Everything was perfect for us during our stay. We had a very late night check in and requested a late check out and the manager said it's not an issue. Next morning we were greeted by the owner and shared a very nice conversation with us. He helped us buy fish from market and even kept the fish in their freezers till the time we check out. And he even extended our check out time till late evening with no extra charge. We stayed till 6 pm in this lovely place. Most of the afternoon we were in the lovely swimming pool while enjoying their delicious dishes. We will return to this place again.

Nothing to dislike.

Breakfast was delicious, the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Addressed our concerns well and have good knowledge of the local area and srilanka. Price was very reasonable. Beds were comfy (except no duvet provided) and rooms had good AC. Had a balcony with a view and also had a nice little swimming pool.

Bathroom needs some improvement (shower force, lights, etc) and the see through blinds between the bathroom and bedroom weren't particularly a hit as we were staying with family members. Please provide duvet in your rooms not just a bed sheet.

The accommodation was very cozy and comfortable. The location is very close to the beach and just a short walk to all restaurants and the Main Street. But what made our stay so extraordinary was the wonderful and caring staff, their recommendations and advices regarding our itinerary really helped us planning our vacation. The local breakfast was delicious and their service deserves extra credit. We will come back for sure! Katja, Leni and Kia

Very comfortable beds, nice pool, calm & quiet place. The staff is very friendly. & always positive minded. Veryl supportfull. They did their maximum to enjoy our stay. Good breakfast. We stayed for two days. If anyone likes to self cook, they will provide kitchen equipment & you have to bring the stuff. As well as all hotels, groceries are located around the hotel. Close to the beach. 10 minutes walking distance to the beach. The front desk lady always has a kind smile and sathya (assistant) always helps us. (Like a butler)

Due to the power cut, no current at the hotel. But finally they found a Generator. So, kind request to look after the continuous power supply during the whole day.

Great place to spend a calm holiday. Rooms were clean and well maintained. staff was very friendly and very attentive. Food also great and their portion sizes are big. they also have a small pool in the property. we didn’t used it but it also well cleaned. highly recommending this place. Great value for money. Got to know that the income also going for a children’s home. happy to hear that.

Summerside Wood Nest is an excellent spot! It's not just clean, but impeccably so, which immediately makes you feel comfortable. The staff there are incredibly friendly, always ready with a warm greeting and a smile. It's genuinely a good place to hang out, whether you're looking for a cozy corner to read a book or a vibrant atmosphere to catch up with friends. Overall, a fantastic experience!

The place is very neat and located walking distance from the beach. It was the perfect spot to rest after a long flight. The owner and staff are super friendly and helped us with getting transport arranged to our next destination. The owner brought us to the busstop and patiently waited for over 20 minutes till the buss arrived. I would highly recommend to begin or end your trip in Sri Lanka at Summer Side in Negombo!

Could not fault this stay. Clean facilities. Good air con, fan and hot water. Nice quiet location away from the main road but still within easy walking distance to the shops and beach. Unbelievably friendly staff who will do everything they can for you. Would not hesitate to stay here again

The manager and the helper both were very kind and helpful and even took me to a place nearby for dinner as i reached there late night. Room was big and clean. Toilet was clean . It had balcony as well. Also served complimentary coffee before leaving for airport. Would love to visit again.

I had a spacious room with a river view. The pool is clean and big enough to swim. If you need to work, there's a comfortable common area. If you stay for a longer period, they may allow you to use the kitchen. The beach is near, as well as a few good restaurants, like Ocean 14 or Jude's Place.
