This room was fairly spacious, and the bathroom was well equipped. There was a coworking space on the floor and a gym on the top floor. There was technically a laundry room, but more on that below. They also let me check in early. Close to the center, just across the (dry) river.

No soap provided. No cutlery or dishes in the room, and the common kitchen cafeteria was through a courtyard and was full of other people's dirty dishes in the sink. I did not eat there. The washing machines left a strange smell on the clothes. Also, one day they were broken. There were smashed bugs/mosquitoes on the walls and window blinds. I assume that's because the building had an inside patio, and many doors/windows facing it were kept open, so they just flew in. Still gross. Also, I used to live around the area, but I never noticed that the little plaza behind the Ibis and in front of this residence was homeless folks' hangout/sleeping spot at night. There was literally the same guy sleeping on a bench in front of the building.

The room was on the 2nd floor with a reasonable view. It is an ideal room for a solo traveller or even two persons. Good lighting, aircon, ensuite. Fridge. Desk , chair and lamp. It is located centrally just a few minutes away next to some hotels. Ideal to walk to coach, bus pickup points, metro or the centro. Staff on reception were pleasant and helpful with my requests. I asked and was able to use the kitchen facility if needed. When I needed the room cleaned as I stayed a week this was done.

It is important to stay on the 2nd floor as the ground floor maybe noisy due to some social housing projects closeby and noise from the residents in the square, not the students! Albeit it seemed to quieten by 12.

I had a great stay. Very spacious shower with great water pressure. Room although not too big, was not tiny, was very well organised with two large fitted wardrobes, shelves and very long desk. Very clean. My double bed was extremaly comfrortable, great matress and long pillow. I absolutely loved the air con- proper piece of equipment providing me with range of settings that were working precisely to my needs. I was located on the 1st floor, I heard zero noises from social area at the ground floor (someone had birthday and I heard nothing). And location- minutes from old town, surrounded by grocery stores and best vegan food spots I have been to. I had a great stay, very good value for money. Gracias!

It is a pity that there is no access to the kitchen. Meal preparation area would be a useful amenity for trying local food.

Facilities are clean and modern. Quiet and really good location near the river (which had no water). A short walk to central, old part of the city. Good to have a mini fridge. Coffee available in nearby machines. About a 20 minute walk to the bus and train stations. Staff are helpful. Secure building.

Would have been good to have a kettle or coffee maker in the room. No housecleaning during my 3-day stay. Room was on the first floor, at eye-level to passerbyers on the street. Room was small, but was expected. A bit confusing to walk from bus station to the university -- a number of roundabouts, and easy to go in wrong direction. None of this would prevent me from a return stay.

Great location - many things in walking distance (2 mins from cafe and a restaurant, 4 mins from supermarket Lidl, 5-15 mins to city centre, close to shopping centre El Corto Ingles, close to train station for a train ariving from airport). Air conditioning Fridge with cooler Big wardrobe Nice shared terrace on the top floor of the dorm Machines with coffee and sweets in dorm.

We didn't get glasses or any kitchenware (one glass, a plate and cutlery per person would be great) Size of the room - two people can't bypass each other. Access to bed only from one side There is a little space for drying clothes, more hangers would be useful

It is clean and quiet. They accommodated me in another room when the air conditioning did not work. They provided a laundry card when the laundry payment system was down. Fridge and microwave included.

Other Resas I have stayed in included breakfast which would have been nice. The rooms were also smaller but fine. The area has some homeless areas nearby but still felt quite safe given the amount of foot traffic. Check in attendant did not greet or explain any features, whereas the morning attendant was very helpful.

For this price a truly great location short walk from market and centre. Staff were really helpful and friendly and provided hairdryers etc.

There was a terrible stagnant water/drain odour. The cleaning assistant said it depended on the weather. It was bearable for one night with windows open but longer would have been non negotiable. Needs drain management and dose of bleach.

The place is beautiful, clean, and there is air conditioning.

No kitchen to access. I mean for a payment of 500 euros or more I’d expect them to allow the use of kitchen. However they made it restricted. They had a timer on air conditioner to close an hour, which took time until I was able to remove it. The staff are not round the clock in lobby. Sometimes you have to wait. No number to call when no one is in lobby.. Spain booking.com number speaks only in Spanish…… They don’t give rooms with a view. They reserve this to their special visitors or people who work with ef maybe to impress them and to get more work from them in future, so I got a terrible no view side looking at a wall outside of the window..

Absolutely the crowning achievement of the entire trip for value! We paid 300% LESS than the hotels touching the same property. We knew exactly what we wanted. #1 working AC and plumbing, #2 Safe, secure location, #3 clean, healthy accomodation. What the room small? yes, as expected. Was the water super hot? Yes! Was the AC reliable and even? Yes! The hotel staff were the best part! They speak the best English, although my trip was to study Spanish, they could do both. I LOVED the staff! I loved the location. Being close to an apartment where Spaniards live, we got to meet folks, and their dogs, and family, the REAL Spain. Could not believe how close we were to hotels charging up to $375 a night!! Walking distance to EVERYTHING.

If I must say something, I'd like better, thicker pillows. Truly, however, I´m having to reach. I wasn't familiar with the hotel card in the slot at the door to keep the AC and lights running. At first, the shower overwhelmed the drain but, the problem is more that the flow is too strong at full than the drain is inadequate. After the first day, we found a happy balance and had zero issues. The staff is delightfully candid about your most sincere curiosity of Málaga. Bus route #2 across the street goes to the Botanical Garden in Jardín ciudad. Easy ride, 8 stops, 20 minutes, every 20 minutes.

This accommodation is centrally located near the last stop of the airport transfer by RENFE C1. The accommodation is meant for students, but they rent some space to tourists. Most touristic locations are a short walk away.

The only downside was that the kitchen was only accessible for residents.
