The staff in general is always smiling and willing to be helpfull. Our room was large, very comfortable, clean, calm, the beds perfect, the terrace very sunny and the view on the seaside very pleasant. We have enjoyed the swimming pools, the sauna and the beauty of the gardens very well maintained. On top of that, we would like to pay a special tribute to the exceptional competence of the chefs and cooks who have delighted us with very varied and tasty theme evenings.

Would it be possible to significantly reduce the intensity of the musical animation around the pools? Or else to play pleasant soft music like the one played in the wellness centre ? This would certainly allow people to rest or better relax in a calm atmosphere.

have stayed here on a number of occasions but first time to stay in room 4093 small room and extremely small balcony!

Los Jameos is at the eastern end of the resort, 20 mins walk from the main centre, making it a more relaxed and informal setting which we really liked. It's opposite the beach, and a short stroll to the mirador where you can watch planes landing ... right over your head! (PS. - dont worry, there's no flight path noise at the hotel itself). It is a large and established complex, with designed originally with input from famous Lanzarote artist Cesar Manrique - this is apparent especially in the layout of the grounds, pools and public spaces. Happily, everything is maintained to a very high standard, and the whole effect is luxurious without being in the slightest bit flashy. Parking is easy and free, either at the side or in front of the hotel. The staff ... superb - from the cleaners, to the waiters, to reception ... all polite, smiling, efficient and combining to create a relaxed and courteous service from breakfast till bedtime! The buffet breakfasts and dinner (- we were HB x4 nights -) were varied, plentiful and freshly cooked in situ. Table and bar service was prompt - and prices were extremely reasonable. We hardly ever stay in large hotels like Los Jameos, but this was an axceptionally enjoyable stay and we would definitely. return and heartily recommend it.

We had a great stay at Seaside Los Jameos. The hotel is a very nicely kept hotel that is in front of the beach in the area of Puerto del Carmen. The hotel has a very distinct local identity, with great common areas that are built in the spirit of Lanzarote. We loved the internal cactus garden and all the facilities are well kept. The location, close to the aiport, but without disturbance of airplanes, was great. We stayed 2-3 days and then spent the rest of our vacation in a villa in the area of Playa Blanca. The staff is very helpful and friendly, and always working hard to meet the requests from clients. We stayed over new year's eve, which was probably peak period. Despite the high volume of guests the hotel kept the good service and we never heard any staff complaning. Maybe due to the high peak period we felt at some moments that a few additional staff members (in particular in the kitchen) may have been needed, but this didn't affect the quality of the service. Overall a great stay in a very distinct hotel.

The only part in which we would have suggestions for improvement is regarding the sound isolation of the rooms. Our room was close to the restaurant area and at some moments we felt noise linked to the preparation of space for the next day. For us this was not a major issue, but i can imagine that other guests may find this a disturbance. On this regard, we would advice other guests sensible to noise that they request one of the rooms further from the main building.

Food all of same high quality as when we last stayed at this hotel. Grounds, swimming pools and tennis courts all really well maintained. Animation team were excellent - all very friendly, enthusiastic and helpful like all staff members at Los Jameos Playa. Decor in Reception, Piano bar and Salon Berlingo all refreshed since our last visit back in 2019 and were looking great.

Beds could be more comfortable and room safe should be available at no extra cost. The music played throughout the day at the pool area was very repetitive so would suggest that this be changed on a daily basis (except for the Animation team theme song)

All food absolutely fantastic. Great selection and meat and fish cooked freshly at request. Great choice of drinks in A/I package. Entertainment is short in evenings but of a good standard. Location of hotel is fantastic, set in a beautitiful beach and with walking distance to shops, restaurants and bars.

Almost everyone in the Spa was naked! Whilst this might be ok for some it was not on with us and we felt very uncomfortable. We tried to use the spa once or twice but did not feel able to enjoy the experience and was a shame as this is something we normally enjoy. Be aware if this is something that is important when choosing accommodation. Also there is a nudist section In this hotel much to our horror was the view from our balcony which overlooked the area. When we complained we were immediately given another room with a much better view of the sea! Although evening entertainment was good the show only lasts 30/ 40 minutes, they could definitely extend the time as I feel it was finished way too quickly. Also please note that A/I drinks stop at 11pm

The manager of the restaurant was exceptional. He greeted lots of guests and organised the runnlng of the restaurant superbly. As I am currently having to use a walking stick a table was reserved for me near to the buffet area. This was really appreciated as it helped to reduce the pain.

I had requested sea view room if it was too far from the ground floor. When checking in I was told by Fabrizsio ( I think his name was and I have probably spelled it wrongly) that the room had a partial sea view. Unfortunately it did not! I therefore requested a different room that actually did have a sea view which was not available until the next day. I was allocated room 3034 for the next dat day which has a brilliant sea view. I was very grateful for this but of course had to pay for an extra day. This has put me off from probably booking again in the future.

Loved the room , size, layout and size of balcony. We arrived early and were very surprised and happy to have a room available ahead of check in time and with a sea view as per my request. Thank you! Pool area was lovely, room and balcony were spacious and clean.

Breakfast was way too busy from 8:45 on and there was no way people could adhere to 1.5 meters distance required for covid. The system of using serving spoons didn't facilitate compliance to covid hygiene as it would mean using sanitizier before and after using a spoon/fork which very few were doing. On a positive note ,the area was well ventilated and the tables were well spaced. A schedule for breakfast where only a certain number are allowed at each time slot would really help make it safer and more enjoyable.

We had walked in and checked out this hotel while on our most recent previous holiday in the area, having been visiting for over 12 years and had never stayed before in this hotel. We had wanted to stay there since before Covid and decided we would stay there, on our next visit over the New Year irrespective of price as we thought it was so nice. We loved it from check in to check out. We were greeted by a glass of cava on arrival after a 4 hour flight, lovely touch!. The Reception area has a wow factor. The Christmas and New Year decorations were excellent. We stayed in a deluxe double room in La Graciosa block and would insist on staying in that room again. The room is very comfortable, lovely bathroom, and is a good size with a big balcony including sunbeds, robes and slippers. We loved the view and the balcony orientation for the sunrise and sunset overlooking the beach and for the morning swim in the sea. The pools are plentiful and gorgeous. We found the food to be excellent and better selection and presentation than any other hotel in the area in our over 12 years experience. We particularly appreciated the friendly and professional staff particularly one manager, Kateryna who was just so helpful and welcoming and the dining staff who waited on us who were superb. The piano bar was enjoyed by us each night with our favourite being a particularly brilliant pianist who played modern classical music and wore a distinctive hat. We are sorry we did not get his name.

The only fault we found was that the air in the Berlingo bar (where most of the family type entertainment happened nightly) was usually too stale and stuffy in there to enjoy being in there and so we watched many shows from on the open air patio outside. Additional air conditioning would help probably.
