Delicious and various breakfast, very comfortable beds, well communicated with the centre of Barcelona. Some things in the room were broken but I reported that and it was repaired the same day.

It looked like nobody is checking if everything works in the room. Door to the bathroom was broken, electric plug was broken, shower was broken etc etc. But as I said before: it was immediately repaired as soon as I reported it at the reception desk. So I think that hotel should check the conditions of the facilities more often.

The view from my 11th floor room was magnificent. The breakfast was abundant, fresh, and very tasty. It fuelled me up for my daily touring of the wonderful city of Barcelona. The location was perfect....next to a metro station but in a quiet and safe area of Barcelona. The cleanliness was outstanding, whilst the staff was efficient without being invasive. Particular thanks to the front office leader Lorena. I want to point out something in particular. In one particular day the staff made an error and I immediately complained. It was evident that it was a human error, but the reaction from the front office staff was exceptional. They rectified the matters by taking immediate corrective action. Only God is perfect. All the rest of us make mistakes. However, in the services industry, mistakes can be seen as an opportunity to further impress your clients if you manage to rectify them in an appropriate manner. The staff at the Hampton by Hilton did a textbook case of this situation, and they came out with flying colours. I definitely recommend this Hotel.

It may seem stupid.....but a toilet brush is an important accessory in a bathroom.

Very nice hotel, very clean, very close to a metro stop. The breakfast was also really nice it vegetarian friendly even though I think more can be done to prevent cross contamination.

The night staff were rude whenever we had any interaction with them. We didnt really have any interaction with the morning staff as we were out of the hotel during the day time so cannot speak for them. The temperature of the water in the room would also fluctuate at times. It would be very hot sometimes where we could turn it all the way to the cold side and it would still be too hot to touch or too cold for a shower.

Good breakfast with lots of options. Not exactly gourmet but gets the belly full for sure. Rooms small but comfortable and quiet. Nice, basic gym. Location outside the city centre, next to mostly business buildings and other hotels. A good option for those who dont like the busier and noisier parts of town. Very close to the airport, a quick direct metro ride away. A nice shopping mall next door, handy for food and other necessities.

Minor things: Window difficult to close. Shower had a loose bolt.

Check in process was great, they were able to give us the room on the spot. The room was clean, quite small, but great for 2 pers. Talked at reception in advance and they gave us a little to go bag with something to eat when leaving as it was too early for breakfast.

The breakfast was definitely repetitive. Wanted to order something to eat, there is no option of room-service, which you would expect. Usually you get at least a bottle of water in the room when checking in The price was a bit steep for the conditions.

I love that I was able to communicate with the stuff to get what I wanted on time each day. The Cleanness of the place and the best part for me was the air-conditioning in my room. Thank you for being a good host.

The only thing I didn't like was those taxi drivers. They majority of them kept overcharging every time I'd book them to for a specific destination. I learned to ask the prices before going.

ABEL JUTTENPEKER at Reception helped book my tickets for local excursions and also for a day trip to Girona and Figueres. He was very helpful and knowledgeable. He also helped book taxis for me and offered advice on the best local APP based Cab Services which was very useful as I could get around Barcelona very easily using Free Now. The rest of the Staff were also very polite and helpful at all times. The Hotel was very clean and new and I enjoyed my Stay very much at the Hampton by Hilton and really look forward to returning once again. Nandini Dayal

The room was new and well set up. The view was very good .

Clean. Friendly staff. Had a bag hold room. Good breakfast. Barcelona is a big city. This hotel is a bit far from the city center (tourist areas) we had bikes so getting around was not a problem and loads of fun actually. it is also close to public transportation stations and we saw plenty of bus stops. Next time I go to a large city I don't know I will go to a tour bus site to see which sites where they drive around to get a better sense of scale.

Good service and hotel

There's no need to change the towels every day!(and I have the feeling that the bedsheets were changed as well)... Despite leaving the towels hanging after shower, we found that these were being changed each day. We asked the cleaning lady to not change them and that we were happy to reuse the same ones, but she would still leave us additional fresh towels. I guess it's hotel policy. Please think of the environment.

Room was reasonably big (although without a wardrobe for unpacking 2 pieces of carry-on luggage), very clean and pretty quiet. Location is very convenient because it is 5 minutes to the subway. Thanks to the staff for storing our bags the last half-day, which allowed us to fully use all the time of our vacation.

The staff told us that the hotel is full so we had a time slot assigned (7-8 or 10-11) for the breakfast (but I haven't seen it enforced to be honest) and we got a room on the mezzanine floor (even if we booked months in advance). Anyway, the overall experience was very good and I understand this might happen in peak season.
