* apartments are situated close to ever-popular Cala Galdana/Serpentona, giving access to some thoroughly enjoyable family entertainment at the Tabogan restaurant/water slides/children's play park/crazy golf... where we spent a lot of time. We ventured on foot to neighbouring Cala Mitjana (30 minutes), for sandy coves and clearer waters. Alta Galdana Apartments very kindly granted our previous request for a sea view, and we found our two bed apartment more than sufficient. * Please note that if your knees/hips are a problem, better to choose apartments on a lower altitude as there's plenty of daily climbing here. For the rest of us, we can get fitter!

No complaints. Kitchen facilities were better than expected, having read previous reviews. Roof terrace was a complete blessing, that we discovered on day two.

Very nice location, close to the beach, super easy to park a car, the restaurant in the property is great. Kitchen is well equipped.

I know it’s an apartment, but for 4 days they could have provided more towels and on top of it there is no shampoo for bath. The ceiling fans worked fine, but in case you really struggle with heat, bare in mind they don’t have AC.

Loved the fact it was just a short walk to everything in the area. Nice pool with a restaurant on location 👌

I have a damaged knee. The steps were a bit harsh but I just took it steady. Fridges and microwave very rusty but not unhygienic. Didn't bother me that much

The apartments were well located, within five minutes of the beach and restaurants and supermarkets were even closer. Parking is on the street outside the apartments and it was not difficult to find a suitable space. Reception is only open in the mornings, but the staff were delightful. There was a problem with the bathroom door being off its roller, but this was attended to almost immediately. The apartment was clean, adequately furnished and the bed was more comfortable than it first appeared. The shower was excellent - really powerful, as hot as you like, with enough hot water for a reasonably long shower. Our room was in an elevated position, which meant more steps to climb, but it also had the advantage of a roof terrace - which was more private than the outside areas that the lower apartments had. Wifi was much better than expected having read some other reviews and the official write-up on Booking.com. The connection was always on and it even worked with no issues on the terrace. A bottle of water and some basics were left in the apartment for us on arrival.

The apartment seemed just a little damp - possibly aided by the lack of an extractor fan - and there was a little black mould on the bathroom ceiling. Accessibility could be an issue for some. The resort abruptly closed down on 1st November, including the restaurant linked to the apartments. The pool remained open though (this is situated alongside the restaurant in front of the apartments).

Great apartment excellent views, very clean apartment and complex. Lovely receptionist. Everything you need for a self catering holiday.

It's a shame if you have a disability or little babies (it does state that in the description of location)
