Location location location! 7 min walk to the cathedral and almost everything else in Santa Cruz. 4 min away from a Carrefour Express as a convenience store. Hotel staff friendly and nice, good wifi, quiet location.
Nothing that I wasn't expecting from a budget friendly hotel. Room a bit small and bathroom a bit outdated, non smart tv, no kettle or mini fridge, but again, all this was kind of expected given the budget friendly price in a super location. Just as a side note, if you have mobility issues ask for a room on a lower floor (our was 3rd floor), as the stairs are quite steep and there's no elevator

Staff were exceedingly courteous and helpful both at check-in and checkout . The building does not have a lift and though I was initially allocated a second floor room this was quickly moved to the lower floor at my request. At checkout the gentleman on reception was extremely helpful with chasing up taxis for me when an Uber ride failed to materialise. The location of Hostal Sierpes is superb, my room was simple, clean and comfortable and the bathroom well appointed - air conditioning was very effective. I availed of local cafes for breakfast so can’t comment on the food.
The absence of a lift but my luggage was carried to my room.

Great location, lovely staff, charming building! The reception staff is so lovely and helpful and there all the time. The location is great, very central, yet still very quiet. There is also a lovely terrace on the second floor to enjoy the sky of Seville. Clean, central, quiet inside. My room had a slightly monastic vibe :). Great value for money.
I had the cheapest, one person room. I was surprised to find I did not have direct sunlight in my room (no direct window to outside - but a window towards the atrium), but I stayed only for one night so I did not mind.

Well situated, on a tiny quiet street but an short walk to restaurants and tourists sites. My single room was basic, but very clean, very adequate bathroom. It was a little unusual to me to have a window facing into the hotel courtyard, but that said, the room was cool even without the aircon. I didn't hear much noise, so managed two good nights' sleep. Staff very friendly, 24hr service, could leave my bad after checking out.
All fine.

Excellent location. Near ol the attractions but relatively quiet. Though in Seville you really do not need to stay in the old center - because it's so renovated that the feeling is almost lost in theese quarters. Clean and fresh room. Large bathroom. Beautiful setting with decorated atrium. Great value when you book early!
Bed could have been comfier. There is a practice school for flamenco in the building during the evenings så bring earplugs if you go to bed early.

A beautiful heritage building in an amazing location in the heart of Seville. Quiet and spacious. It has a gentle home feeling about it. The staff were very lovely. We were able to sit in the foyer in the afternoon after check out, before catching our flight. They also held our bags. It was a really amazing help. Great clean bathroom.
The bed was quite uncomfortable for us. Springy and flat pillows. It was also quite a light filled room at night with only very thin curtains. We unfortunately didn’t sleep well.

The Hotel was like a little Spanish haven, quaint and traditional. Breakfast was basic continental but for 3euro50 a bargain and sufficient. Rooms were clean and staff very attentive and polite. Carpets needed a hoovering in the hallway but again, no big deal. Location brilliant, albeit in the narrowest of streets for taxis to get in and out. Never saw the bar but then I didn't look for one either. If you're after a quirky, simple room/hotel this ticks all the boxes. My room was at the front (2nd floor) and very quiet at night....I'd definitely go back. I asked for a double bed and got one. First ever Solo trip abroad and absolutely loved it! I want to go back there.
I booked a taxi through the site and my pick up was so big he nearly got stuck, in fact he did damage his mirror and I felt awful so gave him a 10euro tip! Booking.com, you should make these taxis aware of the narrow route. My only gripe is I love waking to a coffee so nothing in the room however breakfast was served so quickly I had my coffee fix asap. And cafe's and bars were so close anyway. My shower head wasn't hanging properly so I used it by hand, didn't bother reporting it as I loved the place and made do as it worked ok. Finally my bedside socket was really stiff, so I had to use adapters elsewhere in bathroom and bedroom, as there were enough.

Friendly and helpful staff, location is close enough to most tourist attractions and very decent and well maintained building for its age. The rooms are adequately furnished with private bathroom and 24hr reception service. It is more like a hotel than a hostel. The hotel also provides very basic but decently priced breakfast to start your day.
There is nothing that I can think of within the control of the hotel.

The location of the Hotel was excellent eg very central but you needed to make a clear route map in your head to avoid getting lost in the narrow streets. Reception was always helpful and breakfast provided the best coffee experienced in three weeks in Portugal and Spain. I was impressed by the traditional look of the building eg the many tiled walls.
Unfortunately, the room was on the third floor, and at my age, some people would not have coped. The bathroom had a strange arrangement sitting on the toilet was only possible with one leg under the wash basin. I did wonder if the room was really meant for teenage children.

Great location in old town, a short walk from the cathedral. Building has a lot of character, with a pleasant atrium and a roof terrace. Room was basic but good value for the price and was clean, warm and had everything I needed.
Having to wait for the security door to be opened when entering and leaving the building was mildly inconvenient, though given the amount of foot traffic in the area the need for such a door was clear
