The hotel is stunning; the moment you step inside, it's a "wow" experience. Everything is beautifully decorated and seamlessly blends with the local culture. Surrounded by lush greenery, the property exudes positive energy. Our private room host, Thisari, was incredibly kind and attentive to all our needs. There are numerous complimentary activities available. We enjoyed a guided nature walk and a boat ride on the lagoon, both great experiences. Additionally, there are various other activities to diversify your stay without ever leaving the hotel. All staff was very kind and always with a smile. While at the beach, we met Sri, a travel agent who helped arrange our transportation to the next hotel. I highly recommend his services; everything went smoothly, and it was more affordable than we had anticipated.

The spa's prices are excessively high. Despite the presence of lifeguards, the sea was choppy during our stay, so it's important to be vigilant while enjoying the beach.

Nice location on the beach!

Unfortunately too many kids and families not respecting the pool rules so not a good environment to use the pool during our stay and the ocean almost as rough as the water in the pool.

Beautiful hotel, it has so much you can do as part of your stay so I was gutted we got their late in the afternoon. You are allocated a personal assistant who is on call with whatever you need which is a lovely touch. The food was delicious, breakfast was great! my friend couldn’t get enough of the crab curry in the Asian restaurant, though the desserts needs changing a bit. The products (cream, soap shampoo etc.) were one of the nicest I’ve used in a 5* hotel. The staff were great! I love the little touches they add when you arrive and Farwell ceremony.

It might have been because of the humidity but the beds were damp, we did ask for them to change the sheets which they did. The Bathroom smelt of sewage in the morning, not sure if it was because of the rain but not great!

Large, clean, modern rooms. Huge bathroom, with a large shower. Large balcony with a couch and glass parapet, to fully enjoy the exceptional beautiful view. Tour organization, especially the safari. Lots of cute animals on the premises (chipmunks, peacocks, land monitors, etc.) Good a la carte restaurants. Very nice beach that is (kind of) exclusive for the hotel guests. Lots of friendly staff, availabe 24/7. Nice, clean, pool area, with food and drink service. Lots of sunbeds.

Expensive buffet; It has a high quality and very large choice, but if you're not planing to eat tons of food, the value for money is not given. Luckily they have two a la carte restaurants and the in room dining as reasonable alternatives. Everything is rather pricey, so don't expect cheap Sri Lankan prices.

The bed and pillows were comfy, the staff were so welcoming and friendly, the food was top notch and the weather.. Stunning! We took day trips to yala national park, turtle rehabilitation and the tea plantation, but honestly there's so much to do at the resort that you don't even need to leave. There's tennis, table tennis, pool table, badminton, spa, gym, beach, 2 pools, complimentary activities such as a boat ride and yoga and there's also many peacocks, monkeys and hares roaming around the resort. They also assign a host to you, ours was Anthony, who was extremely helpful in booking massages and answering out questions. It's definitely one of the best resorts we've been to. We'll definitely be back!

Everything was perfect!

This is a lovely resort with a private beach. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food was all delicious and lots of choice across the three restaurants. The pool villa room we had was amazing with our own private pool. It was really quiet and lovely to sit and relax. Our villa host Yohan was really friendly and helpful, we could WhatsApp him any requests and he would sort them very promptly, and he would pick us up in the electric tuk tuk to transport us around the resort. There is a lovely main pool area and you can access the hotel’s beach easily which has lovely views, although the sea was too rough to swim in. Nice complimentary activities like yoga. The spa is very nicely done with a relaxing atmosphere, although more expensive than other treatments at other Sri Lanka hotels. The resort is well designed and there is wildlife easily seen around the resort like peacocks and monkeys.

We had the half board package which actually only included dinner at the buffet restaurant. To eat at the other two a la carte restaurants cost extra, with a discount on some items, but we didn’t feel the discount was reasonable when already paying for dinner with the package.

What a property! This hotel has so many amenities which make it a little haven in Tangalle. We stayed for just two nights but when we arrived we didn’t leave the resort once. From table tennis, pool table, tennis courts to the amazing pool, spa and beach itself there’s so much to do. They also offer complimentary things such as a 30 minute consultation with their resident Ayurvedic doctor which was really cool to experience. The restaurants are also good. We didn’t only had buffet for breakfast which was excellent and ate in their onsite restaurants for the two nights we were there, Il Mare and Verala. I would rate Verala higher. The room itself is fabulous and the biggest room we had throughout our whole stay! Finally the staff are great. Our concierges name was Shafraz and he made all of our restaurant reservations and was available via WhatsApp to answer any questions we had. Great hotel overall and for those bringing kids, it also seemed really kid friendly!

Nothing we didn’t like, I would say the restaurants are on the expensive side.

This resort was just perfect in every aspect. Professional staff, warmest welcome ever, excellent quality food in all restaurants (they have one buffet restaurant, pool bar restaurant, Italian and Asian one). All rooms are incredibly clean and equipped with all the necessary amenities (free water everyday, coffee, tea, minibar, or whatever you need you can ask to your referent person and he will bring immediately somebody to you); very comfortable bed and bathroom with tub and shower. Amazing view on the garden and the ocean from the big balcony with sofa where you can relax. Excellent spa service with complimentary consultancy with a doctor and high quality of the treatments. Many other complimentary services as well (such as boat tours in the river of the resort, coconut for free). Surrounded by nature and paradisiac beach, it is definitely the perfect location to relax and be like in heaven.

Nothing at all.

Huge area with a lot of animals and birds. Friendly and helpful staff. Kids were well entertained by kids club representatives. Great Spa and massage therapists.

Same breakfast options / buffet every day. No good options of good quality healthy food, like salads, vegetables... no arugula / rocket salad, no smoked salmon. Initially gave us villa with AC that has not operated well. We had to pack language next day to move to another villa, where we did not experience same issues.

Amazing staff and location. Room had a great beach view... we would love to return if they sorted the all inclusive selections ( see my other comments)

We had an all inclusive package being a family - we also booked one of their top rooms... so what did I detest ? Unlike other hotels you only had what was in the mini bar and once used you had to pay for more items! Water incl ! Also ... the dinner menus for all inclusive were much smaller in options than the other a la carte menus ... and the bar selection was incredibly limited and poor quality. All that which made us feel frustrated and ripped off...
