The location to the beach areas. The use of a mini fridge in the bedroom. During our stay in San Sebastián we enjoyed a two night stay in the old Town area and as contrast two nights in the Ondarreta Beach area

The hotel has obviously undergone recent refurbishment and has attractive reception and communal areas. However the allocated room 104 was disappointing. The shower overflowed on all the occasions used. We told the young man on reception who assured us it was fine and not a problem and if we needed more towels to say. Having to mop up water on the bathroom floor is not my expectation when staying in a hotel of this rating. There appeared to have been some maintenance work in the ceiling inside the doorway. A square in the plaster board had been cut out and replaced by using tape etc, resulting in an eyesore.

Hotel was in a superb un-touristy location, yet a mere 5 minute walk from the beach. A warm welcome at reception despite the late hour of our arrival. Every aspect of the hotel exuded an easy sophistication. It was spotless & awash with beautiful furniture, wallpaper, fabrics, cushions & lighting. Breakfast was extensive with choices to suit all, good value, & repeatedly replenished. A special mention for the excellent bar/restaurant staff who provided outstanding service in a frequently busy environment- a bar buzzing with hotel guests & locals.

Beautiful, newly renovated hotel. Very comfortable, and smelled beautiful too ❤️ It is very close to the beach, but not very close to the city center. Nevertheless, there are several restaurants nearby. The breakfast was incredible, well made and with a nice selection, inclusive to different diets. The hotel had some actions in place to reduce waste, which I really appreciated. Large, modern toilet with an amazing shower.

The room looked very cleaned, but I actually found a hair in my bed sheets, so I cannot overlook that. It had a very large TV in the bedroom, but it was not very useful, as the channel selection was poor, and it was not possible to connect any streaming service (for instance, if it was a smart tv we could connect to our Netflix account). I know it sounds very specific, but if you are going to renovate a hotel a put a huge TV in the bedroom, it would be nice that the international guests could use it somehow :) Parking wise, most parking nearby needs to be paid for. We could always park our car without problems, but we had to pay. Just something to have in mind :)

Very friendly staff. Great family room and special welcome for our dog. We were sent a note on booking informing us off extra cost as had requested a dog. What the hotel informed us is that you have to request a parking space as well. Obviously this was an issue but Patricia and Tielme (I hope I have remembered their names correctly)on the front desk were very helpful and didn’t turn this into a drama. Good location and nice hotel. Will definitely use again and recommend.

Although dog friendly the attached cafe/bar didn’t let dogs in.

Renovated hotel, very close to the beach - less than 5 min which was a big advantage.Rooms were clean and pretty. There is also private garage parking (paid) which was a plus.Be aware it is not close to the old town part, you will need a 25min- 30 min walk by the beach, but there is also a bus stop just in front. Breakfast was ok.

The breakfast service was a bit chaotic and lots of food missing with 45 min still to finish the breakfast time. You constantly needed to ask for food. They could work on this.

Perfect location - 4 minutes walk to the beach. Comfortable rooms. Non-smoking. Good breakfast with a wide selection of hot and cold food. The cafe restaurant was very reasonably priced and the food was also tasty! The staff members were friendly, attentive and efficient. Children-friendly hotel. Quite a few guests had pets!

It's a shame there is no pool, but the beach makes up for it! The outside terraces (front + back) could have had a bit more shade!

Meets all the expectations of a Ilunion hotel. Large rooms with all the comfort you need. Excellent location. Just few minutes walk from the beach and the center. Delicious breakfast with a plenty of options. Good bar and restaurant with a terrace. Very helpful and welcoming front desk and all the staffs. Underground covered parking. You need to reserve a spot beforehand for the parking. We had a pleasant stay!

Hotel is well situated, staff at the reception desk very helpful. Hotel decor very tasteful.

Bathroom tiny, no shelving to put toiletries , no facility to hang wet towels to dry, tiny hand soaps given which went all soggy after washing hands a few times instead of soapdispenser. The loo was so near the washbasin that your knees touch the legs supporting the wash bassin!

Really comfortable bed, lovely room. Shower was excellent, very powerful. Very good location, close to beach and lots of great places to eat and drink. Not expensive at all. Hotel drinks prices were very competitive. Lovely 20 minute walk along the promenade to the Old Town. Would highly recommend staying here.

What a beautiful and clean property! Near beach Onderrata and just a quick ride on the bus to ciudad viejo. The staff was absolutely amazing! Very modern design and truly a great experience! Very quiet room, no street noise.

Minor con is that it’s not in the old city center but the bus number 5 and 25 are less than ten minutes to the center.
