Good location and excellent breakfast. We were on B&B but arrived at 8.30pm, but were able to get dinner which was great after a long journey. The hotel has spacious areas where you can sit and relax & outdoor area was good.

No tea/coffee provision in room

Reception area was very pleasant and staff very efficient and friendly. Outdoor pool area was very spacious and inviting. Pool bar and snack area very comfortable. Buffet hall was very clean, well staffed and well stocked with an excellent selection of hot and cold food. Lifts very efficient and no waiting time even though I was going all the way to the 15th floor! Bed room was good size with a separate large bathroom and balcony with side sea view. Bed was very comfortable. Room cleaned daily with change of towels etc.

Had to pay a deposit for a pool towel and a daily charge for a fresh towel. Balcony door lock was damaged and not usable. A separate door chain installed was too long and not safe or secure too use. I had no choice but to pay an extra daily charge for the room safety box.

Stayed for 6 nights half board in a xtra double room with view, the room was lovely with no issues, perfect central location. The food was varied cooked well and warm. .

The hotel itself looks a bit of an eyesore and could do with a bit of painting. We did hear a few guests complaining that the package they booked only had a standard room and was tiny and awful, most upgraded at extra costs, however I booked my room via booking.com so knew what to expect.

Everything was great apart from something what is not your fault. The Hotel is Old and is built like a storage Heater so it sucks in to the bricks the sun of the day and then radiates the heat inside at night making sleeping almost imposable.

Night Heat

The food, I mean for breakfast and dinner was delicious and had a big variety of different meats and vegetables. The beach was really close to the hotel and we had a beautiful sight on it. The staff were very nice and helpful. This hotel is perfect for families and for couples as well. Great place to have some rest and fun. We loved and enjoyed it overall and I think it is worth the money. I am sure we’ll go back.

The room really needs a renovation. The furniture and the ceiling were old and stained. There wasn’t a fridge or minibar in the room.

We have just come back from a 10 night stay. After reading the reviews we were not sure what to expect when we got to the hotel, but we need not have worried. Granted from the outside the hotel is not much to look at, but inside is different. White floors and walls. The room was comfortable we did go for a room with aircon, which was needed, and a fridge. The room was cleaned everyday, the hotel and grounds were spotless. We stayed half board, the food was good, plenty of choice.

There was nothing that we did not like, but would suggest that more barstaff are on at the pool bar, as was they only bar open during the day and evening and could get really busy.

All inclusive was excellent value for money. Every meal was varied and covered all requirements. Our room was the Xtra and the bed was immense. The room was clean bright and airy with a great view over the town from the balcony. Location is walking distance, 3 minutes, to the many shops, restaurants and beaches.

I did not like the amount of mobility scooters using the prom walk and it was all a bit too Brits Abroad for me, but that's personal choice, the town was clean and the facilities were all there, if that is what you prefer.

The main woman at the reception desk (who's name was something like Elsbeth?). She dealt with everything / everybody well. Bright room with good view (7th floor). UK tv channels! (We'd been away for 3 weeks so it was nice to see.) Fair amount of variety in the evening buffet (though we only stayed at the hotel for one night).

The restaurant was chaos! Very busy and things in bizarre places (ie not next to things that you would think go together!). It also felt like you were in a huge games or school hall (very open, bright lightinging, not atmosphere). The indoor bar was awful (a 'sports' bar with no seating) so you had to sit in the main lounge area with people coming and going. Not very relaxing.

Very good hotel with comfortable rooms , big balconies and beautiful both sea and city views. There is a nice swimming pool with a good bar. I really enjoyed food in the restaurant , not only it was tasty but also has great choices. Big bonus to this hotel is its entertainment team. There were organized not only sport activities, evening performances, dancing but also great variety of very interesting master classes ( canarian crafts, chocolate making, painting), food testing, demo cocktail making, canarian food presentation ... All in all I think Sol Arona is one of the best hotels in Los Christianos

Bath tub in the nice modern bathroom was very small and dated.

Location, price, excellent service , sumptuous breakfast. Very clean. Friendly and helpful staff.
