The location in a narrow street in the historic centre might have been splendid for exploring but was not so great for parking. However there were car parks not far away - though we did not find the "free" one until we'd already parked in the payable one! Efficient reception and an attractive entrance area led into a wholly acceptable room looking over the very narrow street. There were numerous (and better) options for dinner than the hotel restaurant but, though breakfast, was the slowest served that we had ever encountered, it eventually proved to be generous and fresh. There were many accommodation possibilities in the immediate area of the hotel but we had no reason to regret our choice of this one.

We actually had two rooms--a sitting room and a room with two beds plus a bathroom. Very comfortable indeed!

The rooms were a bit chilly in the mornings and evenings but comfortable during the day. And the hotel provided very nice bedding and an extra comforter.

Beautiful hotel with lovely interior. We stayed in a superior twin room which was excellent, very clean. The only criticism that I would make. There should be signs before leaving the hotel entrance informing people of the cars. As, you leave the hotel there is no pavement and cars at times speed past (I am very surprised that no-one has been seriously injured). I would urge that young children be supervised leaving the hotel. Lady on reception was lovely.

Historic bed and breakfast located in quiet older section of Ubeda. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Breakfast has many choices; some items are not on the menu like fruit and cheeses that you can ask for. Walk up Calle Real for other dining options.

Rooms could use updating with more shelves or hooks in the bathroom.

Fantastic historical property with loads of character. Spacious en suite rooms with very comfortable bed. Enjoyed the breakfast- nice to have the option of scrambled eggs and iberico ham. Friendly staff

nothing really. we researched the parking in advance and found the parking in plaza de palacio de ramblas very convenient with large spaces suitable for a 4x4 @16e for 24 hrs.

Beautiful old Palacio in the historic quarter. Good air conditioning. Helpful and efficient staff . Tasty breakfast. Free carparking nearby.

A couple of comfortable chairs in the spacious room and more lighting would been helpful

This is a very special boutique hotel in an old palace in the old centre of the city. It has innumerable antique features and is more like staying as a guest in someone's lovely home than a hotel. The public rooms are spacious and also reflect the building's long history. The food is excellent and cooked specifically to order. The ham and eggs for breakfast will be remembered forever. This is not mass catering but home cooking as you would serve to dear friends staying in your home.

This hotel fits the description "No pain, no gain". Arriving by car as we did when the hotel was hosting a large celebration lunch was a bit of a nightmare. The narrow one way cobbled street which fronts the hotel had nowhere we could park to unload our bags other than by holding up quite busy traffic at that time of day. There is no nearby secure parking. So you are obliged to drive away leaving your bags at the hotel 'lobby' to the municipal pay & park around the complex one way system and then walk back about a half kilometre. Other free non-secure parking which is closer is to say the least, overcrowded and not ideal. None-the-less, if you are adventurous and willing to make these sacrifices for a unique experience then, Just Do It.

The personell are all very kind. Delicious local breakfast. The free parking place is not far away from the hotel, like 5 minutes by walking. Very clean and quiet.

There is some bad smell coming from the bathroom sewer. But we keep the bathroom closed the whole time, so that it doesn't bother us quite much. But all in all the whole hotel is nice and clean.

Antiquity of hotel, lovely hotel, friendly staff. Comfortable beds and linen plus a dressing gown and slippers! For two lady travellers it was perfect.

Well it's all good for us, watch the size of the hire car your taking lol, had a few moments in a medium sized hatch back finding public car parks but adds to the fun, can drop bags off and can park elsewhere, staff have all info of course
