I was so lucky having chosen Amari for my stay in Colombo. It is a great new hotel, with spacious and comfortable rooms, fantastic views other the city or the ocean, professional and friendly staff and stunning rooftop swimming pool and restaurant. It is a great value for money too. The food was delicious and well presented, both for breakfast ( both Western and Sri Lankan specialties) and room service. Did not try buffet dinner but will do so next time. If you are looking for a place to stay at either start or end of your tour to Sri Lanka, look no further than Amari Colombo.

The hotel is new and clean nice location the reception staff all were helpful arshad is wonderful person he assist us very well.

We booked 2 nights and want to extend first night we had a dinner inside hotel but 2 nd night suddenly the dinner buffet was stopped by hotel management which was little disturbing as such a brand should not stop suddenly if guest are less they should limit the buffet section so at least the Inhouse who is willing to have dinner can have it overall the Restutant staff need training the main chef and night manager was quite accommodating but Restutant staff need training

Amari Hotel was like a smaller version of the Shangri-la in terms of the deco, but the service was so personal. The location is perfect, right in the heart of everything but quiet with great views of the city or ocean, depending on which room you've booked. The hotel is modern, clean and very comfortable. We welcomed by Arshad and Tachila who took wonderful care of throughout our stay. The food and room service was definitely a reason to return. This was a perfect stay. We were sad to leave and will definitely be back.

The best bed I’ve ever slept. The room is itself an amazing experience as it is a new hotel and the views and all are of high quality. The swimming pool is also stunning 🤩

I asked for sea view but they gave me city view. Still it was amazing. I didn’t like that I had to accept conditions and give my personal details to use the Wi-Fi of the hotel. To protect my personal data is essential for me and here I could not if I wanted to use their Wi-Fi. I was asked if I wanted anything to drink as a welcome drink. Other great hotels just bring you the drink without asking and the cold towel. I suggest this. The welcome drink could also be improved. But all in all it was a fantastic experience that uli would highly recommend. Thank you!

Had a wonderful stay at Amari Colombo! The staff was incredibly friendly and even upgraded our room from Superior to Deluxe at no extra cost. The room was spacious with a stunning view. While the gym and spa are still under construction, everything else was fantastic. They’ve arranged a complementary cake for my dad’s birthday. Thank you and much appreciated for that. The food was amazing, and special thanks to Arshad for the upgrade, as well as Hansika, Shamin, and Nethmi for assisting with a late checkout. Highly recommend!

The staff members at this hotel were amazing! I would like to mention three staff members, especially Arshad, Nishel, and Kavishka. They were very welcoming and helped us as soon as we walked in. Definitely need more staff members like these three. I would come back again to this hotel and also recommend this hotel to others because of how well we were treated by Arshad, Nishel, and Kavishka.

Smooth check in, felt welcomed as som as you walked in. Invited to escort to the room and the rooms were fabulous. I requested an upper floor for the city lights view at night and it didn’t disappoint. Clean rooms, toilets and beds were very comfortable. We ordered food to the room and special shout out to the Nasigurang rice! The ice coffee wasn’t in the menu but they made couple for us anyways. We had a great stay and the price was more than reasonable. Highly recommend

We have no words to express the level of service and the beautiful Italian design of the hotel. We enjoyed it as we came from Italy and live in Italy.

Not having more time to stay enjoy this amazing treatment to forget about the entire world and enjoy this relaxation with great infinity swimming pool, amazing breakfast and sea view restaurant.

Great new property offering exceptional 5 star service. Nithumli front desk was amazing and spoke great English and perfect room tour. Stayed for buffet lunch with family. Great views and rooftop pool.

Could be enhanced by some small details such as warmer food at breakfast. Most items very cold including the coffee. Things such as facial tissues needed in the rooms, spare toilet roles and bigger bottles of shampoo/shower gels. No mini bar just a fridge and no local beer. Only shit Carlsberg.

High quality service, very kind and helpful staff, very responsive and giving good advices. Amazing breakfast buffet with plenty of options also for gluten-free diet and vegan. Quiet comfortable room with amazing ocean view. The best accommodation we had in sri lanka (well, after other lower types of accommodation, that was expected). Bed sheets and mattress very comfortable and iron and all kit you need in the room. The pool was great too.
