Gloria Palace is a very large, busy hotel with lots of activities, some are included in the price and some charge extra. There are also plenty of areas to relax in. We liked the pool areas and there were plenty of comfortable sun loungers available. We also played tennis and used the spa, which is very luxurious. We went to the disco on Friday night which was fun. My kids loved playing pool. The staff were mostly helpful and friendly but sometimes could be a bit abrupt. The area is OK - pretty quiet if you just want to stay in the hotel that is fine. There are a few shops and restaurants 10 min walk away. Playa de las Burras is nicer than San Agustin beach but very small. You can get a local bus to bigger places if you want more to do. We loved Puerto Rico and Puerto Mogan.

The food was OK. The freshly cooked food (pancakes and omelettes for breakfast, fish and meat for lunch and dinner) was really good but the buffet food was a bit repetitive and sometimes lukewarm. It would be good if the disco was open more than one night a week and if the pool tables were free or cheaper (2 euros a game is quite a lot!). More umbrellas around the pools would be good as sometimes we couldn't get one. We had one of the older rooms and there were no hooks or rails to hang towels on.

Gorbea restaurant not what it likes... really bad quality Breakfast buffet - to crowded and to many germans with bad maners, they react like monkeys who never have seen food

The hotel is very clean, kind stuff never boring we have entertainment every evening.

We stayed a week, the only thing we didn’t like was the breakfast buffet. It was boring after 2-3 days. The coffee is AWFUL everyone of us got tummy ache from it. No fresh vegetables for breakfast, no salad, only dry cucumber and tomatoes. In a Mediterranean place like this they should serve more vegetables, greens and healthy options.

Loverly view, hotel has a nice vibe to it, slightly out of the busyness but near lots of amazing restaurants and short taxi ride to the centre costing 3-5 euro for the centre, we used Google maps on arrival to find lots of great restaurants. Walking distance to beaches, also large supermarket near by say 10 minutes walk for room essentials, small supermarket under 5 minutes from the hotel as well. Rooms cleaned daily, beds very comfortable if you're light sleeper like myself don't worry here you'll sleep well. Also loverly rooftop bar make sure you go for a cocktail as they are very well made here, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. Make sure you take the boat trip to pureto de morgan, visiting was a highlight of our trip and of course the sand dunes, but wear trainers it's a decent walk, you'll find it hard in sandals.

Rooms were well cleaned by staff but under bed areas and some corners for dust could be improved upon, as other reviews said price was increased on arrival by say 50 euros, which is stated on the booking that it can change, other than that nothing.

I have chosen this hotel many times, as it is always a great experience. They are improving and getting better and better over years. Beautiful views, comfort, always good food, staff very kind. They have significantly improved quality of evening music since last year - all singers were enjoyable. Appreciate a lot and coming back soon.

Because of overbooking, we were given another room for the 1st night, before we could move into a room we had ordered. As a compensation we were upgraded to All Inclusive for that 1st day. I believe it could be a win-win for some people, while others value stability and predictability more and are stressed by additional moving in and out. Overall - no big issues to complain about.

This was the largest hotel I have ever stayed in. I was a little nervous. My purpose was a hillwalking holiday with my club, from Ireland. Solo travelling can be expensive. I opted not to stay at the selected group hotel, as it was twice the price of my Gloria Palace stay. The hotel is fabulous. One need never leave, simply enjoy the facilities and entertainment. Gloria Palace has thought of everything and really strives to give all holiday makers of all ages, a good time.

The only negatives were: 1. The beach is a bit of a walk, but the hotel has a complimentary service to compensate. 2. The hill up to the hotel after some socialising in the commercial centre, is a little steep. I loved my stay in Gloria Palace and am tempted to bring my family, of 3 generations, for a significant birthday in the future. Many thanks to all the staff

Although i like to get out and get a real feel of the country, this hotel is one of them hotels where you dont actually need to leave. It has pool, bars, restaurants, nightclub, shops, rooftop bar, day and night entertainment. It really is a great hotel. The rooms are lovely, the view was beautiful. I cannot say it was a bad stay at all.

I paid extra when i booked to get a sea view room. Upon arrival i was given a key to one of the basement rooms with a tree as my view so i went straight back to reception to get back what i paid for. I then got to the room on the 4th floor and the key wasn't working so i had to go back down to reception to get another key. Then when I get into the room, there was no travel cot which i asked for as I bought my baby. So not a great start. Wasn't overly impressed with the breakfast, there was pork everywhere. The scrambled egg was extremely gooey every morning, they had no beans, basically not much of an English brekkie and again all sausages were pork. But overall, it was lovely and the staff were really hospitable.

The hotel was clean and well maintained. The staff were really polite and friendly. The rooftop bar is beautiful and Mila went above and beyond.

The hotel is further from playa del ingles than anticipated. there is a bud but the times are very limited. There was no laundry/iron option. We were woke at 8am and again at 10am by house keeping even though the do not disturb sign was on the door. We would have liked more food options for those who weren’t all inclusive.

I recently stayed at Gloria Palace San Agustín Thalasso & Hotel, and I can’t recommend this place enough! From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by the incredible service, the warm atmosphere, and the delicious food that made me feel right at home. As someone who loves home-cooked meals, I was amazed at how the restaurant’s food felt just like home. Even though I was miles away, I didn’t feel like I missed out on my usual comforts. The plantain in blanket was an absolute treat—so much so that I’ll definitely be recreating it for my family this Christmas! And the spinach with raisins? Let’s just say I’ve stolen the recipe because I loved it that much. A special thank you to Kamal for delivering a bottle of Provetto to my room on my birthday. That thoughtful gesture took me completely by surprise and made my birthday so much more special. The attention to detail and the personal touch truly warmed my heart—thank you, Gloria, for making my day unforgettable! For first-time solo travelers, this is the safest and most welcoming place to be. The team was absolutely incredible—patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely reassuring every step of the way. They explained everything clearly, ensured I was comfortable, and their passion for assisting guests was contagious. Everyone, from the friendly receptionists to the fantastic waiters and bartenders, worked seamlessly together. The entire team worked like a well-oiled machine. Their professionalism and enthusiasm didn’t go unnoticed, and it’s clear they are a true asset to the company. The night entertainment was the perfect cherry on top, adding that extra touch to an already amazing experience. Gloria Palace really offers the best of both worlds: the comfort of home and the excitement of being away. A huge thank you to the entire Gloria team for such a memorable stay! If you’re considering solo traveling, a family getaway, or a trip with friends, this is the perfect place to do it.

Very good shower, amazing sea and pool view, spacious room. We had half board and were able to switch a few days for lunch instead of dinner. Main courses varied daily, good quality, no lines at any time. Quite happy with the offerings. Bus stop was 5 min walk, so a cheap bus ticket got you easily to Playa Ingles in 10 min. Taxi was also quick and reasonable to/from. Never paid more than 12-13 Euros.

Rooms especially bathrooms could use a deeper clean than the good daily tidying, behind the sliding door etc. Be sure the candy bars positioned by the free water are also free before you eat them every day.
