Lovely stay at Leighton Resort. The staff were welcoming, friendly and very helpful! They were very responsive to my request for an airport pick up and were ready waiting to pick me up from Colombo airport even after I had made an error with my flight details. At the hotel, I was treated to a welcome drink and helped to sort out a SIM card for such a good price. Because of my great experience, I booked another 2 nights at the end of my trip! When it was time to head to the airport, it was no problem for a drop off at midnight! I would recommend a stay here at the beginning/ end of your Sri Lankan trip :)

Clean and enjoyable place. Good AC and comfy bed! Good breakfast and very nice staff!

Only minus is that we waited our driver over than hour at the airport, but it was free pick up 👍

The room was quiet, spacious and clean; the bed was very comfortable; the bathroom was clean; the view from the balcony was pleasant (overlooking the pool and green area); the pool was perfect (as sea conditions are not always ok in September); and the staff were friendly and very helpful. Great location: few meters away from the beach and Main Street (restaurants, cafes, shops), a short Tuk Tuk ride away from Negombo (market, bus station, etc), and not far from the airport. Perfect spot if you are looking for somewhere to stay on arrival or just before departure from Colombo airport. The hotel offers airport shuttle service to the airport. Excellent value for money,

I really liked my two night stay here. Room was large with nice outlook iof palm trees. Hot water and Aircon worked. There was a kettle. Room was very clean. The staff were fantastic.. friendly helpful and organised. The free airport shuttle was completely on time. The breakfasts were really really good..one western one Sri Lankan.. delicious. Location is close to main beach street, shops, cafes etc

The rooms are big, clean and we were in luck to get a room with pool view. The staff is very friendly, you can sit by the pool and order beverages and they also serve delicious breakfast/lunch. The pool water is chilly, which is a great escape from the heat during the day. The location is also nice, close to bars and restaurant and to Colombo beach. They also offer free airport transfer.

The bed was a little wobbly but not a deal breaker.

Perfect transit hotel! I was here for 1 night, before my flight home and the hotel was perfect for it. Airport shuttle is for free which is great and was on time in the morning. Shower was great, hot shower, and location was nice 1-2 minutes walking distance to the Main Street with lots of Restaurants, bars, clubs etc. staff was soooo friendly and helpful! I can really recommend this hotel.

Very spacious and comfortable room and bed. Nice small pool.

Something went wrong in the communication about my pick up time from the hotel to the airport, which resulted that I was picked up half an hour later than planned. Luckily I could still catch my flight.

Staff are really genuine, friendly and helpful, it's a really nice atmosphere. The rooms are large and easy to keep cool. No noise travels from.other rooms. Easy walking distance from shops and beach.

Our balcony door was broken, so didn't slide properly, making it difficult to open and close. Everything else was great!

Large room, reasonably quiet space, strong Aircon and comfortable beds. Easy and comfortable space to be in. Huge bed. WiFi is good, although doesn't always reach the corners of the building. Super friendly and helpful staff made sure our stay was comfortable and welcoming. Will definitely be back again.

WiFi not as strong as ideal and the pool a bit hard to use due to its location, but everything else was excellent.

The hotel is very well located; you can walk to the beach, and getting there from the airport is very easy. We also had the chance to try local specialties like “Egg Hoppers,” which were absolutely delicious. On top of that, we received great advice from the lovely receptionist.
