Arrival time when we needed it, very warm welcome, Arhold and Arineta made us feel at home. The B&B is in a central location in the old town , beautifully renovated and presented 5 guest room house. Our room was spacious, bright and nicely presented, nothing has been missed to make sure that you stay is memorable. Kettle, safe, coffee machine, ensuite shower room, fridge with soft drinks etc Lovely rooftop terrace which is spacious, plenty of seating with views of the town and sea, breakfast is served here. Breakfast is included, freshly prepared fruits, teas, coffee, hot breakfast tortilla with ham and cheese, yogurt and fresh orange juice. Perfect!

Town church bells, continues all through the night, hourly and half hour loud chimes

Beautiful place to stay! Have already recommended it to others. Loved the bed, was happy to find duvets. :) Ingenio was a very nice town, which has several small, green parks with playgrounds. This was excellent when travelling with a kid.

Only stayed one night, which was windy, and some loose item was banging on the wall or roof most of the night (whenever the wind was blowing). So even though the bed was top notch, our sleep was lousy.

Very warm-welcoming hosts Alienka and Arold, amazing double-room (next time we are looking forward to try the suite with Jacuzzi), very good recommendations for food and sightseeing, stunning and amazing surprise-breakfast every morning at the roof-top with freshly-made orange juice or mango (from their own garden) juice, delicious coconut-pancakes the one morning, the other morning an extraordinary delicious Sandwich ("Vietnam-Twist")

Due to a strong wind the window blinds made some noise at night, church with a bell nearby

The property is beautiful and couldn’t have been hosted better. Breakfast was wonderful.

We were a bit confused by Ingenio as a place and for that reason wouldn’t go back. The only downside other than it’s location (for us) was that the shower in our room was tiny. The shower curtain stuck to us and if you moved away from it then you leant on the temperature lever and either got boiling or freezing water on you! we are not big people either!

Absolutely wonderful. Our best stay on the island by far. A small BnB in a small quiet town on the slopes. Wonderful roof terrace and delicious breakfasts. Friendly hosts. Room was huge and beautiful with two armchairs, a desk and large windows. Definitely recommend if you want to get off the beaten track and the crowds, stay local and have a good base for exploring. We went to an amazing restaurant nearby called Conesa, just a hole in the wall with wine and cheese and ham, but an unforgettable experience. A must visit. And La Candelaria was very nice too, especially for New Year's with all their lights and decorations.

Parking was a bit tricky, as you could expect in a small town with narrow streets, but we found it nearby, and even closer the next day. It keep moving so you're either lucky, or will have to walk a bit. Also, the stairs to the first floor are pretty steep and long, just so you know what you're in for, but it's worth it. There's not much to do in town. The safe in the room was a bit tricky to set the code for, clearer instructions would help, but maybe that's already been fixed.

Beautiful, newly renovated property, that has tastefully combined its important place in local history with modern facilities. The hosts Arold and Alienka, where kind, gracious and always happy to chat about your day and give advice for what to see in the local area. Room was spacious, really nicely decorated in the local style, and beds were fabulous. Views and sounds from the windows were a constant delight. Breakfast was prepared fresh each morning by Arold; always something new each day and always plenty to get your day started right. Streets around the property are authentic & narrow and there is plenty to explore (but be aware everything is either up or down), great for the adventurous types. We would recommend getting hold of Gianni at Diamante Tours for personalised tours of the towns history and wider island tours. I have never met a more enthusiastic and passionate guide, his knowledge of the island is amazing, and he has some of the best stories.

Not a dislike as such, but you need to be fit & healthy to get around Ingenio, or have transport. Public transport is limited and you would need a vehicle (or taxis) to see more of the island - Arold & Alienka can get hold of taxis for you. Limited number of places to eat out by foot (all be they nice places, serving good food, and good service at reasonable prices). We never did find out why the church bell rings every hour day and night, but you get used to it.

This is a gem in the historic centre of a Canarian hill top town, away from the hustle and bustle of the beach resorts. Arold and Alienka were the perfect hosts and nothing was too much trouble. We loved everything and would definitely stay here again. We stayed in the Casita which is a little house in the garden with a separate entrance from the main building. It was very private and we made use of the hot tub on the patio. The beds are amazingly comfortable and the breakfasts...wow! We had a delicious breakfast tortilla on the first morning and pancakes on the second morning. They very kindly provided us with an early breakfast as we had to get to the airport by 8am. As we were staying over the Easter weekend, Arold gave us some restaurant suggestions to pre-book and these were also fantastic (La Jicara Tasca and La Vicaria). All in all, highly recommended so do not hesitate to book here. It is probably easier to get here by car but we used buses and a taxi to the airport (approx 15 euros).

Friendly owners, great location if you want to avoid the big resorts and get a more local experience. Great breakfast that changes every day! Room was huge, and bed was very comfortable with a double bed including 2 blankets. Balcony that was secluded enough to allow you to keep the doors open at night for a fresh bit of air. Good car connection to all the major sites and the airport. Fresh bottles of drinking water in the room on a daily basis.

The tower clock bells keep going trough the night and are quite loud. You will get used to it but the first night it was an unpleasant surprise. Parking in a small inner town is not always easy. However, just 5 minutes walking away, you can find plenty of free parking spaces.

The location was quiet and an easy walk to bars and restaurants. The breakfasts were exceptional, something different every morning and thoughtfully prepared with high quality ingredients. Truly, the best breakfasts we've had in the past 10 years of travel. Outstanding hosts and a lovely property.

Everything was great! Will absolutely stay again!

This was the best B&B we have ever been to. If they have availability don't think about it twice; book it and enjoy the hospitality of Alienka and Arold. The breakfast is delicious and you get plenty to eat. The view from the rooftop terrace is spectacular. They provide all information needed for an exceptional vacation. The rooms are spacious, well equipped, pleasant lights, a coffee machine, comfy beds and it is really quiet at night. We were sad that we already left after three nights. We wished we could have extended our stay. Ingenio is a lovely town rich in history and although close to the airport you do not hear anything. We definitely come back and highly recommend Villa Nestor! Parking is easy and always space available around the corner of the house.

All wonderful!!! We couldn't wish for better!
