I booked this Hotel because of its central position. The bus stops are just 50m away and the buses do a loop of the beach and the mountains. The Hotel is clean and tidy with everything you need, if it is not in the room just ask the very helpful and lovely staff. I asked for extra pillows and got them within minutes. The swimming pool is good size and clean. During our stay it was never crowded. Views from room balcony very scenic. Breakfast was quick and tasty with refills of coffee / juice available on request.

The only down side were the stairs going up to the room and the stairs going down to the bottom floor where you need to go to access the pool. Other than that, it was a great stay.

The room was an adequate size and had a view of the garden. The location was good for us as a family without young children. The staff were very helpful and breakfast was simple but good. The bed linen was immaculately clean and well made. The towels and linen smelt lovely and was freshly washed. The pool area was lovely although we didn’t use the pool

The shower was broken on the tap, the lever to pull up to be able to use the shower was broken off but we managed to make it work. This wouldn’t deter us from returning

Hotel Simon is perfectly positioned at the base of the Pueblo and the beach is just a mike or so down the hill. Buses run quite regularly both up to the Pueblo and to the Playa. The views from the top of the Pueblo are absolutely stunning. There are lots of cafes, bars and restaurants, most with terraces, where you can relax after the fairly steep climb to the top. Sensible foot wear is recommended for the narrow steep streets where you will find delightful little shops selling jewellery and beautiful handmade clothes. Fantastic place, highly recommend a visit. The beach is about 2 miles long but is much nicer one end than the other and also there is a better selection of restaurants too, so we preferred the area towards the direction of Carboneras. Mojacar is so pretty you won't be sorry you visited!

Room was basic but adequate, with comfortable bed and a side balcony area with a decent view. Breakfast was included, again quite basic but very adequate. Actually very nice location at the foot of the steeply rising terrain that is Mojacar. Great views from the top of the hill. Hotel has swimming pool but due to time of year (end of November) I didn't sample it. In beautiful surroundings with many orange trees and good off-road parking. I would stay there again.

Quite a small room, with a very small TV, but only a minor issue as I didn't intend to watch much TV anyway. Maybe an issue for some

The room was quite spacious, with a good bathroom and lovely views from the balcony. Staff were helpful. Beds were comfortable Free Parking was an added bonus as was the breakfast which was included in the price and quite substantial. A good location right at the foot of the old town.

The car park did not seem to have any access to and from the hotel, which made transporting suitcases difficult as you have to drag them up quite a steep hill to get to the entrance of the hotel.

The hotel is basic but very clean , the owners & staff were fantastic. The view from our balcony was great & it was so peaceful & relaxing

The only problem we had was the electrics could do with updating. I know it's only a continental breakfast but the choices could be better . As in cereals maybe fruit & a few more choice only got tea juice & toast which was lovely but still felt hungry

The pool and gardens were lovely. Plenty of parking, and a lovely pool. Very close to the bus stop which made getting to the old town very easy. Nice terrace to sit on in the evening.

I found the breakfast a little disappointing. Of course it is a traditional Spanish hotel, but breakfast was toast only, absolutely nothing else.

Absolute value for money. The place was terrific. Clean, friendly, ideal location for accessing the “old town” - bus stop right outside if you didn’t fancy walking. And the pool - beautiful. And value for money…… I told them thèy should put their prices up!! And the shower - the best/strongest pressure I have ever had - and I’ve stayed in 5 star hotels. If you’re going to Mojacar old town, stay here, you will not be disappointed.

We spent a night at the Hotel Simon whilst visiting Mojacar. First, the location, it is at the bottom of the town, approx. A 10 minute walk up the hill to the centre, however that is also a bonus, its great parking, you dont have to worry about driving hilly windy streets and if you dont fancy a walk, the bus stop is right outside with the bus times displayed in the hotel. The hotel is perfect for a nice getaway, its not The Ritz, but it is very clean, very comfortable, has air con, nice bathroom, and wifi in room (which is not advertised so was a bonus). If you want, there is a very pleasant, clean and appealing pool area, and gardens decked with orange trees. The biggest bonus was breakfast. It is a basic contintental breakfast, but I am an annoying Vegeterian Coeliac, who has issues wherever - not here !, gluten free tostado, gluten free muffins, ofange juice and plenty of tea or coffee. I forgot to book this so was expecting just a drink, so was very grateful. All in all, hotel was utterly perfect for a short break and would stay again in a heartbeat. Thank you
