The hotel was pleasant and an excellent base for ski and snowboard trips to the Sierra Nevada mountains. The room was simple but had all the basic amenities. The staff and owner do not speak English but are very welcoming and friendly; hence, the language barrier wasn't a problem. Traditional Spanish breakfast provided power for skiing and snowboarding. It consisted of pan con tomate (Spanish-style grilled bread with tomato), Spanish ham and cheese, and tasty homemade desserts. The car park behind the hotel is huge and secured overnight.

Only instant coffee is available during breakfast

The perfect place to wake up and go on an adventure early. It is well situated with views of the nearby mountains and close to the start of the most famous treks. You can hear the bird sing, and a nearby mule occasionally snorts, reminding you that you are no longer in the bustling cities. The place feels rustic, there are cat cubs roaming the vicinity, and the owner himself gets your breakfast on the table. They have crystal glasses in the room, perfect if you intend to drink something without going out with your friends. If you prefer going out, the city has some cool places to go as well. The hotel's common room downstairs was always full of adventurers, talking about their expeditions to the mountain, past and future.

You can expect fruits, bread, ham, and cheese for breakfast. Those are not too many options, especially if you are vegetarian. However, this was not a setback in our travel as the city is full of bakeries and cozy places to eat. The staff was kind enough to take note that we were vegetarian and avoided offering meat-based dishes during our stay, which feels like a lot in this part of the world sometimes.

Lovely terrace where one can enjoy very good value lunches. Breakfast was included in the price. This family run hotel was spotlessly clean. Appreciated having private car parking. The hotel was nicely located in centre of town. While the pool was open access to it was locked and probably if we spoke Spanish this could have been resolved. The hotel has a lot to offer at a very reasonable price

Would have liked a hairdryer

Lovely location, staff were friendly however they did not speak much English, nothing a Google translation didn't resolve. Breakfast was great, continental, bar drinks not expensive.

Unfortunately our Aircon wasn't great, being that we were on the 4th floor the room was very hot and humid at night so I didn't really sleep much for the 2 nights we were there. The Aircon box had been taped up with plasters and therefore kept on failing and not release much air at all.

This hotel is excellent value the rooms are clean and comfortable and the fact soap and shampoo is supplied is excellent. Breakfast is lovely and the evening meal is tasty and great value if you want it

To be honest not much except possibly the noisey cockeral keeping me awake but I can't blame that on the hotel!

Location is great, right in centre. Staff is nice & helpful. The town has some beautiful views. Room is older but does have all you may need.

Facilities were once grand, a bit tired nowadays, swimming pool was not open in May. Free wi-fi is good downstairs but in the room on the second floor the signal was slightly spotty if you needed to work remotely. For browsing it was fine,

Good location near the centre of the village. Friendly and helpful staff. Value for money with included breakfast and evening menu also good.

Was a bit difficult to find as up a steep narrow street, closed to traffic at the top end.

Traditional village hotel, with excellent restaurant bar and cafeteria. And, rare in a mountain village, a small swimming pool. Friendly staff in a friendly village.

the property was authentic. the owner managed to find us a family room instead of two separate rooms, initially booked. this was much more convenient for our family (couple + 3 kids < 10y old). located in a superb village with nice cafes and restaurant, and with direct access to Granada and the Sierra Nevada.

nothing in particular, the food was not the best but was acceptable.
