This hotel deserves a much better rating than it has. The bed is one of the most comfortable we have slept in on the Camino. While some aspects are a little dated, everything was spotless. The staff are very helpful and the location great. We have no problem recommending this hotel.

The traffic noise is a little loud but earplugs fixed that. There is no AC but they do supply a fan and it did the job. We had a great sleep and it’s easy access to the Camino route.

Good location for old town plus the Camino and the staff were very friendly. They also had a nice early breakfast available which saved us having to hunt for breakfast during low tourist season when lots of places are closed / open later. Breakfast was available at 7.30am

It’s a little older than some of the other hotels but it’s great value for money and very clean etc. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

The hot water and bathtub were so enjoyable after a day of walking on the Camino! The location of the hotel was close to the Camino and local sites/restaurants.

The guests below us were smoking out of their window most of the afternoon and it made our room smell very bad. We couldn’t keep the big, beautiful windows open because of the smoke (and this also meant that we couldn’t dry our clothes with the windows open).

The bed and the pillow were very comfortable! Even though the room was small it had every thing i needed. The most important thing was that the staff were so ver helpful! It made all the difference. I was showed exactly where all the things in town that I needed were located. It meant a lot to me that the receptionist spoke perfect English and told me where the camino started for the next day. That was very thoughtful.

Very nice quality hotel near the center that offers parking and breakfast for a reasonable price. The reception and staff were excellent and super helpful in every way. Breakfast buffet was great.

The bed was good though not great and the parking was very convenient but a bit of a tight squeeze for my not so compact rental.

Location was very good for accessing the historic centre. Staff very helpful in letting us leave our bags before checkin

There were no food or drink facilities at the hotel on the Sunday evening when the town was pretty much ‘closed’ was not what I had expected. The receptionist did then manage to source some drinks for us but as a hotel I had expected wider facilities

The Front desk staff really sets a nice professional tone. The room that I stayed in was perfect for me. The location allowed me to go for walks as everything was close by. The restaurant/server/attendant did a great job with the breakfast buffet. He kept everything nicely replenished and he also made great cafés.

Everything met my needs. The location was really nice. The park across the street was a nice place to sit and people watch. There were plenty of places to grab coffee or food near by.

Very comfy bed, cool lighting, good wifi, and a fan which really helped keep the room cool on a hot day. There was also a mini fridge big enough for some drinks and snacks. They let us check in early and even sent an email as soon as the room was ready. Such a nice surprise! They also have a camino stamp ☺️

Great room, great staff. Yes, older style furnishings but clean and functional and the room was huge by European standards. Also right next to great pedestrian arts of town with all the cafes, restaurants and shops. Overall great value.

It was late spring, and without A/C we needed to leave windows open which made it a little loud. Fine by us, but mid summer might be a bit sweltering. The did have a fan in the room which helps.

Room very clean. Back of hotel so very quiet. Location close to old town. Ventilator fan provided. Hotel v clean room fresh & airy. I was very pleasantly surprised with decor of room & hotel. I had read in some reviews that hotel could do with updating. Our room has been updated. Very pleasant decor friendly staff at reception even though it was busy. Fridge in room. Supermarket just around the corner from hotel. Good camino location

We were sent email previous days stating it was necessary to check in on line. I found this a bit stressful as we walking the camino. It transpired when we arrived at hotel it was not essential.. our book in was very efficient . It might be nice to include in the email the benefits of check in on line prior to arrival. Also advised that check in was 15.00 & we discovered on arrival we could have checked in earlier.
