This was a beautiful historical hotel in an excellent location. Everywhere we looked was photo worthy. Tastefully and sympathetically decorated. Honesty bar in a little courtyard with trickling fountains. Shaded areas to relax among ruins or in the outdoor pool. Central location in this gorgeous city.

Great location, clean and comfortable rooms, and having a swimming pool is a wonderful way to escape the August heat in Córdoba.

This is the only hotel we’ve ever been to that doesn’t offer complementary tea and coffee. Similarly, we were surprised that the lemonade by the pool wasn’t complementary. It would have been much better if they would just add 10 euros to the price of the room, instead of overcharging for stuff that should be complementary. It’s not about the money, it’s about making us feel like welcomed guests and not like a walking wallet.

Much more beautiful than the photos suggest. A warren of buildings and courtyards, water features and plants. Very quirky and a great location. Very efficient staff. Helpful.

Breakfast is good although the room is on the lower ground floors with no windows.

This is the coolest boutique hotel we have stayed in Europe. It's an old historical hotel, with lots of charm, patios, and nooks and crannies. We stayed in the penthouse, which had its own large private terrace, with a view of the Mosque/Cathedral. The breakfast room was in the basement and was spacious and well appointed. The breakfast was very tasty, with lots of options. The staff was very helpful. A porter took our bags up and down the final staircase to the penthouse, as the lift only goes up 2 floors. Everything was perfect. I would definitely stay here again if in Cordoba. The location can't be beat, right in the heart of the old city center, just steps from the Mosque and shops and restaurants.

excellent location, the best. A lovely , Ryad style to this hotel. We found the staff on the whole welcoming and friendly. Lola in particular in reception was exceptional. The breakfast was very good with a wide range of options. The honesty bar was welcomed in the early evening.

The rooms are rather small, and very dark indeed. The bathroom was also quite limited in size. The pool was Ok, but very limited space to relax around it. Not meaning to be personal, but there was a female member of staff who unnerved us somewhat !. Her appearance in a black uniform added to the mystery as we felt she was policing the honesty bar., but in a very secretive way ! Just made us feel uncomfortable.

Lovely hotel, right in the centre of Cordoba. The staff were exceptionally helpful and resourceful. The room was cleaned to a high standard and all aspects of this hotel put it in the high standard category. The beds were enormous and beautifully comfortable after a long days sight seeing. Cordoba is definitely worth a visit and this hotel was a superb base.

The breakfasts provided a tasty variety in a subterranean dining room (possibly Roman?) First world problem, but the coffee was very poor. Going out for coffee is always more enjoyable than the hotel machines, I find.

The hotel is charming, artfully converted from historic palace houses in the Old Town. The room was decorated in traditional style, very comfortable and clean, with modern amenities of air conditioning, Wi-Fi and a decent shower. Hotel staff were attentive and professional without being obtrusive. The hotel is ideally situated in the Old Town, just a short walk from the major sights of Cordoba.

The lighting in the room was a bit low, a couple of more powerful wall lights would have been nice. Also, suggest swap out one of the pictures for a good mirror in the main bedroom space.

We loved the location near the Mestiza; the high quality and generous breakfast (breads, eggs, meats & cheeses, cereals); the charming assemblage of former courtyard homes into a hotel; and in our case, the spectacular penthouse accomodation with beautiful bedroom, giant bathroom, fun interior decorations, balcony facing the view, patio with plenty of room for lounging and listening to birds, and DIY tea and coffee.

Directions to the front door were a little vague; we walked around for a while before finding it. It is well labeled just not signposted.

Tucked away in the old town, this stylish, historic hotel is a short walk from the Mesquita and is a perfect place to relax after sightseeing. The building has lots of courtyards and quiet spaces. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room itself was compact but there was plenty of space as there was a huge walk-in wardrobe. It was also nice to have a safe at no extra charge. The ensuite featured a bath and a walk-in shower and the bed was large and very comfortable.

A bit more shade around the pool would have been good, it was really hot when we were there!
