I made a reservation for 3 adults unfortunately one of us didn't show up at airport due a positive covid test. Arriving at the hotel reception Alejandro,very efficient, helped us by calling Booking and I got a credit for the difference between a triple room and a double room. Excellent location place callao,

We got the 3 beds room reserved although we were only 2 finally. The room, extremely small, had only 3 beds, no other furnitures, it was much too small for 3 beds, a table and one chaire at the entrence,the bathroom had a comfortible size and shower. Poorly soundproofed, noisy inside and outside the establishment. Hotel is located on the 7th floor only one elevator Breakfast on the 9th floor ; the only positive point was the view , the food choosen from a menu was greasy and tasteless , after one experience we ended by ordering only coffee and a croissant.

The hotel is on an old property on one of the top floors. The room is comfy enough,with heatimg (although not on on the mornings, despite being very cold in November). The bathroom is clean and decent. The breakfast is on the rooftop, but not enough places, you may have to sit on the open rooftop terrace, which is cold. But the breakfast itself is good, some set dishes and fruit. Location is fab as makes up for any other issues. I'd book again, so recommend!

Excellent location, bedroom with an amazing view over Callao. On the same building there is a terrace bar, also interesting. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The possibility to leave our luggage in a locker at a very reduced price is an excellent option for backpacking tourists. WIth the offer we got from Booking, this hotel was great value for money.

Nothing in particular. The room gets a bit hot during the day, but it is normal as it is rather small and has a big window.

So close to everything and room size was good for 3 people with a nice balcony view of callao. The hostal let us leave the baggage even before checkin (althought before arriving i tried contacting them because i wasnt sure if we can leave the baggage prior checkin but it was imposible. Thankfully it wasnt a problem)

There was only one elevator for the whole building and many floors are hostals so it was very slow and cramped. At first the room smelled like cleaning product but i guess thats a sign that they cleaned before letting us in.

The location of this hotel is just awesome: on Gran Via and only two blocks from Puerta del Sol. Having breakfast on a terrace overlooking Madrid's skyline was priceless. The elevator is old and slow, but there is actually one!

The room size could have been bigger and better value for money.

The elevator. It is only one lift for the whole building and there are several hostels in there and it takes time to go up and down. First day, lift stop working the whole day. This hostel is at 7th floor. Not that sound proffered as I would like. You can hear conversations from the hall and even.from the room next door. Be aware that the main door downstairs close around 11pm and it was so difficult to call the reception to open it, I had to wait for someone going out to finally get to the building… about 15-20 minutes!

I love its location as its in the middle of everything, restaurants, stores and a lot more were available near the Hostel.

I had booked my stay a month prior to arriving there they told me that they couldn't see my booking so they gave my room to someone else. They ended up giving me a different room but it was very noisy. There was also no mirrors in my room.

Situated on Gran Via (perfect location), easy to find and reach. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. Although situated on one of the most noisy and crowded street, it was very quiet (quiet from noise outside).

The reception is in the middle of the hall, where most of the rooms are, so it get very noisy when someone arrive or just when someone get back from walk. The main door of the building is locked during the night and guests doesn't have keys, so anyone should ring the bell. Every ring of the doorbell as well as every entrance in the Hostel is very noisy (especially during the night).

Very good central location, easy to find, 2 comfortable single beds. Clean linen, large shower and small balcony with city veiw. Small but tasty breakfast served on the roof top terrace, friendly helpful staff. I read a review that said it was noisy but I honestly slept soundly with no disturbances.

No coffee/tea facility in room. No drinking glasses, a little basic but for the price and location I cant grumble
