I could stay again at this place just for the comfort of staying in a sparkling clean place. The detached house is beautiful with a mansion feel and has a lot of potential. The cleaners are efficient and I appreciated to stay in a very clean ensuite female dorm. Room was warm too during the night for a good sleep. The café space outside is a great place to relax and talk to other travelers. Location is great, 5min walk to valencia joaquin sorolla train station and 15 to 20min easy walk to north station and city centre. Bus 31 from front of joaquim sorolla and 19 bus from north train station bring you to the beaches. Easy metro ride to the Airport - 5.80€ from metro Jesus take line 1 or 2 to Àngel Guimerà and change to 3 or 5 to the Airport. Metro jesus is 3 min walking from the venue hostel. Really well located as per me. The guy at reception who received me speaks very good english and was friendly. I arrived before check in time but he did store my luggage free of charge and I could go free exploring valencia. However on check out you have to pay a fee for them to keep your luggage if your flight is late in the day. Don't ask me why?

Few things to improve: WIFI was very bad, not a place of choice if on coworking Kitchen is very basic with no option to cook a meal. A coffee machine is the least to have in EU kitchen. There was a kettle though 35€ a night in a shared room with no breakfast is too expensive. My bed was not comfy at all, the mattress was sagging and this has a significant impact on your sleep comfort. The check out time 10 am is too early, the average in most Spanish hotels/hostel is at least 11 am. Not being able to store your luggage free of charge after check out is a real drawback especially if you ve stayed longer in the hostel

The staff here are the sweetest ever and the best part of the stay : )

The management need to respond to all of us writing about the bathroom issues and bed curtains...then they would be getting perfect ratings!

The room and the common areas were really clean and cozy. The bed had a curtain to ensure your privacy and every bed had its own charging area and a reading lamp. The beds were pretty big and all the rooms had they own bathroom and shower areas so you didn't have to share bathroom/shower with the whole hostel. The hostel was easily reachable with public transportation and it was in a reasonable distance of the city center. The workers and customers of the hostel were all kind and welcoming.

There was some things about the room that needed a little fixing (like the shower head was little loose and the stairs to my bed were a little difficult to climb on).

You can really tell that the hostel has positioned itself as a quality choice rather than one for budget travellers and you can definitely see that the high quality of the experience reflects the price. The prices of the on site bar are very good and all the staff are extremely polite and friendly. Personally my favourite thing about this hostel are the great vibes you get in the garden with all the palm trees. It really lets you relax and socialise with the other guests which is the whole point of hostels.

Wifi connection could be better. It's good enough for messaging and casual browsing but definitely not suitable for video calls. Then again maybe it's better if the wifi isn't great because then it encourages you to socialise! Location is a bit further out from the city centre but it wasn't a problem. 8 minutes by bus or about 20 on foot.

Very nice and relaxing hostel. The bar/courtyard area was great to hang out in and also work from. Coffee and drinks available all day. Very close walk from Joaquin Sorolla train station. Close to metro and buses, also supermarket and laundrymat all within a few mins walking. Breakfast is included if you book direct. The staff were excellent. Nico is really friendly and ready to help with anything you need, and Gonzolo is the soul of the place! He's social and made such an effort to ask for and remember everyone's names, too. You can tell he genuinely enjoys being there, and it was noticed by multiple guests.

Mosquito season in Spain - come prepared! Could do with hooks on walls, and small shelves on beds for phone charging etc. Especially top bunks.

I liked the style of the building and the cleanliness, also the helpfulness of the staff. Common areas are perfect. There's a beautiful garden belonging to the bar. Balcony belonging to the kitchen is useful. 24-hour reception.

There are no chairs or a table in the shared bedroom. There wasn't much space to put our stuff into (shelves, proper-size lockers) No cooker in the kitchen, only a microwave oven. All plates and mugs are plastic. 3 EUR charged if you leave your bag at the presmises after you checked out.

The staff were super helpful and friendly! They were very generous about not making me pay for a replacement room card when I accidentally lost the card for my room. The hostel is close to the AVE station and has a nice garden and terrace. The bar is really nice and everything was clean and comfortable.

I found the hot water in the shower took a long time to come on in the bathroom attached to the room I was staying in. There were some issues with the Wi-Fi but the friendly staff were quick to address the problem once I asked them for help.

We were welcomed by the owner in a very friendly and accommodating way, he allowed us to check the room before we decided to stay and kindly stored our bags until check in. Cool old Victorian building with a modern interior! We stayed in the private room, which was very comfortable, with an attached living room that gets the morning sun and a beautiful view on the sunset. To be in a busy city and enjoy a panoramic window view in a relaxed location is rare! We enjoyed the maturity of this hostel, at least on the evening we stayed, we experienced very little sound from other guests and it was nice to sit outside in the morning sun among other guests working silently. Nice staff and overall a very comfortable stay, thank you!

Nothing! :)

Really friendly place - super comfortable clean beds. Good sized bathroom and hot water shower. Nice enclosed garden with lights in the trees. Good basic breakfast. Nice they opened the cafe early on the Sunday for the runners staying there this weekend. Nice to have plug sockets in each bunk. Good pillow - very important. Have towels for hire which is handy.

The room was super super small. Not much room to manoeuvre. Had to take turns to pack etc. I got lucky that 2 of my nights there was only one other lovely girl in there. The room would be even better if there were any hooks to hang coats or towels

I love this hostel, I’ve stayed before. Clean and Comfy beds. People staying are quiet and respectful, not like some of the other party hostels in the center. Nice chill out and working area. The mixed dorm has more space and privacy curtains as opposed to the female dorm. Buses and subway is really close and easy but I preferred to walk into the centre. Staff are really helpful and lovely.

Nothing, just a suggestion to bring mosi repellent for the communal areas.
