Location was amazing. Communication was excellent with the host via whatsapp. Very comfortable bed. Kitchen is well equipped. A bottle of champagne was waiting as a welcome present ( we did not use it but still the effort was kind ).

When we arrived it was not clean but after reporting the problem a cleaning lady was immediately sent to the location. We were really looking forward to the jacuzzi but there was none ( end of November ) so that was disappointing.

• Bed was not comfortable for us its very soft. Also no duvet filler, only sheets provided. We are used to thicker duvets in the UK - Perhaps a cultural / lifestyle difference, • Not really worth paying more for “private pool” in penthouse. It’s more like a 4ft by 4ft pool approx - so tiny. Pool is not heated as per notes, so it was cold & we didn’t use in November • Noisy outside - I was disturbed a few times by street noise • WiFi on TV didn’t load Netflix

Tiny issue: The front door to the building is extremely heavy and difficult to open when carrying bags... but this is such a minor thing. So take from this what you will about the place if this is the only bad thing to raise... :)

The location was exceptional and within walking distance of most sights (with one virtually on the doorstep). There is a good selection of bars and restaurants in the same street, yet it was quiet overnight as it is pedestrianised. It was a bonus to have the facility to make coffee, plus microwave etc. although we pretty much ate our meals out. The bed was comfortable and the AC worked well. We loved the terrace and balcony. Although we didn’t meet our hosts, they were good communicators and quickly fixed a problem with the hot water.

I would have liked more space for hanging clothes, especially long skirts and dresses. The bathroom grouting (corners etc.) could benefit from a deep clean or upgrade and the bathroom sink tap is in an awkward, fixed position, or maybe I missed something! The registration process could be difficult and over-complicated for the less technically equipped.

Great location, in the borders of the old city. Very friendly service and attentive to every need one may have. I stayed in a room with a private bathroom and air conditioning, everything was very comfortable.

You should be aware that the place is in front of a very busy place and there may be noise at night. Anyway, just one night we heard very loud noises

The location couldn’t be better just in the middle the downtown, please if anyone read my comment READ THE PDF, they send you on WhatsApp, instructions for the room door and hotel door are there, rooms are quiet small, but they are very clean, any enquire personnel will answer by WhatsApp immediately, highly recommended

Rooms are a bit small no place to put a big luggage, and the price I think it’s ok regarding the location it’s amazing

Welldone has a group of locations all over Seville, and we made an amazing choice, location wise, choosing this property. It is right on Plaza de la Encarnación with it’s magical color changing Largest Wooden Structure in the world literally steps from the front door. The plaza is ringed with restaurants at every price range so you never need to go far for great food. There is a breakfast place, LaMana that is perhaps 20 steps across the sidewalk where we ate every morning. We spent 5 nights here, and found it to be handy and walkable to most of Seville’s most iconic sites. Room was comfortable and had everything we needed. We intend to return next year for another visit to Seville.

ALERT: this next part was totally my doing. I requested a first floor room and that is what we got. However, I would not choose this room again because although there is a very large window, the room is quite dark. AGAIN, this choice was my fault. We were in the room very limited times…we were on vacation. Everything about the room otherwise was perfect. I just write this to be aware. On the plus side, the ease of accessing the Hotel and our room were more than adequate for our stay. Also, If you happen to be riding be aware there is no parking at the hotel. The closest is about 2 easy blocks away. Just be sure to ask the hotel, when you book, the address on the closest parking, and be aware GPS will take you the craziest way to the parking, but you will get there!

Great location! The room was lovely with nice decor and very clean. The view from our room (101) was stunning. The staff and check in process was really good. We loved the area and so close to everything in Seville. Perfect stay.

The bed was very comfortable but please add extra pillows for the bed or supply a better quality pillow. per person was not enough. We loved our stay however.

despite the fact that it was an automatic, the accommodation was excellent, the staff was in contact with me throughout, they booked theatre tickets at my request, they booked theatre tickets, your restaurant was booked, I am extremely satisfied with the place and can only recommend it.

it wasn't like that

We had an excellent stay at Welldone Metropol! The location is fantastic - right in the centre and walking distance to all of the main attractions and facilities – about 15mins on foot to the Cathedral and Alcazar, and about 20mins to the bus and train terminals. Great food, bar and shopping options all at your doorstop! We were in the Penthouse room, which was large, immaculately clean, air-conditioned, and well-appointed with a little kitchenette and big bathroom with a wonderful shower. The private terrace and pool was the perfect place to have a coffee in the mornings and to cool off after a day of sightseeing. And the view is spectacular! Given the hotel's location, the insulation did a very good job of minimising the sound from outside on the weekend nights – a small price to pay for being in the heart of such an amazing city! While we never actually met anybody in person, the staff were very attentive and responsive via WhatsApp. Someone contacted us every day to make sure that everything was OK and asking what we needed. Self check-in was easy, and they provided useful PDFs that gave us all the information we needed. Overall, I would highly recommend staying here!

It's not a fault of the hotel, but it is worth bearing in mind that the square does get quite busy on Friday (and presumably also Saturday) nights. The sound insulation in the room was very good, and so it didn't really bother us (it became like background 'white noise'), but you may want to consider it.
