The hotel is very well maintained, everything is new and in perfect condition: the rooms are spacious, the gardens are green despite summer heat, the swimming pools are big with plenty of sunbeds, and the restaurants have lots of tables both inside and on the terrace. Cleanness is 100%, everything is spotless. Lots of staff at reception (special thanks to Javier) and restaurants (thanks Africa for being so kind to our son). Everyone is smiling, friendly and accommodating – which is rare these days. Most pleasantly surprising was that a small dinner buffet was waiting for us in the room when we arrived and checked in late at night, starving! Location is good for beach access, only 2 min walk, but not ideal for families with small kids – it turns into a loud drunk teenager street festival in the evenings. It’s not noisy inside the hotel itself, but not nice to see that crowd on the evening walk with your toddler. The snacks, drinks and food are very reasonably priced, no need to get your beer from the supermarket (which by the way is across the street). Also, right by the gate on the street is a car rental place and the bus stop, where you can take the bus to the airport or Palma City.

One big minus and a small one: - there is ABSOLUTELY NO entertainment for kids. No clowns, no shows, no music, nothing. - the food at the buffet is good and varied – you can always find plenty of things to eat, but it’s not to die for.

The hotel met all out expectations, and I would like to say extra good words for all the staff from housekeeping to restaurant. Everyone was super professional during our stay. The hotel itself is one, or maybe the newest in the area, so everything is still fresh and well maintained. We had half board, and I think this is the best choice, cause hotel has a very decent food, and you won't find many decent places to eat in this area, and even if, you will pay 15-18 euros for pizza. I would really recommend this hotel.

It's kinda bad located pool area inside, cause you have to go through couple cold areas, and elevator area is near parking lot, so most of the time it is very cold. We were with 2 year son, so after pool we had to put him in couple towels, just to make sure he won't get sick. We booked couple full body massages, and from my earlier experience, I expected much more. Massage was so so, really on the downside and the SPA area just ok. As I said the hotel itself is much better and SPA is kinda what you could expected from mid rate hotel, but not the 9+.

Beautiful grounds, multiple pools. The breakfast had so much variety, gluten free bread was available. The room was spotless, quite modern and so much attention to detail. Spotlessly clean, nice staff. Would 100% come back!

I wished there were more gluten free choices (pastries, cereal, etc), and that other foods were marked as gluten free or not. We had to guess/ask. There was gluten free bread but we weren't told about this, so we had to ask every day, and we didn't know the process. At one point the staff seemed to be fed up with us requesting gluten free bread and requested that we had to find a table first before asking for it (how were we supposed to know?)

While my overall experience at Hipotels Gran Playa de Palma was exceptional, it is worth mentioning that the location does have a downside. The presence of drunk party-goers in the surrounding area can be a bit of a nuisance, particularly during late-night hours. However, I found that the hotel's efficient soundproofing measures helped minimize any disturbances, allowing me to enjoy a good night's sleep undisturbed.

Hotel is modern and very clean. Pools and spa facilities are great. Breakfast selection is amazing. Possibility to rent bicycles. Very close to shops, restaurants and beach.

No tea or coffee facilities available in the bedroom not even a bottle of water for this kind of hotel you would expect at least that. Atmosphere in the restaurant feel a bit overwhelming due to so many people. Personal at reception were just ok we did not feel very welcome. We have not been asked if our stay was good. No chit chat straight to the point. No discussion about what we could do in the area etc. Maybe they are used to a certain type of clientele.

I was travelling solo, but visiting friends in Palma. On my request I've received a quiet room at the end of the hall, I liked that room very much as it is on a corner and not in front of MegaPark. The gardens of this hotel are so beautifull and extremely well maintained, I've stayed in many hotels in Palma before, this hotel became my favorite as it's still very new and modern, it's a big hotel but yet very peacefull, large rooms, spacious open reception and lounge downstairs, I love the architecture inside and outside, beds are very comfortable, food well presented and many choices, 2 large pools. The cleaning lady of my room is such a sweatheart, I did not have the chance to thank her as I was checking out at 7am. I will go again soon

The location is ideal Is a new hotel Rooftop bar is spectacular Even though our flight was in the evening we were allowed to stay at the pool and even shower in the Spa Area. The reception was always friendly and reacting quickly. Parking is free of charge and easily to access It has also charging stations for electric vehicles

The restaurant staff wasn’t very friendly The sheets have not been changed 5 days long and when asked explicitly to change them, we’ve been told that they usually don’t change the sheets but ours had some unremovable stains which weren’t caused by us. The cleaning was superficial, the floor wasn’t really cleaned or vacuumed, only superficially swipped. The pool restaurant was not at all at our taste The drinks were quite pricey there. Breakfast wasn’t diverse, almost same stuff everyday The dinner dishes were very basic

The hotel is new, with nice and large rooms (for junior suit) and terrace. There are plenty of activities you can do on the premises: spa center, gym, sport classes, pool, etc. The catering/gastronomic services include a variety of local products. The breakfast and dinner are extremely well balanced with plenty of options for each preferences. The bus stop for both the city center and the airport is located just behind the hotel. It takes you 30 min to reach both of them. The hotel and the area is very much loved by Germans.

The hotel was clean, modern and very welcoming, the grounds were well kept and lovely. The room was spacious and lovely, cleaned every day. The pool was warm and large, plenty of rooms for kids and adults, pool staff were great fun and offered my 5 year old daughter swimming tips. The food was lovely and different every night, you could tell the chefs took pride in what they put out. Staff were always friendly and attentive. We have stayed in a Hipotels hotel before and are always great.

The location wasn't the best as it was right behind a German drinking park, although it did not affect our experience, you just need to avoid the front of that particular area including the beach in that area, but either side was lovely and you were right near nice restaurants and bars. The hotel evening entertainment was very low key and focused for the German guests. This could be improved with more varied acts and also there was no early evening kids entertainment.
