Before we could check in I went through the reviews on the website. There were mixed reviews. Pls experience It yourself before judging. It was completely opposite to what I was expecting. The staff were really helpful. Especially the guy in the reception and the one who took us to see the place. As I was not comfortable with the place which he had showed me initially so I asked for a change. The guy in the reception was really sweet to change it into a sea view and to a bigger apartment. My husband and daughter loved the place. We had called the housekeeping the following morning. They were really efficient and quick. And the place was really spacious and quiet. The location was accessible to all the places. Overall it was a good experience. Felt like we were living in Qatar. It was just the same. And plus you could hear the adhan from the mosque next door. Alhamdulillah. Thank you so much team.

Room was spacious, separate bedroom, balconies, comfortable bed, good a/C,. Drinking water from water dispenser saved using plastic bottles. Rooftop pool was good, but tiles slippery. Supermarket on ground floor for basic supplies. Breakfast was large but not a wide variety...set menu was western foods. Staff were helpful and informative . Room made available for early check in, extra pillows supplied when requested. Mosque call to prayer was not on our side of building so not really heard.

Roof top bar did not serve alcoholic drinks and no bottle shop near hotel.. Room deposit was cash only,...you need to convert LKR to foreign currency before you leave Sri Lanka (airport if you are heading out of country).

Location is great and conveniently located nearby stores, many restaurants and local & street markets. Easy access to local transport (auto/tuck tucks, uber, taxies & buses etc.) and situated by Galle Road as well other main streets. Wellawatte beach is very close by about 7-10 mins walk and Galle Face beach is around 15 to 20 minutes drive or approx. an hour walk. Two room apartment size is adequate for four adults or families with children. Three rooms apartments also available. Check-in & Checkout were smooth and quick enough. Reception staff, bell boys and other hotel staff were great and very helpful. I will recommend this hotel for families with kids, business and leisure travellers.

Improvements should be considered by management re: cleanness of rooms, bed comforts and amenities provided. Separate water bottles weren't provided in rooms. Towels weren't fresh/not clean enough. Wash room size is fairly small.

Ignore all negative reviews about Supun. This is a 2-3 star apartment, not a five star hotel. For the price the standard is excellent. I found Supun to be clean, the staff very friendly, polite and helpful. My apartment was spacious, spotlessly clean (every day), and very comfortable. Thank you to the housekeeping staff! Food around the Wellawatte area is brilliant and a fraction what you will pay in the pricey malls uptown. Great for business travellers, couples and family’s.

Nothing If I could suggest one thing it would be to have a microwave oven in the kitchen to reheat food purchased outside. Small thing and it didn’t affect my stay at Supun at all.

Location and the super market facility and parking made this property better

Refundable deposit of 30,000 in cash bit scary and give a fear feeling . When you book a three bedroom appartment and we can’t check all fittings and locks and all , if you didn’t care when you check in and you used the appartment only for sleeping and have a shower and all of the sudden when you check out if staff say you damaged that , and this what shall we do ? They easily cut the deposit and asked us to leave . So there should be a proper explanation and give a trust to the money which is taken in cash to the guests is a must . And mention this refundable deposit in the booking.com itself . Luckily we didn’t face such things but we scared about it

I have requested the iron, microwave, fridge, and water dispenser be in working order. Out of which, the Microwave was not working. After informing this a repair person came and tried to repair it. But failed. Then he swapped a microwave from a different room. But I discovered that it was not working either. Then he came back with a brand new microwave and installed it. While it took about 2-3 hours in total, I was glad to have a new and working microwave in the end.

There was a small incident in the lobby on the third day while I was waiting for my Uber when one of the staff assumed I was trespassing/loitering there. It was settled after I told them my room number.

Stayed here with 13 other friends, renting 3 apartments. Very good for a large group. The apartments were very spacious. The pool area very nice but could use some parasols as it gets really hot with the sun. Staff very friendly and attentive to our needs. Would recommend for large groups.

Just a few minor mishaps. One of the freezers had spilt water in front of it but it was swiftly cleaned up on demand. One of the apartments did not ave the water dispensers as the other two, but despite requesting it, it never arrived. For us not an issue as we had two other apartments to get water from but it should have been dealt with. Breakfast had limited options.

This place was spacious, clean, and comfortable. We only stayed one night, but I would have stayed longer if not travelling around. Maybe we will return on our way back. The shower was amazing. Hot water was available , washing machine, iron board, kettle, and a few other items included. Air conditioning and fan in all the rooms, beds were comfortable, view was lovely.

Nothing but would be helpful to have something to wash up dishes and utensils with as nothing was there.

This time I was given room 304. It had convenient power sockets near the bed which made working on the bed quite easy. The room had a refrigerator, a microwave, a water dispenser, and an iron as promised (as opposed to my last visit). The A/Cs worked reasonably well I put both A/Cs at 16C but it felt at around low 20s. This may be due to the very high outside temperature these days.

The water dispenser was not one that had a cooling/heating function. (ie, it does not have a plug at all). But this was not a big issue as I filled some water bottles and put them in the refrigerator. One thing people using booking .com should note is that the rate at which they convert the dollar amount to rupees is slightly steeper than what booking com or google tells. For example, Both Booking com and Google on that day set $1 to Rs300 but the property converted it at $1 to Rs314.

The apartment was very open and airy, although facing the road was noisy. The location is actually great, less commercial area, so a lot of food, supermarket options were all in walking distance. The pool was very nice, wish we spent more time there. The staff at the reception were available, prompt and very friendly. Being on Galle road made it easy to just grab a tuk from or walk around in.

The master bedroom facing the road was very noisy, so we had to use the other bedroom, which meant we could not access both the bathrooms, as mentioned on the logistics. The kitchen tap was leaking, there was nothing to wash dishes with (it didn't make sense for us to buy dishwasher for a 2 night stay). The wi-fi kept on not working from time to time, and was very slow overall.
