The property itself is outstanding. You definitely have the feeling you were in a palace and being spoiled. It is truly beautiful and luxurious.! We considered the Parador however, there is absolutely no comparison! We stayed in room 213. The room is probably 600 ft.² it has an enormous king size bed, tall ceilings, wood floors, a bathroom with a bidet, huge shower, slippers, robes, and you feel very pampered.

What we didn’t like was the shower floor. It definitely needed some cleaning with bleach. We did address this with the front desk and before we went to bed they cleaned and made it much better, but it still needs a thorough cleaning.

The hotel is very good, it goes well with the style of the city. The staff was friendly, the breakfast was very good, the room was clean and very spacious, if I'm going back, I'll definitely stay there again.

The pool and the spa were closed or they were doing maintenance, so couldn't try it. There are only one or two temporary parking spots in front of the hotel, which makes your baggage drop from and to the hotel a little bit more complicated since there is no other space to park close to the hotel.

I liked everything about this hotel, firstly the actual building is exceptional, an old palace (also on the sightseeing tours- you see groups being told about it outside the entrance). It's also right in the centre of the old town within the old city walls, so you can walk everywhere really easily. The rooms are huge, and clean and have amazing decoration and facilities (including a toilet that that has a control panel on the side!!!) There is a swimming pool, lounge and comfy reception area. The breakfast was really good a large range of very good food.

It would have been nice if the swimming pool had some heating, my wife managed a very quick swim but it was too cold for me and it is quite nice after a long day of walking to have a dip before going out for dinner (but this in no way reduces the score, it was amazing that it had a pool at all) The Wifi in the room was not that great but once again that doesn't affect the score as you can get great reception in the reception area that has comfy seats.

Location is excellent in the heart of the old city of úbeda within walking distance of all sights and the modern city centre. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Bathroom was spacious and well laid out.

Wifi didn't really work at all outside of the common areas on the ground floor - understandably because it's a very old property. connectivity in the town generally was poor and many shops shunned card payment because of this, preferring cash. The electricals circuit in our room didn't work on one side although to be fair they immediately identified this and provided a table for use on the other side for the coffee machine. In the bathroom shampoo was provided in the shower using a fixed dispenser, as is often done these days BUT that meant that we had no shampoo to use in the bath, which was a feature of the bathroom. These are all niggles and overall it was a lovely place.

This is a beautiful hotel close to the centre of the town. The rooms are huge with everything required. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. I'd single out Miguel particularly who led me to the secure parking round a one-way street in front of my motorbike. He also assisted us with our luggage to our room. Also, the food in the hotel was excellent.

Tricky to find down a myriad of one-way, narrow streets off the town centre - even the satnav got confused before we found the hotel.

Very relaxing short stay in beautiful surroundings. We had an upgrade through Booking.com to a junior suite which was lovely and very good value. The room had historic features as well as modern bath and shower and very comfortable bed. The hotel offers gracious and comfortable areas for relaxing downstairs as well. We enjoyed the small rooftop swimming pool and views of the surrounding area. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The staff were friendly and helpful, the cold breakfast was freshly prepared with fresh orange juice, meats, fruit and pastries/bread and the quality of the food was excellent

a little disappointed that there was no cooked option, when we stayed but there were only two rooms occupied as it was outside of the tourist season. Our room was a bit 'tired', it needed painting and the curtains were unhooked in places which shouldn't have been the case.

Fabulous location, very attentive staff, great welcome - water or cava and overall architecture of the hotel. Bonus for these who travel via car - great parking.

It's a 5* hotel yet the furniture had burnt holes - a bit disappointing. Also I didn't like the lighting in the room -- too cool and without any ambience. Lastly, a little espresso coffee maker would be nice- standard addition in most hotels these days.

The welcome on arrival was amazing, Juan on reception was charming and very helpful. The hotel staff parked our car for us. We had a beautiful suite just perfect for romantic break in exquisite Ubeda.

The only let down was the service at breakfast unfortunately the waitress behaved as she didn't care at all.

This hotel has a great location. Is itself a destination too. The reception staff are great. One in particular had so much energy and just did everything. We have the most fabulos presidential suite for a couple of days and then a junior suite with good views so we could see the Easter processions. Would love to go back if we are ever in that area again.
