The hotel is pretty good, absolutely loved the location! Booked a twin room with balcony and the view was amazing! On the left there were mountains and the sea on the right, also our balcony was right in front of the club "Oxygen" which made the atmosphere so good and it was easy to check when we should go attend the club or bar there. Even though there was a club in front of us, it wasn't too loud at night. In addition, you could also just close the balcony, the sound isolation is good. The hotel location is great, it's close to the beach and restaurants, bars, and only like a 15 minute walk to the downtown. We only had breakfast in the hotel, so mostly ate at the restaurants, a few I would recommend: "Don Corleone" a bit more expensive than all others, but the atmosphere is worth it; "Mammamia" the best pizzeria ever, the pizza is awesome, also a bit more expensive than the other restaurants near the beach, but if you love pizza you should try it for sure!; "Restaurant Hotel Garbi" not too expensive, yummy food and nice staff. If you also need to buy some water, snacks and stuff like that, I'd recommend buying it in the "Mercadonna" we bought 8 liters of water for less than 1 Euro, when in local shops they sell 1,5 liters for like a Euro. Also if you're interested in clubs I would totally recommend "Oxygen" and "Fenix" with the foam parties; people also say "The Frog" is good, but haven't been there personally, so can't say anything. Definitely try out Sangria, Tequila and all the cocktails, those here are the best I've ever had. In case you need a tip how to get from Barcelona EL Prat airport to Calella easily: if you arrive to the terminal T2, you need to find the bus station at your terminal and buy a bus ticket from Sagales; it will get you straight to Calella and costed like €10.

I should start off by saying we loved our stay in hotel President, ALL the staff are amazing and are exceptional in helping you out 👏🏽👏🏽. The room was basic ..no frills and no fridge in room, you can rent a safe deposit box for €3 a day. Spotless clean, bedding and towels changed every day. Our room was above the entrance, this side only get the sun on the balcony in the mornings so if you want the sun afternoons -evenings ask for sea view or pool view. Plenty sun beds and parasols provided at the pool. The food in general was excellent, couldn’t fault it, great variety, and well presented…..we were there for 9days and didn’t find it repetitive. The food alone would make me choose to go back to this hotel. We were leaving at 5.30am and they even supplied us with a breakfast at 4.30am 👏🏽 amazing. We were half board so I can’t comment on lunch but I’d be sure it wouldn’t disappoint. The entertainment at the hotel was great I don’t usually go watch this on this occasion I’m glad I did also the bar prices in the hotel make it very attractive to enjoy the hotel facilities more…..☕️€1.50 🍷€1.50 small 🍺 €2 large 🍺 €3 and cocktails 🍹 all €4.20 . There seemed to be lots of guests who return to the hotel regularly, you can see the personal welcome they get from the staff on arrival..lovely touch. I don’t think this hotel would be suitable for young party goers as it’s geared more to all the other genres.

There is a school next to the hotel so can be a bit noisy during school hours, while didn’t worry me that much might annoy others. On our last night the disco across from the hotel had its seasonal opening and it was noisy with patriots at 3-4am, you would have to close your balcony door to prevent this noise.

I did not want to write my review of this hotel in a hurry. First of all, a big thank you to the young man who sits at the left end of the reception. I'm sorry, I don't know know your name. May God bless you for your kindness. The effort to stand up from your chair, walk up to me at the lift, and ask me in my language "are you okay", we kept some food for you" may seem mundane but it literally restored my faith in humanity when I returned to the hotel after I had missed dinner on a very exhausting day out. The food is awesome, and the pool ambience is breathtaking. The staff at breakfast and dinner greet and welcome you like family. I will surely like to be back when next I'm in that axis, hopefully on vacation and not a business trip.

The hotel staff is very friendly and very professional. They all work with a big smile in the face and very helpful. The rooms were very nice and OMG super clean, well done to the ladies that clean those rooms and the hotel in general very well. The restaurant food was incredibly good, and I could not believe for the amount of money they can still service a great quality of food and make sure all table are clean after the guest leave the plates was so fast the ladies cleaning everything and make sure the space to the next guest are ready and clean. They have all types of meals to all tastes so no complaints about this and every day is something different. The location is great, 500m from the beach and 10 min to the town of Calella. Lots of restaurants and bars and supermarkets around the hotel. The evening entreteriment was great and was offering to all ages. The price of the cocktails, coffee and whatever you order at the bar was very cheap and great drinks. Swimming pool very clean and chairs to everyone. When you are in the room once you close the window, no noise at all to hear. I will come back to the hotel with my family again soon. Thanks to everyone work really hard in the Hotel President.

Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, a credit to this hotel. Very clean everywhere. There are 3 lifts. Our room had twin beds, air con, a TV, a safe which was 3 euros a day but always worth it for me. Wardrobe had coat hangers and shelves. Bathroom was very clean with a shower. Some toiletries provided in sachets and a hairdryer screwed to the wall. Balcony with table and chairs and a pool view. Pool area nice and every morning it is pressure washed as are all the sunbeds. Individual umbrellas that sit in a hole in your sunbed. There is a pool bar and outside toilets that were immaculate. . Nice mix of nationalities with a very relaxed atmosphere. If you want English back bacon and sausage then this is not for you, however if you want a selection of fresh and tasty food then you will be fine. Drinks were reasonably priced and trolleys are pushed round the restaurant for you to purchase with your meal. Sparkling water was 1.40, soft drinks and bottled beer 2 euros. A large beer was 3 euros at the bar. There is entertainment in the evening although we did not really sample this. Our transfer was early morning and the reception staff made sure there was some breakfast for us at 05.30 am as we were full board, and if you are out for the day they will provide a packed lunch. There are hundreds of shops in Calella and you can easily catch the train. We went to Barcelona and a return ticket was 11 Euros. There is a massive supermarket a few minutes walk away and plenty of bars as well in the area. Thankyou Hotel President for a lovely stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel President, Calella. What I'd like to point out is very helpful staff, excellent organization of running the hotel including dining area, superb cleanliness and very good food, sometimes even exceptional.

Well, there is quite difficult access to swimming pools because of people who "reserve" sunbeds by putting their towels on them and walkaway. The main pool is in reality much smaller than it appears on the promotional pictures. But never mind, an amazing and huge beach with warm and clean sea is just a seven-minute walk away:-)

The location of the hotel was excellent. The staff was courteous. We booked rooms with breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food was well cooked with a large variety and was accompanied by a variety of sweets and fruits. Every night there were different events in the hotel area. The most beautiful was the Latin night with live music in the pool area with the price of the cocktail (drink) at 4.20 euros. The hotel cafeteria had billiards and the served coffees and natural juices were very cheap. At a distance of 100 meters from the hotel there is a supermarket.Thank you!!!

This hotel was really good. So much better than we expected as the price was very reasonable. The food was exceptional, amazing value for money and such a excellent choice of fresh food each day. The dinning room staff were incredibly friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Reception staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Everywhere was clean. Room was cleaned everyday with fresh towels. We had a great time.

The twin room was 2 single beds. I expected 2 double beds. My bed was very uncomfortable, but my friends bed was fine. I didn't complain to anyone, so these are just my thoughts. This was the only issue we had with this hotel.

Good location - direct train from airport Barcelona/El prat. The closest beach was 5 min walk, not crowded. Hotel offers great food (we had full board package). Every day was a different offer (thematic dinners - eg. mexican, greek, spanish). Food was tasty, it was replentished regularly and had sufficient options (everytime 4 or 5 kinds of meat and 10+ kinds of vegetables plus ready made salads). The hotel pool offers lounge chairs and umbrellas for free. Evrything was cleaned daily. We had a room with balcony and sea view. The bed was comfortable. Bathroom in a very good condition.

The door to room was not entirely soundproof, we heards the sounds from corridor.

We LOVED staying here! And the place grew on us more and more while we stayed. Yes it’s a little ‘rustic’, but everything is done with love and care. Location is amazing, once we realised how close you are to the main strip and the beach. Loved the additional free activities such as kayaking. Breakfast and dinner was great. The churros were a hit with the kids, great variety for kids and parents. Drinks are well priced. Lots of people around, this is a loud and lively location. Lots of entertainment. Felt family focused and safe. Rooms small but air con worked really well, rooms have everything you need. Very clean, beds were rather hard, I can see they have attempted to add something to soften them but they are very firm. Great TV channels on offer, amazing shower pressure, the bathrooms appears to have been renovated. Plenty of towels and extra blankets provided. All round we loved the hotel and Calella will 1000000% be on our next trip

Only things were firm mattress, If the mattress was softer they couldn’t pay me to leave!! Only other thing was that it was very loud and lots of ‘entertaining at night’, we had just travelled 24 hrs and were ‘acclimatising’ to the new Timezone so we were falling asleep at 9-10pm when the entertainment was kicking off and it was loud. ( we asked for a quiet room but got the first floor which is quite loud, but great views of the pool). We had to play the news to drown out the noise. But we fell asleep fine because we were exhausted. Just know this is not a quiet hotel it is loud and lively hotel, but very fun. The entertainment down’s settles down around 11pm
