The blankets/beds were really comfortable. there was opportunity for full darkness while in your bed. the curtains went all the way around for complete privacy. They help you with your suitcase. If you're arriving don't be afraid to ask for help if you can't handle the stairs up (I couldn't because I'm weak and had a very heavy suitcase) and i received help every time i needed it. The breakfast went for a long time of availability which was good. I had the luck of meeting people of all ages from all continents. The view from the rooftop is cool! The tiny alleyways at the top of the stairs are charming when you're on your way to the convenience store (one of many nearby) It's walking distance very closely to the main buses, trains and nightlife areas. It's still somehow a quite street although its right in the thick of things where all the action is. There is a secret passage to cut through from the station to the hostel that the police showed me. It's also so close to a massive mix of restaurants from heaps of different cultures. Saved me time :) Not a party hostel as things shut at a reasonable hour as its a residential quiet area...but plenty of people to go out with and the party is on your doorstep. It's one bus from around the corner that takes you to Hongdae.
Theres nothing I didn't particularly dislike. one thing to note is if you have mobility issues this place might not be very suited to you due to all of the stairs. Don't forget the reception closes but this didn't seem to be an issue for anyone while i was there.

Interesting concept, plenty of cafés and restaurants nearby, and close to the beach.
The hostel is perfectly fine as a hostel, but there are some drawbacks to mention. First, the night concierge on our first night was not very friendly—she seemed annoyed to wait for us to check in so she could go home. Second, not all the beds were comfortable, as some had very worn mattresses that caved in. Third, it’s really difficult to find parking nearby. Lastly, we paid for breakfast during our reservation, only to find out that it cost just 6 euros at the hostel, but we paid significantly more through Booking

Beds and pillow we’re comfortable and there was plenty of space to sit around in the common areas. Shower had plenty of powerful hot water and is spacious. Area is at other side of San Sebastián but it’s a beautiful walk along the beach to the old town, about 2km. Area is nice and quiet.
One toilet for 16 females could be a problem and there was no hand dryer or paper towels for drying hands so therefore people used the toilet paper which then ran out. Kitchen area has only fridge microwave kettle and toaster. There is no sink in the kitchen and very limited cups and plates. No free tea coffee or milk so therefore everyone buys milk and then the fridge it full of 8 or 10 cartons of milk and no room for everyone’s food. Offering tea coffee and milk would solve this problem

Women only room had decent space, individual lockers. The bed space was well equipped with light, small storage & outlet. Good AC in room. Coffee for free in the morning. Minimal breakfast available.Nice to have a hair dryer available. Common area cramped, but provides some table space.
As others stated, it’s up s steep hill, & a bit of a walk from the center & old town. Bathroom was not ventilated & felt like a sauna & it was dirty. Pricey, but to be expected in August.

It’s close to the beach, it’s well kept and the staff is very friendly!
Pets are not allowed even though it was stated they were online. It wasn’t us that had a dog, but our friend did and she had to leave and wasn’t able to get a refund. The bar had weird hours. Could only get 1 drink since it was only open for about 2-3 hours? Then re opened at 9pm and then closed again at 10pm. I bought an all women’s dorm and I still wound up in coed. Policies could have been more clear and she should have been refunded, but that wasn’t the staff’s fault. Everyone was very friendly and the atmosphere was still good.

I really like the people in the reception, the restaurant, the rooms and the beds. The bathroons were also very comfortable, there was place to change, go to the toilet or take a shower; I never had to wait to go to the bathroom.
I did not like that there was no kitchen to cook your own food or that the restaurant below did not offer cheap options or give you tips on where to find good food. There is also a lack of airflow because even with the window open, sometimes the smell is very bad.

Nice newer hostel. Well designed and functional. Is in a quiet area of the town. Good cafe. It was clean.
I would have liked some kitchen facilities. Like cooking and sinks with preparation surfaces. I opened the refrigerator and gave up on using it. A hostel needs to design, guide and enforce how it is being used. Also, please have guidelines for guests. Like talking using a normal voice and keeping the door open in a bunk bed room, when other people are sleeping. It's not very considerate.

Mostly everything, there were at least a couple of flows with staff members. About things they could of done, but chose not to.
The shortage of showers, I don't know exactly how many people on the floor, even though they have rooms with private bathrooms, some of those guests there were using the ones outside their private room. There is always more guests staying in shared dorms. HELLO!!!

The staff were incredibly nice, especially the woman at the reception desk. I had some questions and a problem with my locker and she assisted very quickly and kindly. Overall the room was a standard hostel room with everything you need. There is no kitchen, but there is a fridge and a microwave.
The door to the room squeaked quite loudly, which was a little disruptive later in the evening and early in the morning. The bathrooms weren't quite clean. The mattress was also a bit hard.

They had the laundry area, a lot of seating area at the ground floor and the first floor. Staff was kind, especially Eugenia who was at the reception and the bar area. She treated me really nicely. She was doing her job really well. She is a good human being kind to everyone.
People in my room put a lot their luggage and untidy shoes on the floor. But I guess it is people’s fault not the hostel. Another thing I you are walking, you have to walk up the steep for 5-6 minutes.
